- Pokémon Stadium was fun to replay but could be infuriating at times. Overall a groundbreaking game that I'm still impressed with to this day.

I still remember as kid yelling at the tv, “how did hydro pump miss Snorlax? LOOK HOW BIG HE IS!!!!”
He just rolled over in his sleep at exactly the right moment I guess lol
I remember realizing for the first time why turnbased games seem to unsatisfying to me.. they can't AIM at each other. you never get to see them both in frame as the attack goes off, because that would be way too complex to program
I'm told they finally got this by Pokemon XD, but for here, it's just like yeah yeah, attack goes off, cut, attack hits.. yawn. How can it miss etc, total disconnect.
I played on a friends old 64 over the holidays. He never played Pokemon competitively. I remember him getting pissed all my Mons moved first. I understood the speed stat lmao.
So the cheat that the AI uses, in reference to your mentions of the player's accuracy vs the CUP's, works pretty simply. The CPU picks what move it will use AFTER checking if it will hit. So the game decides if the CPU's Fire Blast will hit or miss, BEFORE it happens. If it's decided to be a miss, the CPU won't use it. If it decided to be a hit, the CPU will use it. When the player chooses to use an inaccurate move, it's a gamble. But it's never a gamble for the CPU. People who have disassembled the game's code have figured that out in recent years.
Ahhhh gotchya. Thank you for letting me know. So basically they're playing poker with all the cards revealed.
wow! 😮
My channel features a TON of Pokémon stadium content, it’s been decades since I upload Pokémon stadium content since it’s one of my fav childhood games, and I knew this beforehand.
You can easily spot the cheating because sometimes the AI do questionable plays and sometimes use moves that will utterly fail should a human player tries to replicate it, but conveniently if the AI does it, the in accurate attack connect, you also get critted and also the secondary effect triggers. For example AI’s thunderbolt connecting, it crits you and then paralyzes you, all in a convenient fashion.
If this were true, wouldn't this mean the CPU would never miss because they'd only use attacks that hit? But that's definitely not the case.
@@TrillyanaThey sometimes get all misses.
God hearing that announcer's voice again after all these years just shot pure adrenaline through my body. ⚡
I know right it's so good
I've been quoting the Stadium announcer since I played this game as a kiddo. What a legend
I remember first hearing the announcers voice crack yelling "Wah! Taken down with one hit!" for the first time and being stunned 😂
I really felt like a badass
The way I was always chasing him saying “one hit wonder!”
Stadium is such a gem, like pokesnap seeing everyone in 3D with that announcer was an experience back in the day.
idk why but we had Italian voice acted announcer. And it was... something
surfing pikachu was a major w
9:17 for real, even as a Brazilian kid who could barely understand what was said, the announcer made such a difference, it really made the battles more exciting. Playing the GameCube games a few years later felt so bad in comparison.
So glad this came across my recommended. I put HOURS into this game as a kid. A true staple of my childhood. I cant tell you how many times this game made me cry bc of frustration from getting so close to beating the elite 4 or the Stadium master cup & falling short. This game is beyond iconic & im so glad I grew up with this era & getting to play this & experience it in real time. You also couldn’t just google strategy or who to use.
PS: the game totally cheats, this game made me livid as a kid!
I forgot how prevalent OHKO moves were in this game. I feel like I almost never encountered them in RBY but in Stadium every other NPC has one and they always hit 😭😂
Yeah I remember reading in a guide it said “If Gambler keeps getting lucky you won’t stand a chance!” Lol
It’s amazing how an almost 30 year old game plays more smoothly and is more polished than current gen.
It's impossible to convey how mind-boggling this was back in the day. It was SO REAL. But unlike other "realistic" games, it aged like fine wine. It still looks great and makes you wonder how they pulled this off with the limited hardware, at 60 FPS.
Cheers for dropping the announcers name and giving him his flowers. I looked him up and saw he also voiced Bakura from Yu-Gi-Oh! Dudes a legend.
There’s a saying in Pokemon: “If a move isn’t 100% accurate, it’s 50% accurate”
exactly
What I like so much about looking at footage of Stadium/Colosseum/XD/Battle Revolution is how much more Dynamic a Battle feels compared to modern mainline games. Every Pokemon obviously has more individual animations, the Camera moves with the Pokemon, clever used cuts from the attacking Pokemon to the attacked Pokemon give a feeling of weight and Damage to the attack. The Announcer gives off a feeling similar to watching a Champions Leauge Match or something as well. I do recommend Daryl Talks Games Video on the Topic from a couple of years ago, he explains it really well, much better than I ever could
i only got second hand games growing up, so i actually beat the game with rentals as a kid... except for prime cup. someone uploaded thier mew and mewtwo to the cartridge and that helped. then i did it as an adult on the switch. to this day, every machop i catch is named CHAMP-MA because i thought it was so funny as a kid. this game rockes to this day.
