Two of the GREATEST groups in MOWTOWN history!! SUPERB
Bryce Tsukishima Probably the two great groups of all time. I know the Beach Boys are up there but I have The Four Tops at the 1, Temptations at 2, and BB at 3.
John MILLER I have the temptations at #1, The 4 Tops at #2 and BB at #3
Sorry, guys, I just can't separate the 3 of them!!!
Bryce Tsukishima
Hi John, agree with your number 1 and 2 - but then you have loads more soul groups to add after the Tops & Temps - KTF
One of the greatest performance ever!!
From the great iconic “Motown 25 - Today, Tomorrow, Forever” TV Special -
A million years ago.
What can we do to bring this type of music back? So innocent and sweet.
Yes YES AND YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! Had the unique honor of seeing this in person as well as on TV!
I have seen them as well...❤
Motown is the place where music was born. Motown forever. You never see something like this nowadays.
Being from Detroit......Smokey killed Motown . You are on point.
Why do you place the blame on Smokey?
Lacy Swallows Why? What's the scoop?
Motown is great, but there was music before it. So, yeah, kind of a silly claim.
MOTOWN IS HAPPY-SUMMER-TIME/ANY TIME MUSIC.... PROUD TO BE FROM THE D...
One of the greatest singing groups ever....thank you for sharing the love
Rest in Peace, Dennis Edwards! Lord knows you were so gifted with that beautiful voice! God Bless you and your Temptations!
He did not come to play!
Motown best music ever🎉🎉🎉
Between the audiences reactions and these men jammin and enjoying themselves I smiled throughout this whole performance. As a millennial I wish that I could’ve been alive during these moments. It’s amazing and beautiful to see. ❤️
I saw this show when it aired. It WAS epic. From this performance to Michael Jackson's moonwalk debut. People also forget this show was the Jackson 5 reunion and michael and Jermaine had been estranged for years before this show.
There was obviously so much love between Dennis & Levi, this performance makes that so clear.
I saw them last week. Go if they come to your area. You will enjoy it!
I couldnt choose my favourite one.All fantastic amazing and authentic. The one song which Ive always loved is Reach out'.which will we played at my funeral!!Thank God for you guysxxx❤️❤️❤️
There was never a vs with these two super groups it was simply an all time get together of magic
TRULY ICONIC TIMELESS SOUL THAT RAISED ME!!!
This gives me a profound feeling of happiness and joy! A point of critic: this performance should continue for hours.
The best part of that whole performance’s is the embrace at the end it shows the amount of love they have for each other, and the lesson we can all learn about competition and respect for each other..😊
The Four Tops and The Temptations...ALL OUT WAR!!! THIS IS CRAZY!!! I LOVE IT!!!
Gotta love that Motown Sound❤
Other than Mike and The Jackson 5, The Temptations/Four Tops Review was one of the highlights of the show
Pure talent and class right here! I especially love Levi Stubbs. What a handsome and talented man. No artist or group today can compare to the legendary Temptations or Four Tops. Love them both. Motown forever!
Feeling very sad today. I sat and watched my favorite groups forever. Feel much better. I am almost 70 Levi Stubbs, Blue, Otis, and Dennis always bought a smile to my face. Motown Forever! Thank you, Berry Gordy.
Love the unity, the words, the respect & most of all their dance techniques their style was impeccable they had SWAG. If this was introduced to the rap culture deaths & violence would be no more 😢🎉
Wonderful. Simply wonderful. I've loved Motown since early 1960' s. These two groups, together with The Supremes, Marvin, Tammi, Martha and her Vandellas, Stevie, and a host of others, make it worthwhile getting up in the morning. Motown occupies a huge chunk of my life, and my heart. Play it every day. Thank you Mr. Gordy, from this ancient white man.
PS. I actually got to see Stevie Wonder, and The Temptations, live, in Wales. What great performers they all are.
Can't wait to see this show in the Netherlands soon🥳🥳
The golden era of music . I wasn’t born in that era but I know music when I hear, see and feel music, that particular frequency hits the soul.
There will never be music like this again
"Just like the old days" ? These Magnificent, Talented, True Artists, are: Timeless.
Is this the beginning of the versuz battles.that was badazz, nothing but love here, amazing music, amazing lives.i wish my life had been even half that amazing.
Absolute awesome the lot of them now that is TALENT . And may the guys who have sadly passed away from the Temps and four tops may they all rest in peace and thanks so much for your sensational songs
There is a lot of great music in heaven!
Now today one of the Isley Brothers also left us. R.I.P.
It wasn't around late 70s I could finally afford buying a car. It was a 1957 chevy. I turned it into a lowrider and my first song in my cassette player was ( My Girl) by the Temptations. Boy I love that car as much as I love the song. Now at 65, still listen to this hits.
Ron Tyson's first performance with the temptations..... WOW
Legendary performance I remember watching it live….. Nothing like this today 2024
Dennis Edwards swagger is unmatched. You can just see he was a next level star ⭐️. Levi too!
In my youth Motown imprinted and here I am 76 still loving it
This brought tears to my eyes- Loved them so long ago.
This was amazing. Jam after jam, hit after hit, classic after classic.
OMG, that was so good!!!! Bravo to two the greatest groups in history. The Temptations know they were so slick, still are but wow back then. Yes!!!
Lucky! I’m so happy! 🤩Just bought two of the last tickets for October for "The Temptations and Four Tops - Magic Motown Moments Live 2022" in Berlin/Germany. It's going to be great!
They were having to much fun I wish I could have been there ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
