I’m someone who’s been following you since your first Metallica reaction and You are someone who gets it. You break down Metallica as it’s supposed to be broken down. Both you and this band understand that there are 5 dimensions to music. Also if I could like this video more than once I would in a heart beat. You get 6 out of 5 stars from me. With that said looks like you should finish the rest of the albums 😉 PS: if you want your Metallica fan base back just react to more Metallica. We search everyday for more reactions because we want to share our memories with you. For the past several years every day I have searched for more reactions. Just say the word and we got you!
This song is brutal! Glad you reacted to it. One more thing, your reactions aren't too long. We love to watch you as much we can, your thoughs and interpretations are just incredible, like I said on theI If Darkness Had a Son reaction you did. In fact there are people that close the video only because they like some parts of these Metallica songs more than others, like the solo or something like that, and once you reacted to that part, they consider it "over". I watch your entire reaction, I like to do it and many other people too. Please NEVER stop doing Metallica reactions, we need to see you hearing the first time and also learning something new!
Just another song where The Kings of Music unleash their superior and otherworldly talents 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘…..TITANS and LEGENDS 🔥🔥🤘🤘. I saw them playing this monster of a song last summer in Copenhagen…let me assure you; They KILLED it like in their late twenties….not bad for four guys aged 60 / close to 60
I honestly thought you had already done a reaction to this song!! Haven't even started the video, but I'll say already that your reactions, specifically your MetallicA reactions are unlike any other I've seen!! I absolutely LOVE your insight and your understanding of their music!! You're a goddamn legend Dave, Much Love & Respect🙏🤘
Classic, pure classic. Intro belongs to Cliff Burton (and it's based on Bach's piece "Come Sweet Death"), most of the song belong to James & Lars, and the bridge riff belongs to Kirk Hammett. So, they all contributed to this masterpiece
Great reaction, Dave! Great way to close an album, but the album opener (Battery) has even better intro imo, plus one of the best and thrashiest riffage
Wow Dave…….This reaction…….. Was LEGENDARY!!!!!!!!!! Hands down one of the best Metallica reactors out there man!!! These are the videos that will make you shine my boy! Master Of Puppets is Metallicas biggest and most famous album ever man! You need to react to all of it!! I highly suggest that you react to the left songs from this album before the new album comes out! Because everybody will be into their new album for a year when it drops. So now is the time!!!
I saw them play this song as the encore of the second night at Rockville. Incredible. To have that much energy after 2 nights and just kill it,further proving why they’re the kings.Great video👍🏻
I've heard this song for plus 30 years. Your analysis made me here things I never realized. I appreciate your musical knowledge and insight and interpretation my friend. You definitely need your Dave cave 😜
Yup... Volume swells... he's picking Chords high on the neck, with the volume off, then swelling the volume up either with a pedal or the knob on his bass. There was no delay effect. He was making the delay effect manually.
I've commented on your Metallica reactions before, and I'll say it again. Your Metallica reactions are fantastic. The two best Metallica reaction channels are 'Lost in Vegas' and yours. Awesome man.
This is my all time favorite. And Metallica can be very complex so pausing is fine, pause as much as you want to get the feeling :) you'll always get a better feel of it if you let the phrases finish ;)
Wtf this guy reacts to everything (I’m saying it in a good way) cuz I started watching him when he would react to Issacwhy and Softwilly music then bbno$ and I was looking for reactions for damage inc and he pops up 👍
What it do Dave!!!! Perfect stank face on the thumbnail. Cliff kinda did a similar piece like Bach's "Come sweet Death" or death comes sweetly. I apologize if that's incorrect. Bro I wish I had the cash to donate for you to watch and listen to MetallicA's recent live versions of "Dirty Window" from the album St Anger. James Hetfield is a beast! And for some reason I thought u had done all of Master of Puppets. Guess not 😂
Hey ;-) I love the fact that you reacted to so many of Metallica's tunes . Hats off for that ..... But please let the music do the talking ... Stop once or twice and the comment at the end ;-)
I miss you so much dave because I’ve been gone for couple of months or weeks ego cause I was too busy but not only because of that it no matter if I’m busy or not. The reason why I left and didn’t leave any comments on your videos it is because of I watch so many other videos that has been send it on notification therefore I don’t always watch some of UA-cam videos but I always watch UA-cam shorts so that’s exactly what I’m doing all the time
I'm not a bass player by any means but I think that intro is volume swells with some bass wah pedal in there and a touch of studio. Anyone ? Open to suggestions
I, for one appropriate your commentary! I wish you would go deeper even, flex those jazz muscles, and give more technical commentary, please 👍 I like to learn from other musicians, making me appreciate the music even more!! I play guitar, I think about the fretboard and where to play music that has stringed instruments in it. But I love it when ppl like you pull me out of the habit and think differently about the composition as a whole, plus much more. I know you are looking for bigger numbers, but there aren't many of us who wish for others' input on their territory, most want to be the reactor to other reactors. Ego, closed-minded etc. I could describe it better, but those who know don't need it spoonfed. I am from Europe, and I don't want to piss ppl off but I enjoy the cultural aspects also, it is many reasons. Anyway, do your jazz and demolish the bad parts, you have the skills, Metallica has lots of nah parts, but they are short and natural, nobody can write gold in perpetuity. I don't like enter sandman, but you do, and I still listen to other people's comments on that stuff. sorry I am repeating myself over and over again.. (I think YT has a method to filter out a discussion from the millions of short vague comments, so my rambling is not a total waste. I talk about things you said, and that is engagement as a youtube friend of mine said) Cheers
He only does it on a couple songs but love it when Hetfield shouts "GO!" just before a ripping Kirk guitar solo, that's so rock and roll
and the solo is soooo gooood!
Same here!! And hearing Papa Het say it live gives goosebumps especially when you know it's coming, but it hits even harder! 🎼🤘🎸🥁🔥
Since this song comes right after Orion on the album, Cliff's intro fades in very nicely from Orion's outro, since it fades out