Haha hell yeah. The nicknames rule. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate you.
8:52 There I go, instantly back to 1st grade. Back to my best friend's living room where we played this game for HOURS together. Hard to believe I'm still that same person on the inside when everything else changed.
I hope my old friends are doing good for themselves.
1st grade for me 2002, I was 6. Me and my best pal played this for days on end, I'd never even heard of stadium 2.
Me and my buddy used to pick eachothers teams and make them as bad as possible to see who'd win, the ditto and magikarp battles were awful but entertaining when youre that age
@nathansweeneymusic Sounds around the same time frame as me actually lol. We didn't even know 2 existed, either, just kept going with this one every time and even picking each other's teams occasionally like you mentioned. I don't think we ever really got bored of it, just slowly moved on as the GBA and early DS games came out.
it's the only game i ever played with my mom.. Very briefly. I wanted her to try, and she wanted to see what it was about. Afterward she enjoyed it and had this look on her face like... i wasn't supposed to enjoy that.. have i devoted my life to the wrong stuff? this was here all along? better not get hooked..
Pokemon stadium was a godsend for people who didnt have any way to trade. I still couldnt get trade evolutions, but it made moving over version exculsive pokemon possible, as well as getting those extra rare pokemon on a single save.
Also, I loved those mini games. Stadium 1 and 2 had some of my favorite mini game collections of any game ever. Its unfortunate to hear that they're not really worth it on the switch.
Pocket Monsters Stadium is my ultimate antagonist… well… all 3 stadium games are, haha.😂
Don't forget in Yellow you can catch a Pokecup Legal Dragonair
Safari Zone has it as 1% fishing encounter with the Super Rod.
Something for if you do that original hardware challenge you mentioned. It might be quite helpful.
Hell yeah ill jot that down, thank you.
@Livvvid Enjoy your Level 15 Dragonair
I managed to beat Pokémon Stadium back in the day 100% with only a Rental Team and I can't put into words how much pain and suffering this game put me through, mainly through attacks missing multiple times in a row and the computer one shotting me with one hit KO moves like Fissure.
how in the hell did you handle Mewtwo? No matter what I picked, and I mean I tried everything, he OHKO'd everyone on the first turn.
Thanking the UA-cam algorithm gods for your channel
glad we found you
@thekruzcorner same
welcome!
20:59 It's kind of disappointing how there wasn't another new title screen for beating R2. It would be a nice and easy way just to show one of your siblings or friends that you have beaten R2, rather than having to go into the game and show them all your trophies you've won on the stadium cup, and show you have beaten the elite four and gyms. Hell, if you had a younger sibling, they could even make an excuse that you didn't beat the elite four or something like that on r2. Props to Pokemon Stadium 2 for correcting that issue though later on.
Yeah I get that, missing a move can really make you livvvid.
Boy what a knee slapper
This game is what got me hooked on Pokémon forever
I've been hooked forever im 28 now😊
Being able to play the gb games on the tv was the only thing i used this game for. I have fond memories of doing so. Thanks pokemon stadium
Play Pokémon Stadium 2. Go to the place where you fight gym leaders. Advance to the Rocket stage. The first opponent has Pokémon that all know explosion. They one shot everything and the dude talks the worst s**t to you. Still gets under my skin to this day
You could also argue that the devs intentionally made the late stage evolutions weak to incentivise buying the peripherals. Nothing was more frustrating than not being able to win a fight because your evolved Pokémon didn’t hit hard enough, but the pre-evolution was too squishy to win or didn’t have the stats to back up the moves it was given. If you wanted to use a Charizard with flamethrower then you needed to convince your parents to shell out for the transfer pack
It's good logic except the transfer pak came with the game.
@ Ah fair, though if that’s the case then there really was no reason to not just use your own Pokémon except maybe to try out the version exclusives you didn’t have access to. Or in the case where you got Pokémon Stadium but didn’t have Red or Blue, in which case my original point stands lol
Recently found your videos & I've been loving them! I'm just a year younger than you, so following the nostalgia trip has been great. Keep it up!
