Thank You. I appreciate you supporting the channel! I try and hit everything. Some people are not big on Torque Value’s, but I feel it’s real important. My “nice and tight” is going to be different from someone else’s “nice and tight” I’ve learned my lesson the hard way haha.
Thanks for sharing. Taking off and replacing a rear fender can seem intimating...however, if you take your time it all comes together just fine. Ride safe and enjoy.
did i miss the part where you used the hogworks antenna reloaction brackets or was that not in the video? harley sells an antenna relocation kit but id rather not use it if i dont have to.
So I did not use the relocation brackets, because I removed the entire antenna wiring. I’m relocating it to the fairing. I never use the radio, so I haven’t gotten around to it
Put one hog works stretched fender on my 2022 road glide standard, reef blue, paint match was great, but had nothing but problems with the light, went with a set of pro beams form custom dynamics, it’s all good now love the fender but not the lights
I want to thank you for making another great video. I had to use your guidelines to replace my stock fender with a carbon fiber one. And appreciated every detailed step. Thank you. You’re doing a great job.
How would you compare that rear fender with the Advanblack rear fender. I’m planning on replacing my rear fender, I have the hogworkz stretched saddle bags already.
I haven’t used any AdvanBlack products, so I can not say which one is better. HogWorkz products are great, color-match is spot on, and the paint quality is amazing.
Is it stretch exactly 5 inches? The reason why I’m asking is. I have 5 inch stretch bags now with a 5 inch rear fender. Extension Stretched Filler now and like the look of the one peace El Dorado fender but it has to be stretch 5 inches so the question is, is it 5 inches?
These fenders are cool but definitely could have been designed better when it comes to the writing. The way the fender sits on my bike, it’s super close to the tire on one side and so the wiring is a little too close for comfort to the tire and with a passenger it might even rub. Maybe its an issue on my end, not sure but other than that I love the fender. Kinda flimsy though.
It’s the same with the stock fender, so there is really no difference. The way you route your wires is key. You do run the risk of them rubbing if they are right above the tire.
Oh gotcha yea where the wire sits now I had no other option then to wire how it is cause that’s where it splits into the plug for the light but it’ll be good we added extra protection around the wire
Great video like always. I love how you actually tell ppl torque values. There is so many mechanic type channels that doesn’t include these specs.

The bloopers will never get old 😂
Not too many on this one, but just enough haha

I would have to get down there and measure, but I believe they are just under 5”. But not very noticeable
