Kinda on the fence getting this. Decent unit, but want to know more about the new 200w panel. Tell Jackery you need one for a review video plz.
I can try but no guarantee that we can get one for another review anytime soon.
Based off what I see on Jackery's website the 200W panel is about the same size as the 100W when folded, and weighs about 5 lbs/2.5kgs more. So it saves on a bit of space and if you have two 200W panels you can double the solar input without having to get any extra adapters. This 1000V2 can take up to 400W of solar. The 200W panels have a higher higher water resistant rating of IP68 vs IP65. It is over 2.3x as expensive (for only 2x watts) though if purchased outside of the bundle so that is something to consider too.
I can say for sure that we do like our 100W panels and consistently get 175W when using both throughout the day when it's full sun and we're in the Northeast US.

I have no affiliation with Jackery - but in my experience everything they say about the power station here is true. (I don’t have the solar panels)
For me the fact that it can charge that fast and still be super quiet is awesome.
Customer service was really helpful too. It’s a legit product and company.

EDIT* I Love the Jackery 1000 v2. But it wont recharge from regular 12v car plug via aftermarket plugs. It only works with a jackery cord plugged into it. The work around I found was that if you plug the aftermarket 12v plug into the "L" plug that comes with the Jackery solar panel, then it would charge! It served me well for 4+ weeks on the road. I am going to order a jackery cord soon.

That’s odd. Ours charges just fine from our 12V outlet. Check your fuses or try a different outlet
@@Meghanandmattdo you happen to have a link to the cable you use for that? I don’t see any on the Jackery website for sale. Also do you connect it to the bottom DC input port or the top input port? Or does it matter which one you connect to?

I've had the same problem. I've now ordered one that specifies a DC8020 input to see if that will work. The link below to Amazon is a DC 7909 so I'm not sure it would work. The one I ordered says it is compatible with the Explorer 1000 but doesn't specify V2 which it does not work with. How did you plug in the aftermarket 12V to the solar cord? My solar cord has a unique plug that only fits the solar panel input?

@@Meghanandmatt Well you asked... Jackery is constantly comparing this to THEIR own older model, not the industry leaders.
"It charges 7 times faster! It has LiFePO4 batteries! 1500w! 3000w surge!"
EcoFlow, Anker, Bluetti, etc have all been doing this (and better) for YEARS and they seem to leapfrog each other and innovate while Jackery is always playing catch up. Even Chinese alphabet soup brand named power stations on Amazon or even Ali Express would look good compared to Jackery's V1
But I get it. I'd like it too if I was paid or got it free 😂
You didn’t mention anything what’s not to like, just that it’s a comparison to a previous model. If you have specifics and don’t just name drop competitors like every other person who talks down on Jackery I’m down to hear them but you sound like every other person who just wants to complain about Jackery sponsored videos