Hey glad you found me. Thank you for watching my stuff and im eager to bring you more!
Special shout out to the Spanish announcer, some voice lines make it feel like you're watching a fútbol game
hell yeah!
NO MORE DEX CUT IN ALL THE FUTURE POKEMON GAMES!
The nostalgia hits hard in this video
If you think stadium itself is fun and infuriating. Try just finding a transfer pack that works and doesn't erase your saves.
Stadium brings back sooo many school sleepover memories dude!
Oh man, I remember it like it was yesterday! Getting Pokemon Stadium and playing all the minigames and battling out with my own Pokemon in 3D like this was too good!
I’m not going to lie to you my good man… I always froze Mewtwo or brought a team of Horn Drill or Fissure users, haha, but one time I outsmarted Mewtwo’s AI with an Exeggutor; not going to lie I forgot how to spell that because I always call him ナッシー haha. I had to time my sleep powders perfectly and stomp Mewtwo to death before he woke up, haha.
Nice to see SOMEONE else using the real names besides me. Nassy might not be as special a name as 'Exeggutor' but it's a lot less stupid, and the creators get to pick the names, not bill trinen and... actually who came up with those...
lookin it up..
Wait what? _Ogasawara Nob?_ ... whyyy.. well at least he tried to talk them out of 'Mr. Mime' because what if they introduce gender later.. smart guy.
@ Haha, yes! I love those original Japanese names. I’ve always wondered why Charmander’s original name is ヒトカゲ。 Person of Shadow? Shadow person? Haha how could NOB betray us, haha. バリヤード sounds way better than Mr. Mime… haha, and it makes more sense because he makes barriers… haha
The one hit wonder voice line was the best
It looks like your hard work is paying off, man. Keep it up, and please keep streaming!
Absolutely man thank you. You still been streaming?
@@Livvvid Yep! Trying to stream twice a week if I can.
Nothing can beat pokemon in the early 90s
Damn crazy to think this came out about 2 months before my seventh birthday. I'm 32 now and this game is still fun as hell
I genuinely miss these kind of games!
Yeah we get to see these battles 3D full-time now, but long gone is the magic of this or Battle Revolution. I miss going through a game fully, popping my Pokemon into a game, and now I can see my favorite little guys do awesome battle animations.
I know it would be pointless, but I'd love to have a Stadium game where I can pit OC-assigned teams against each other without needing another console
I love that the "liquid hot magma" thing came back. I've only seen two of your videos, and this joke was in both of them. Very clever, Dr. Evil 😂
Haha it's for people like you who catch it . I like doing stuff like that.
Thanks for watching those videos tho I appreciate you.
@Livvvid I actually replayed that part several times in the Pokémon Snap video because it caught me off guard xD
I still have my Pikachu edition N64 by the way, and Pokémon Snap and both Stadiums, and my transfer pak 😂
Lucky. I have my og black 64 but I used to have that transparent green one that came with donkey kong and i have no idea what happened to it unfortunately.
18:20 dude i audibly yelled "HUH?!" when i saw that name lmao i misread it right before you said it lmao
I mainly remember Ted Lewis as the voice of Bakura & evil Bakura in Yugioh
Ted also voiced Giovanni in season 1 of Pokemon and Kevin Mask on Ultimate Muscle lol
He also voiced King Dedede on Kirby right back at ya
I love this game. Spent way too much time playing those mini games with my siblings lol
Oh Hell yeah, Electrode ❤, マルマイン in Japanese, is an absolute GOD.😂
Pokemon Stadium was one of my favorites growing up. I wish you could transfer Pokémon from the virtual GB games
I was born in 1996 and can confirm, my older brother and i shared a gameboy color until i was 5 or 6 when my family got a nintendo 64. Holy shit seeing pokemon stadium the first time is life changing. Probably why im now 28, married with kids but still play showdown and watch pokemon youtube 😂
Hey im 33 join the club haha.
We should be allowed to use rental pokemon with any legal moveset we wanted.
Great video I didn't know that was Ted Lewis voicing the announcer I thought the voice was vaguely familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it lol
Thank you!
Beating Round 2 in both stadiums is the hardest thing IMO of all of the Pokemon games. No game holds a flame to it in its difficulty which I like a lot. The newer games a baby could beat blindfolded.
I think you're right honestly.
Black and white 2 had a clunky hard mode that you needed to jump through hoops to use but they should bring that back.
