Thanks for this. I bought beachy blonde also and it’s bit too yellow. I have tape ins. Should of done this while they were out. Can’t wait to wash my hair and tone them to icy to match my hair.
If you try this make sure to use a sulfate free shampoo or just water ans purple hair dye the suds in the shampoo will make your extensions dry and break off n fall apart in months...
You will only have to tone them once in a great while, it’s not recommended to wash extensions often, also the redken one was a purple conditioning mask and won’t strip the extensions 🙂
search youtube, you need RIT or a couple other dies, alcohol and actually DIE it whiter with purples, which cancels yellow, like on a color wheel, opposites there, which does the same with teeth and purple correctors that counter and whiten yellow.
No the extension will fade back as you wash them! It works like a toner for the extensions, it’ll last awhile depending on how often you wash your hair extensions 🙂

Fanola turned mine super purple! I had to strip the purple out.

Can you do this with blonde mix brown extensions?
I have the invisible ones. Will the strip tone too? I’m worried the strip will stay yellow.

This technique makes my extensions super spotty and the shade uneven. I think I'll just try toner on them.. 😅
