I just bought a Minton China set at a thrift shop, 6 places settings for under $200, it's a gold rimmed pattern that has been discontinued so I'm going to try to resell them. You answered my question about whether I should sell at the whole set or the pieces. You got a new sub.
That is a lot of Glass Kat, I have a little just to see. I have China listed and was not complete. So I listed it individual, Just in case one broke in shipping I could send out another. Experiment! Let me know how yours work out
Thanks :-) They're all photos I took in my front yard or on daycations close to home :D So I took all photos and came up with the words but someone else edited it together. I'm not good at all that fancy smancy stuff :D Thanks for watching Josh!
My favorite is the little Brussels pitcher, very cute. Thanks so much for all the information. All you do and share is very informative and appreciated.
There's alot of brands that it's crazy single plates sell for 20+ and if you get a set of 40 pieces for 20 bucks or something can't really go wrong! Thanks for watching Harry
I've seen that Taylorstone retro design plates on ebay. I love those retro designs especially in drink/bar accessories. That is awesome that everything is labeled....saves a lot of time in having to look it up. People buy bundles of milk glass vases for weddings...I have a lot of it from my Mom's estate but just can't part with it yet. Thanks for all the info!
@@TheNurseFlipper thank you. I will do that. Since I can’t send you pictures these are the patterns I have so you can look them up. Mikasa Windsor Castle, royal Albert old country roses, and Lenox autumn. They are almost all complete and in excellent condition. The Windsor castle I have is 18 place setting.
So what do you need to get a Florida resale license? Do you need to have an LLC or just can you apply. All my stuff is registered to state of Florida to include license vehicles even though I'm stationed in Texas.
I don't do any appraisals, I recommend looking up the brand and pattern on eBay for current prices. Also, if you don't know the pattern you can use google lens to try to identify that way you c an look up
A sales tax certificate. Legally anyone selling should have one and you should charge your buyers sales tax at a minimum in your own state. So when you purchase items at auctions etc you show your certificate and you don't pay the sales tax because you will be collecting it when you sell the items.
@@nextchapter4013 You're welcome. Alot of states now ebay and amazon collect for those states so there would be nothing to file but unfortunately FL is not one of them :(

The Nurse Flipper I picked up two McCoy cookie jars at my local auction. One for $5 and $15. Also picked up a ‘64 70 piece Noritake full set for $20. That’s for my house though.

Does this stuff really sell on eBay? I have a 18 place setting China and I see people are already selling the same pattern on eBay. Do they sell?
Filter the search to sold to see what has sold in the last 90 days of your pattern

I am pretty sure I applied online if you search florida resales certificate. You don't have to have an LLC (I hadn't formed mine when I got mine)
@@TheNurseFlipper okay awesome I know that it opens up a lot more opportunities to other items and tax exempt so I'm very curious
What about fine bone China? How much could that sell for individually for some tea cups maybe?
Depends all on name and pattern some doesn't sell some for hundreds

What’s a resellers certificate?
Is it required by only dealer’s/businesses if you purchase large lots at auction and plan to resell??
A sales tax certificate. Legally anyone selling should have one and you should charge your buyers sales tax at a minimum in your own state. So when you purchase items at auctions etc you show your certificate and you don't pay the sales tax because you will be collecting it when you sell the items.