So something to add on to that comment about the CPU, another youtuber named LambHoot figured out using save states that every accuracy check is determined BEFORE THE BATTLE STARTS. So for example, turn 1 a move will be determined to hit, but turn 2 and 3 are determined to misses. You can bypass these checks by using a move with 100% accuracy as you said, or use Swift that will always hit.
In other words, you can keep abusing save states to see what turns are determined hits or misses and play around that.
I played this a ton in my childhood but I didn't have the main Pokemon games... So it was all Rentals baby! I didn't get far as a kid but I always had fun! Last year I played through all of Round 1 on Switch and while it was tough... It was incredibly satisfying learning and seeing what Rentals were good for which battles and so on. The icing on the cake was using Ditto against Mewtwo ha! I ain trying Round 2 though... But hey, another reward for finishing Round 1 is being able to use a rental Mew (with bad moves) in Free Battle and Prime Cup iirc, and that's pretty cool
Also, GOD help you if you bumped into your transfer pak while it was in use… HOURS of progress potentially GONE… 😂😂😂
So many painful memories of shit getting corrupted 😭😭😭
I like the pic at the end, makes u look like an end boss
While I absolutely love Pokémon Colosseum and still think it's the best 3d Pokémon game (because I'm wearing my nostalgia glasses pretty much 24/7 and refuse to play any of the new Switch games), I'm still sad that we never got a Pokémon Stadium 3.
I miss being a kid. Playing Pokémon Stadium for the first time, transferring my Pokémon from Red and Yellow to the game. It was magical. I don't think kids today have anything that compares to this.
What is a fortnite skin of a random celebrity compared to seeing your beloved Pokémon in 3d for the first time, sitting with your friends in your bed room and battling on the big screen.
Look at this...over 4K subs, thousands of views in the first day of uploading this...your grind is starting to pay off, brother! I'm excited to see you continue to reap the rewards for your hard work!
Thank you see otter I appreciate you. And yes idk what I'de do if it was all for nothing haha. But the responses have been great and it's really a blast.
I'm shocked this game didn't allow normal type moves to hit ghost pokemon, when it's the CPU using the move.
I absolutely loved playing this at a friend's house back in the day. I was the only one with a Playstation instead of a N64, which, in hindsight, I'm glad I had the opportunity/gaming past I had, and that I got to taste N64 at events, sleepovers, etc.
And I'm glad I have and N64, and physical copy of this game now + Transfer Pak, and a CRT TV. CRT is king. Still.
Yup that was the great divide as kids. Most of us only got 1 console and yeah it seemed like all of my friends had nintendo and there was only like 1 kid with playstation products so they were a novelty and it was fun going over there and watching them show us games.
but I get what you mean about having your unique experience. I'm glad I had nintendo products but I always wonder what it would have been like to have had PS growing up.
I agree 110% with the accuracy claim, lol. This game is hard with rental
AND THERE GOES THE BATTLE
The vid and edits are good man. Hell yeah to nostalgia
I appreciate that thank you. It's a one man operation and I've had to teach myself a lot the last few months so thank you for that.
Good vid to eat dinner too
Fly on up, Dig on down, nice one EAD.
I'll say something I didn't mention back during the streams. Although I was present for almost all of your Stadium streams, I was always at work, so I wasn't looking at the screen most of the time (taking some time out to see Raichu sweep Misty and leave comments aside) and your streams still kept me glued. Hopefully that's welcome news.
Considering how much the status moves screwed you over and how much you struggled with the limitations of the rental Pokemon towards the end, I think I'd be interested to see you go through Stadium again but with your own Pokémon, just to see if it gets any easier and/or less infuriating when you have more control over your tactics; knowing that they're your Pokémon will probably also strengthen our emotional attachment to them, especially if they perform well. That said, I always feel bad that the only suggestions I give you for future videos are Pokémon, since you want to do a variety of things, so I'll say a few games that come to mind, just so you have options to consider:
- Jak and Daxter 1 (just to see if the final stage really does resemble Ganon's Tower, like I mentioned during the OoT stream; however, I don't think the game has much reverence these days)
- Dust: An Elysian Tail (I think the game is pretty good and it's interesting to know they intended to make a big series out of it; kind of obscure with little relevance today, though)
- Dragon Ball: Kakarot (Since you like DB and I think this game isn't a fighting game; but I don't think it was very well-received in its day and nobody talks about it now)
- Any Dynasty Warriors (not very familiar with the series, but it was fun from what little I played and is kinda evergreen relevant, even if it's never the most hyped thing in the world)
- Heavy Rain (because it's SO DIFFERENT from what you've been doing so far and the gameplay isn't complicated; seems like you need multiple playthroughs to get your money's worth, though, and I don't have the heart to do playthroughs that don't get happy endings, so not a strong recommendation)
Back to Stadium, there's something I noticed in the video. When you put some character models on-screen, there would be some kind of visual glitch where parts of the Pokemon were visible hovering around themselves, like when you showed Electrode, Moltress by themselves and the three Eevees. Also, during the part where you say how the game would land 50% accurate moves all the time, the footage you show is of you landing some hit or another (not 50% move, but still one of your own); in future videos, I think it might be more impactful if you show footage of the game doing the thing you're pointing out as you mention it, if you have the footage of it (which you certainly did with the Stadium cheating). Otherwise, cool video and well-done!
