Shadows of Reach gives actual numbers to Infinity’s MACs. 3,000 ton slug at 25% light speed. Or approximately 1,826 gigatons. Otherwise known as 36,520 of the most powerful nuclear weapons ever detonated by modern man. That is… a mind boggling amount of energy, and the fact that Mantle’s Approach took a double barrel with minimal damage that was easily repaired, is absolutely terrifying.

I got a question. Why doesn’t the UNSC use graphene instead of metals because graphene is a super material that could at least shield the ship from one plasma bolt, and graphene is super strong and light, and it’s electronically conductive so when a plasma bolt hits it it would distribute the heat and power of it all over the ship as a protection, it also could be used as a power booster to power the shields back up.

Maybe just attach a link on top of each topic already on archive and give a heads up in beginning of the video to see link above. Just my personal opinion
the funny thing is that in a reality were things like FTL travel exist the UNSC doesn't really need an army to invade and or destroy the covenant just point something at that planet with enough mass and shoot it at a velocity of speed of light and that planet will be destroyed due to the force of kinetic energy alone, but that wouldn't be a fun game if that's the point

Could you do a most detailed breakdown of high charity when you have the time
Love the incoming transition part
An all encompassing super video for Infinity...Do you even have to ask?!? Yes please!
Wish me luck boys. About to try to take on Halo 5 legendary. Last campaign I have to beat on legendary. This video will be a nice listen while I play through
Although nothing will beat the pillar of autumn, the infinity comes very very close in my eyes
Fyi given ship naming conventions the Autumn Class Cruisier, named after the Pillar of Autumn. Will have it's first ship be named "UNSC Autumn" in honor of the original
@@sam8742 cool
@@suffer4444
The more you know
@@sam8742 the Autums must be so stupidly bulky, if the PoA tanked so much the Autums with shields probably outmatch a Covenant Counterpart in durability.
@@alexisbaz8746
Yeah, the strange looking corridors you see in halo ce are the result of the armor.
The ship is designed to tank.
Halo infinite gives an entirely new meaning of "breakdown" to the Infinity. ;D
Installation 00: Here's why the Infinity can slap your girls ass and you can't do anything about it.
Halo 4 having a ton of screen tears: COMMENCE THE JIGGLING
23:39 what the hell was that face. Anyone else see that?
23.40ish what’s what the weird face thing , it’s right after you talk about the drop pods , and not even on screen for a second
Heh, the face at 23:38 had me laughing
The scale of their frigates alone from halo reach will give you a glimpse how big infinity is
Built for War, repurposed for PEACE. LOL, that didn't last long.
My favorite ship in any franchise ever is the UNSC Infinity
What about The Spirit of Fire ?.
More useful to this behemoth? The 1700 Spooks? Or the 8 Goks? Never mind, not even a question... 😂
The Infinity's Huragok Geek Squad:
Quick To Adjust (Of course)
Hits Like Brick
Payback's A Biotch
Slits Elite Throats
Eff Covey Bombs
Eats Brute Entrails
and of course, Sweet William, son of Quick to Adjust, and Hunting Rock King, son of Lighter Than Some. 🤣
Yes, post-war naming conventions for them have changed. 🙂
All can be found on the Engineering Deck, or in the gym with their sacs all blowed up and being beaten like war drums, as they toss around Spartan IVs effortlessly. 🤣🤣🤣
Oh shit I just had a dream about this last night!!
Welcome back iconic vid
Hey, that’s hiddenexperia's line
@@suffer4444 Inspiration was obtained, yes

Yes, mutli hour all inclusive video please!
I would love a multi hour super cut!!!
23:38 ; And there is that face thing again, like in the prior Infinity video.
I get it's spooky month- but I was not expecting that jumpscare
I got a question. Why doesn’t the UNSC use graphene instead of metals because graphene is a super material that could at least shield the ship from one plasma bolt, and graphene is super strong and light, and it’s electronically conductive so when a plasma bolt hits it it would distribute the heat and power of it all over the ship as a protection, it also could be used as a power booster to power the shields back up.
A supercut, covering everything to a map, would be great.
So what's going on at 23:39
How big are the series 8 MACs? You can fly a Pelican or a Broadsword up the barrel with several meters to spare.
When you saw Infinity. Where you blinded by it's magitsy? Dumbfounded? No noble higher arcs. With that said. What a ship and a monster of a warship. (Suddenly plays Ludacris move $#@&th) when smashing covenant warship. When put in context and the shear size of this ah hem.......warship reposed from the original plans. Deck envy not withstanding. Your first thought is whole #@&$!!!! Dam this is what I got to get into? The shear thought of how massive of this was ever built. Take that nukeler aircraft carriers. Once again great work and content. The lore matter has given us all lore we can understand. Also this man is building a real spartan armor none shielded from the current technology just to be useful for all backwards technology in all that apply to it. Please go and help this genius get this done. As always standing by 5-5. Find peace in the domain.
Hey!
Huge fan! Being watching your videos since the pillar of autumn collab! Love the scientific explanations!
A quick feedback. I think the reference to the archives e.g. “father details on … can be found on…” seems to break up the flow of the video. It can work when there is only a few reference but when there are too many the repetition makes it a bit weird to listen to. Maybe just attach a link on top of each topic already on archive and give a heads up in beginning of the video to see link above.
Just my personal opinion
The Infinity is NOT the only ever UNSC to have a shield generator. The Strident is the only other one.
the funny thing is that in a reality were things like FTL travel exist the UNSC doesn't really need an army to invade and or destroy the covenant just point something at that planet with enough mass and shoot it at a velocity of speed of light and that planet will be destroyed due to the force of kinetic energy alone, but that wouldn't be a fun game if that's the point
Incredible work as always, wondering when you'll tackle the challenge of a prowler?
I’m geniunely confused as to why a military expedition ship needs a zoo
Awesome video, keep up the amazing content!
Wait, by forerunner standard she classifies as a destroyer? Jesus christ.
I hope human can build the technological marvels like this one day
We will.
23:39, incredible photo but it took me to much time to pause and see it