@@TheViperSlash I would like to reinforce how awesome you are 😉 thank you for that comment.
@@Nightmare_Texas thank you very much, man🙏🫡

Man, you really know your shit, I've been listening to this band for most of my life and you made me think of things I never realised before.
This and Dyer's Eve are their 2 best pure thrash songs. Disposable Heroes is a VERY close 3rd.
Battery, Fight Fire with Fire & Trapped Under Ice aren’t too shabby either
Great reaction, Dave! Great way to close an album, but the album opener (Battery) has even better intro imo, plus one of the best and thrashiest riffage

Was there! Shit my pants when the intro came on
My all time favorite Metallica jam.
I know this is 5 months old but I hope you see this Dave and know your vibe is inspiring. Real man shit 🤝
I've heard this song for plus 30 years. Your analysis made me here things I never realized. I appreciate your musical knowledge and insight and interpretation my friend. You definitely need your Dave cave 😜
You explained that really fast part of the solo perfectly my friend!
Solo is an absolute face melter love it !
Feeling that solo... When you got that Fuchi face, you know is a banger!!! lol
Mannn...
Satisfaction indeed...
Always luv your reaction...when it come to Metallica..
I watched your skyrim video and now this,Great content👍
you need to be hosting a late night radio program
Yup... Volume swells... he's picking Chords high on the neck, with the volume off, then swelling the volume up either with a pedal or the knob on his bass. There was no delay effect. He was making the delay effect manually.
We still her brother. Love the breakdowns✌🏻
The riff is destructive but when the solo comes the backing riff is out of this world, Hetfield is an absolute beast, the goat.
This album by far is the best they ever made out of All of them it's a masterpiece
Take all the time needed!
Great reaction. Damage Inc was the name of Al Capone's henchmen. Don't know if it was mentioned.
Thanks, Dave! 😘
I got you
We miss you Cliff! 🤘
Love to see more metal on the channel, I like your reactions a lot
I've commented on your Metallica reactions before, and I'll say it again. Your Metallica reactions are fantastic. The two best Metallica reaction channels are 'Lost in Vegas' and yours. Awesome man.
I've said this many times before and I will say it again. Your Metallica reactions are legendary bro 👏
Best intro ever. Its even better when preceded by Orion.
Go!🎸🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
This is my all time favorite. And Metallica can be very complex so pausing is fine, pause as much as you want to get the feeling :) you'll always get a better feel of it if you let the phrases finish ;)
Bro, you’ve got a perfect narrator’s voice. Great vid
that intro gave mi goosepumps like 3 times
kirk went god mode on that solo

i love how he speculating theorys after the cliffs intro 🤔😂😂😅 bruh this is so hilarious starts .. one sec after *pauses* why is this so funny 😭😭
great reaction man
Cliffs damage Inc Orion and anesthesia pulling teeth, and for whom the bell tolls.... are MONUMENTAL BASS PLAYING.
You got to finish the album!
Dave your reaction videos are really cool 🤟
Love the content 🔥🤙
Final Cliff Burton's piece of music
Better than a cup of cofee🤘

@@whatitdodave Also, brilliant reaction and musically intelligent breakdown.

Miss the Metallica reactions. You really need to go to Metallica concert before they retire. They're getting up there in age
13:38 ITS NOT OVER BABY 😉
I'm curious what you'd think of the latest Meshuggah album. I'd try "Kaleidoscope"
Yeah.....this is one of those songs that will get you to act up. If the U.S. Navy SEALS had a theme song, this would be it.
Hey ;-) I love the fact that you reacted to so many of Metallica's tunes . Hats off for that ..... But please let the music do the talking ... Stop once or twice and the comment at the end ;-)
You should react to inner Contrarities by Invocator it is a thrash masterpiece and it is faster than any Metallica album that ever came out

Love the reactions.. the breakdown.. please just one thing. Don’t pause or comment during the solos.. before it’s starts or after it finishes..
I'm not a bass player by any means but I think that intro is volume swells with some bass wah pedal in there and a touch of studio. Anyone ? Open to suggestions
That's and probably just barely running fingers over the high strings quickly
Cliffs amazing intro…. And outro. This was his last song
The solo says to me, this is damage and I'm incorporating it on you
the intro is cliff on bass and they reversed it.
This is how you close an album...
You look like Manny Ramirez! Lol

I recommend "Reging Waters" by testament, very fast!
react to the new nanowar of steel song called pasadena 1994🙏
Are you fan by steel into your ear? Nothing else maters....
They would've been amazing now if he were still alive and in the band. I find them a bit stale and outdated in their later albums.
Geez. 🤷 they sound mad about something. Wonder why?