Thanks for the feedback. The visual glitches of the GIFs is beyond my understanding unfortunately. I could have found ones that werent as apparent. But yeah the part about showing a move landing could be an improvement to correlate to what im saying.
If they would have just made the switch version compatable with the virtual console gb games it would have been an absolute game changer
I WANT that so bad but I don't think it will ever happen.
@Livvvid yeah unfortunately which is sad as on the 3ds they were able to make the gb titles compatable with modern transfer methods. So its not that they couldnt do it. They just dont want to. Im sure they have their reasons but it is a bummer lol
Great video, gonna go back and watch the lives :)
Thank you anna!
lmao the title of the video followed by the channel name being "livid" checks out hahaha
I was such trash as a kid - I never even made it past Sabrina in Pokémon Stadium 😄
It been so long playing this game back in the old day 😅
I dont know why you uploaded, but thanks you sir! love me so me good pokimon
The other weekend I played an emulation of Stadium 2. Wish I could go back to the mini games with friends as a child haha. Other than that I did enjoy the team building, crazy these had been the only games where you could choose from the entire dex and have a team without the grind. I think I personally liked Colosseum the most, for its story mostly.
Clafable was the goat when it came to multi-player.
5:06 that's youngster Joey's Rattata
My friends and I quite liked this game but were never blown away by it. Like Snap we played it a bit and then just went back to replaying the handheld games again. Take away the nostalgia and many of these N64 releases were very quick, content light games.
The minigames were legit though, it was a great idea to include them and they really carried the replayability of this game.
Look at those animations and cries. The announcer and music is great too. Disappointed the Switch Games don’t have at least an announcer for gym battles. It would make those generations way more immersive
I just beat this game with Rentals, it took me a long time lol. Really hard game if you can’t use the features on an emulator. Beating R2 felt like an accomplishment that’s for sure. Great video!
Thank you! Good job btw.
I did the work to get Surf on my Pikachu - I wanted to unlock the surfing mini-game on Yellow! I think you actually had to beat second stage Mewtwo with it too (thank Arceus for rental Electrode getting Thunder Wave)
Graphically it may look more impressive now but the way the pokemon moved , the moves the animation of everything far beats anything they do now
Yeah you actually caught what I was meaning. Some people thought I meant the movements themselves are better now and that's not what I meant. Its like you said, the rendering is better but stadium had much more atmosphere and animations with life for each pokemon.
The animations are so bland considering what they're capable of.
Would love to see you tackle Pokémon Stadium 2. I remember requesting it for Xmas as a kid and being disappointed, because I assumed it would come with the transfer pack (like Donkey Kong 64 game with the RAM expansion pack). I still had a ton of fun with it, even with the awful rental Pokémon.
Keep it up, your content is fantastic. Do Pokemon puzzle League next
I appreciate you cole. Thats for sure on the list. Trying to round out the gen 1 and 2 side games before getting into 3.
@@Livvvid sounds great, I'll I've enjoyed every video so far. Looking forward to gen 2.
omg puzzle league is so good i still play it to this day when i get sick with a cold.
god i miss these games
Oh yeah man, these games CHEAT… HARD… haha. 😂Okay, I’m still watching, but I wanted to add that. The rentals in pocket monsters stadium 1 had way better moves, but that meta is super tight. *COUGH* TAUROS *COUGH*😂
nah i love the comments from you. thanks for watching and interacting
@ Super cool! I just rebranded my channel and thought you wouldn’t recognize me! 😶🌫️ Great video!
So, the battle tower before it was introduced in Gen II, lol...
