Dont forget that if it wasnt for the engineer update, engineer mains everywhere would still not be able to move their buildings AT ALL. 2007 through early 2010 we could only place them down and just wait til someone eventually blows them up or a spy saps them. No moving or hauling at all until this update came out, so this was monumental.

There's still something that confuses me:
There's two faces of the community, the first one being what you see almost everywhere and it's the good side - people having fun, improving, communicating, laughing, and just leaving TF2 as it is.
Then there's the other side that spends thousands of dollars on unusuals and keeps pubstomping with 40 killstreak and 120 points, and of course a pocket medic. This one os the bad side.
They both have one thing in common though - they think that F2P's are like the Blue team in "Rise Of The Epic Scout" by Crash Maul. However, I've been a F2P for over 7 years now and I've been a part of the community for quite a while, lived some long stuff - i remember when Scout could stun you completely locking you in place, when Dead Ringer would save you from backstabs and more. So i do not like the bad side of the TF2 community.
But who is listening to me anymore? I'm only sharing opinions that a mere mortal (F2P) has. You guys are gods with these pubstoming abilities and 50 unusuals in your pockets.

I think the term F2P is always flung around if people mean "new". It's in a way a term, that many oldschool tf2ber used and made fun of. It's weird, but should not be held to a standard

I loved it when the heavy update in 2019 added in an unskibable cutscene for heavy making a new sandwich as it recharges.

It's nice to view tf2 over the years. Tf2 was in development hell for 9 years and it took Valve as long to perfect it. Tho i hard disagree on MYM. That update done damage to tf2. On such level. I blame it and JI on the state of disrepair tf2 in. That being said. If tf2 stopped developments in 2015 but we got the pyro fixes of JI and some of the good buffs that MYM had. I would not be mad about tf2 being abandoned like that.

20:51 Even if i loathe krampus voice and voice lines. I think he is hands down one of the best bosses in tf2 and he doesn't interrupt the gameplay. It give you fun thing to do until the enemy team respawn. Also the map itself is good KOTH map.
I think summer 2023 is one of the best recent updates (7/10)
