#jackery #ecoflow #delta2
You are one of the few honest people left in this world!!.👍🏼
Such a shame that Jackery doesn’t recognize that all companies should stand ready to hear all opinions, so they can make good changes and stay competitive. As I was researching, I noticed another company responded correctly when another reviewer noted some cons. The CEO recorded a short video stating that he appreciated the honest review and planned to get busy making improvements to assure the customer that they are interested in what the customer actually wants. A good opportunity for growth! ☺️
"As I was researching, I noticed another company responded correctly...", yet doesn't bother to let anyone know who the other 'company' is. Thus you are just as shameful as jackery.
Good for your stand your ground. Don't let anyone censor you. Btw I'm looking at buying the Delta 2 over the Jackery pro. Thanks for your video comparison and your opinion. 😊
Any company that will send you products with NO strings attached has total faith in what they're selling. I have respect for all companies that do that. Some companies take suggestions from reviews and integrate them in future products.
There is nothing so strong or safe in an emergency of life as the simple truth.
You are a good person, and I appreciate that.
Thank you a lot.
I appreciate your honesty about what Jackery did. Personally I like EcoFlow, Bluetti, and Zendure power stations over Jackery.
I just learned about Zendure, sounds like they want me to review the new units that are on Kickstarter. Have you seen them yet? superbase-v.kckb.st/0c644718
Even Anker tbh ! Anker has some good power stations
@@DownGridSurvival I own the Zendure SuperBase Pro 1500 and used it during Hurricane Ian. Yes, I have the Zendure Kickstarter SuperBase Pro V4600 with single satellite battery combo on order already. Price per watt hour is really good on that combo.
@@julierosow5545 Yes it is, its an amazing deal. I purchased my Delta Pro and extra battery on Kickstarter. I'm in Manatee county. It served us well during Ian.
@@julierosow5545 - Oupes has some quite good units, too, it seems.
Wow, I was going to buy a Jackery battery set and have been heavily researching that brand and came across your video which now I've changed my mind. Thank you for your honesty and it took courage to no. Happy holidays.
Had exactly the same. bought the Ecoflow.
Same here
Same here too
Hey, just an honest question why were you going to buy the Jacory to begin with if you have done your research? Or maybe you’re saying that you didn’t because of doing your research. But the Jacory is clearly inferior and I don’t know why they don’t just bring their product up the specs Every time I see a video and Somers got a Jacory and it used it not a review video but some of it on to Jackie I think why did they buy that? Why did they buy an Eco flow or a blue Eddie.
Too late I got the Jackery and I love it....😂😂😂
You are what all social media influencers and even new media should emulate! Good for you for sticking to your principles to be a fair but honest reviewer. I've subscribed as a result. Well done.
Thank you so much for your kindness.
Very impressed with your honesty.
Thanks for sharinf the video. Made me realize how the Delta 2 is such a better buy in terms of charge cycles, capacity and ease of use.
I recently bought a delta 2 and got some free solar panels when I was buying a smart panel for a job. Love it so far, have used it to run an Iceco AC/DC fridge in our Jeep, boat and bus. I have also used it to recharge some large 8 d batts and batts in diesel trucks as well as some weekends on the boat keeping 2 small fridges running. It’s nice to not worry about spoiled food or ice for drinks when it’s over 100 degrees, it charges quickly and Works great. the iPhone app… amazingly adjustable and is more useful then you would think .
Thank you for your honesty. This confirms what I've long suspected.
I appreciate your honor and dignity... Thank you for being a good person.
Good for you for standing up for your self !
Honest review with no string attached that I’m looking for. Thank you.
Jackery is old news. I must say Jackery made these "solar generators " popular. Only to be taken over by Bluetti and Ecoflow. They are the ones innovating in this space taking Jackery popularity. Thanks for being honest and for the awesome comparison.
While Goal Zero is wondering what’s going on
I appreciate your honesty. I’ve been debating both of these for a few months now and it’s clear to go with the Delta 2.
I am glad I made the right decision and bought the new ecoflow delta 2!!!
Its a great machine. A little loud, but I love mine.
