@@stefancristian4324 yes, Part 7 hasn't been animated yet, so it's still a Manga. Technically you're coming from a Manga of JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Steel Ball Run. Not an Anime yet.
Absolutely! However I think it says more about you. Young or old if you have soul and the ear for great music you just have it. I’m 35 now and remember being 17 and for sure enjoyed this kind of music then and forever. Shouts out to the OJAYS for being dope!
It's always a joy when young people appreciate the old school classics! Your enjoyment of this music says a lot about you, too! When we go a bit deeper, we realize that for this to be a favorite song, for any of us (and it is one of mine), also says a great deal about the talents of the producers/songwriters (Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff), the arranger Bobby Martin and the MFSB orchestra. I'm speaking, of course, of the original recording. The O'Jays put the cherry on top! BTW, the next time you watch this video, watch and listen to the string section. It's always hard to take eyes off the charismatic Eddie Levert (only a string section can make that happen for me), but watching the violinists' contribution to this wonderful song heightens the enjoyment. The female player nearest Eddie is especially interesting to watch, the way she feels the drive of the rhythm and expresses it in the way she attacks the strings. In all likelihood she (like all of them) was classically trained, but I think she has a bit of blue-eyed soul in her. The violinist next to her also appears to be enjoying herself. It never ceases to amaze me that a violin can produce those lush rhythmic sounds by pulling a bow across a set of strings! It's so thrilling!
Gotta love David Letterman. He always had great artists on his show and he gave so many a chance when others wouldn't. Thanks, for all those great years Dave - we miss you!!!!
I remember seeing these guys on "Soul Train," multiple times and watching the kids do dance contests to them! I am so glad to see them all together, alive, well and still at it!
