Yes, good observation, it really feels like it has mass, unlike in EA WRC. I might set up a shifter cam too like I had in the past. Pretty much only important for H-pattern cars though.

OK, you and Leza made me do this. Just got the game for 12 euros and now to get the mods. The thing is, I always liked RBR and tougher sims so I'm really looking forward to playing another hard game.
Make sure and do the damage mod as well! I landed a bit sideways in a dip of a jump and Totaled my car. Something that would never happen with regular damage in this game. You don't need the brutal damage since that makes it to where you total your car if you bottom out a little but what I call the "safer suspension" damage mod is the one I use. That way you can still do jumps in this game, you just can't do 5th or 6th gear redline hero jumps. Lol

Before WRC made it's way to Croatia, my ex fiance (unfortunately) and I made a mod track for AC, Medvednica mountain above Zagreb, Croatia. We had no experience but had a good idea and did pretty good considering everything. This stage became a part of WRC just by accident and now you can drive it in EA WRC (Bliznec stage and some other). I can always e-mail you and write more about some ideas but I know we both like rally and good rally physics, music, extreme sports, etc. AC Evo is coming and there will be an editor right at the start. I would like to recreate the whole mountain and part of Zagreb for freeroaming, rally competitions (that are happening there besides WRC), hotlaping and whatever. Ofc it would be lidar scanned this time. Blah, blah, I can talk till tomorrow. Would like to invite you one of these days for a lap on my server on the Medvednica mountain, a place where I learned to drive, where WRC was a couple of years ago and where you'll have lot's of fun, guaranteed. For future projects I just want to say I don't really "need" you and won't ever ask anything from you but if you are interested in telling the world about this project, organizing stuff there, using it for free and giving feedback that would be amazing. I know, we are far away from each other but who gives a f. Why all this? I will never ever again use social media, long story short. @Alexneroverona the biggest thing that kept me away was the controls not mapping properly, followed by the throttle issue and clutch issue and lastly the audio ducking. Getting over the controls hump was what truly allowed me to give this game a solid second look. although I would have never re-downloaded the game if it hadn't been for @riky_sims physics tweaks.
How is this game so good i was shocked when i went thru the fence😮 (played to much ea-wrc lol) the fence broke in to pieces!!! Also i forgot rally game can be cristal clear and not a blury mess
I played way more it than ea wrc which is just trash for me, i dont get good feeling with it despite tried various settings, and blurry mes is kiliing me, i'm on 4080, 7800x3d and it still sucks even maxed out, but as mentioned the main worst thing is physics

Did the camera make your hair shorter? Joking, but the camera setup looks awesome. Though an improvement needed: - .2 seconds cut after the video ending snap, and a black screen after the finger snap would make it the best ever.🤣
There were two folders in the Rikys physics mod. One for physics and one that says ffb. Is it recommended to copy both folders in or just the physics folder? Each folder has a file with recommended ffb settings.
Too bad this game doesn't support vr natively. The added depth perception really helps me gauge my braking distance and countersteer angle. Will see how much of a pain Vorpx is to set up.
As far as I understand, vorpx can only work with a flat-screen image. Meaning it can put you in a 3d space but only in the direction the camera is naturally facing. There might be a way to connect the camera horizontal and vertical axis to your head movement but I'm not sure.
If someone has a problem with saving ffb in game. I found a solution: 1.Use a controller for menu and stuff 2.if ur on fanatec: pc mode, in game csw2.5 bind ur pedals, wheel, handbrake, shifter 3.set ur csw 2.5 as main controller So now u can change ur ingame ffb and vibrations etc and it will save always Remeber controller= menues and other Wheel=driving
@vedadtursum6341 I had this issue, I fixed it by deleting my profile controller mapping and switching the gamepad from on, to off and then on again. then starting over mapping everything.
Hey bro thanks for all of this, ive got a few questions about the ricky sims physics mod: Do you genuinely think that the gameplay does not get messed up and with the mod feels more immersive? And secondly is there a car list of what rickys mod has changed so far, so im aware what to use to try it out if i do decide to. Thirdly bro if i dont like the physics mod can i revert back to original WRC Gen Phyisics, can you do a video demonstrating this? Thank you
The gameplay does feel better with the mod and nothing gets messed up. If you don't like it, you can follow my instructions in this video and replace the adjusted files back to the original files.

Seems to be an issue with the game where when i put the Engine.UsePkg = true; to Engine.UsePkg = false the game crashes on launch. Has anyone else delt with that? Ive already done the verify files and when i turn it back to true it doesnt crash.
I mean there is a way to disable it in the previous games but I haven't tried it on this one because it would prevent any leaderboards to be counted. But I have a video on this if youre interested.

Mate first of all make sure to be very high setting SSR(reflection) in game graphics then reduce the value in ''UserSettings.cfg'' file : Engine.Renderer.SSR.RaymarchingSSRThreshold = 0.2; this is normally 0.6 value which makes the all reflections disgustingly eye bleeding especially wet conditions even in gravel Also Engine.Renderer.SSR.RaymarchingSSRBlurFactor = 0; This should be zero also.. Now you have more realistic raining reflection. MEGA JOB You can also disable vignette : Engine.PostProcess.Vignette = false;, This creates an artificial yellow tint colors but if you don't like you can enable. NOW KEEP ON DRIVING.

With the camera mod I included in the description you can adjust the fov more i believe.

How do you know if the mod is working correctly?
@PureRallyUK19 if the cars feel different while driving and if you crash at a realistic speed, you will severely damage you car or total it.

I will have to try this, I noticed some of the wet roads looking overdone and textures getting weird on dirt when wet.
@labpong7562 yes when the pavement is wet it seems to look great but the dirt can sometimes be overdone.