Good watch! Stadium 2 next please
on the list for sure! thanks for watching
gota gym'em all pikamon!🔌
The rng seems to screw the player over because in the gameboy games the foe had an additional chance to fail things like status moves outside of just the accuracy. Playing Pokemon Gold you'd think the RNG is just low chances, but in reality they have additional fail chances.
My channel features a TON of Pokémon stadium content, it’s been decades since I upload Pokémon stadium content since it’s one of my fav childhood games.
I wanted to clarify that the rentals are deliberately terrible so as to incentivize players to bring their own pokemons using the Transfer Pak. With your own pokemons, this game ain’t difficult at all.
Hey man, Im sure you saw but I used portions of your mewtwo video because my own gameplay video was 24+ hours and it was having issues rendering lol.
I think some of it is also balancing among the rentals. My logic about how often the lower evo's have good movies was so consistent we were calling out certain moves before we'd even seen the stat sheet because the logic kept applying.
@@Livvvid Yeah, I noticed my footage being used, and I really appreciate you giving proper credit for it! lol. I really enjoyed watching this vid. Regarding rentals, some modern Pokémon Stadium ROM hacks have taken it upon themselves to boost the rentals and give them proper, competent movesets. I have a personal project idea that I haven’t worked on due to a lack of free time and changing priorities. So, anyone willing to step up and take on the idea would be appreciated.
What I’d like to see is a Pokémon Stadium ROM hack where both the rentals and opponent Pokémon have maxed-out stats, and the rentals have competent movesets, perhaps largely inspired by Smogon. All opponents can keep their teams, Pokémon, and movesets the same, but everything (and everyone) should have maxed legal stats. This would create a more equal ground and balanced experience, as the player wouldn’t be at a disadvantage. As an FYI, rentals have zero Effort Values (EVs), so the AI ends up with Pokémon that have higher overall stats and better movesets, putting the player at an inherent disadvantage.
The good Ole days, back when Alabama was 6-6
Sec reference, nice.
Stadium was a really great game because it landed during the early 3D, so seeing 3D models that were once limited by Gameboy was something amazing, but I guess it was the only context it could, because depending on rentals only was pain. But I guess that also explains why was Mewtwo was a villain in Super Smash Bros Meelee (or paired with villains)
Let's go Stadium!
Shoutout to the Chads who named their pokemon ACOOLTENT, CHOKEMA, and OWFEAR.
I dont get it?
The announcer, the scale of the Pokemon, and the animations in this game gave it so much personality compared to the modern games. Though realistically scaling a Wailord vs Cutiefly fight, recording multiple voice lines for every move in the modern games, and creating interesting and memorable animations for moves seems like an immense undertaking that Pokemon wouldn't be able to justify since the game would become outdated as soon as the next entry adds new moves and Pokemon.
If you do go back to 100% this game on original hardware, I fully recommend using all of the glitches that gen 1 had. The Mew Glitch can help you get trade evos and other rare Pokemon, and item duplication should allow you to get as many copies of TMs as you want rather than just having the normal 1 copy for most of them.
And I don't know how hard you want to go into making rosters for each of the game's different modes, but if you look on Bulbapedia, it's possible to get legitimate copies of Pokemon for things like the Pika Cup that normally aren't available in rentals, though they often require very specific circumstances to get your hands on. I love hunting for Pokemon that the game never intended for you to get, and the fact that you can use special Pokemon as long as you know how to get them feels special.
The metapod minigame was the best
I'm now starting to become pretty fascinated by the older games again (I stopped playing pokemon after playing Diamond & Pearl).
Still have the N64 from my childhood with all the pokemon games. Ordered a CRT, gameboy color and the pokemon games.
Idk man... the old stuff had so much character and these games bring peace to my mind.
You aren't alone. It's pretty obvious the passion and attention to detail starts to fade as you get closer to current times. Even the battles in stadium felt lively and fun with the announcer and camera angles. Their 3D counterparts over a decade later still couldn't recreate it.
I would definitely like to see you play on og hardware and definitely get that surfing pika lol
sick vid
thanks man. excited to bring oyu more.
I never did fully beat Stadium 1 and 2 R2 modes, was a kid also back then, but still have the hardware except the special cables needed like you mentioned in your video.
Only problem is I think the batteries on my games are most likely dead but wonder if I'll be able to get those special adapters and backup the save files.
I beat Prime Cup with Jynx. She's fast. Use her kiss move (I forgot what it's called) to put the opponent to sleep and then kill them
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
I can proudly say with my own pokemon I 100% this game. Yeah even round 2. It was so hard tho!
Great job man
@@Livvvidthanks man!