Good intro. Thats why I subscribed.
One correction, if you plug into wall AND solar, the Jackery does not increase charging voltage. You are still getting 800 watts max, tho it will favor the solar over the AC input.
Similar correction for Delta 2. It does not dual charge and will prefer AC at 1200W over solar if both are available.
I respect your firm position for not backing down.
Subscribed bc of your transparency! Much appreciated!
Sub. Very well done. You sold me on you are more honest then most. Both are good units. I hope both companies watch this and read comments.
Thank you for sticking with an honest and unsponsored review.
The 3500 vs 1000 cycles is definitely the biggest advantage of the Ecoflow unit.
I was investigating these 2 recently and there are 4 details we should mention:
- Full charging time in the Ecoflow is around 30 minute shorter (80 minutes vs 110 minutes)
- In Jackery, charging solar + outlet doesnt't add up. When both are connected solar has priority. This was very likely a greener choice by the vendor (kudos for that) but having that configurable would be better
- Ecoflow has an app which allows us to manage the unit remotely, if has access to wifi. Jackery does not
- Jackery unit can also be used as an UPS (just like Ecoflow), but that is not announced properly
thumbs up for the integrity👍
I have found that the Jackery line of batteries work better outside when camping and dealing with temperature changes.
I appreciate honesty. By them telling you to lie is enough for me. That says it all! I'm disabled. I don't have money to waste. I need a dependable product to survive. I would use there product to test but no conditions or contract. Thank you. Question...do u have any products given that you don't use? Would u give or sell at a disdiscount? I'm just a female trying to survive if shtf
Thank you for standing your ground and exposing jackery for what they are. I've been feeling lied to from other reviews and this solidified that thought. I'm poor and living in my suv trying to save up money to have my son from another country to spend some time with me. Hoping I can find some black friday deals to help me to survive in the meantime. I think I might go with ecoflow. Thank you again
Thank you for being honest!
I bought a Delta 2 so my wife & I could go camping & we're able to use our CPAP machines. I also got a 110w solar panel with it, at no charge do to the special that Ecoflow had at the time. I'm very happy with this unit. A month after that purchase I bought the Delta Pro & Smart dual fuel generator, for backup power during monsoon season here in AZ.
So many youtube channels now pushing these products. Thank-you for exposing the goings on behind the scenes. Shame on you Jackery.
I like your style, being honest is a good thing certainly not found very often.
Finally the review I’ve been waiting for ! 🤟🏾🔥
Well done you for standing up to honesty, this is why we all watch these videos, honest reviews is what us consumers want so we can make our own educated decision on what we want to spend our hard earned money on.
Thank you for your honesty, now when I watch other video saying that Jackery is better, I doubt if its a real review or if they signed a contract with them🙄 They lost a lot of point for me and will not go with Jackery now...
Sorry I'm a little late in commenting. THANK YOU, for your transparency and honesty. So refreshing to see an upfront and honest evaluation. I recently purchased a an Ecoflow Delta 2, very impressed with it. I purchased it so I can power a portable refrigerator/cooler and charge personal devices, while camping. I decided on this unit as it has more than enough capacity to last several days without charging. Thanks again, from a new subscriber, looking forward to watching your other videos.
Thank you for your video, I buy the delta. Excellent product.
Good choice!
Ecoflow is what I will buy Black Friday deal for my off grid cabin. Thanks for the honest comparison!
Thank you for siding with the public and not them greedy corporations, I was looking at Jackery for a smaller unit since I have the Delta Max but just for that I’m going to stick with Ecoflow brand , again thank you for standing up for us. WE THE PEOPLE 🇺🇸🇺🇸
You have my utmost respect Sir
*New Subscriber* because of your honesty and integrity! 🤠
I've been researching portable power stations for months and to be honest Jackery was one of the first units I crossed off my wish list. The Delta 2 fit my needs, specs, and budget perfectly and was delivered 2 weeks ago! We use it for backup power for our Starlink Internet, 2 computers, a 2-way radio base station, low-voltage lights, recharging cell phones, flashlights lanterns, radios, etc. all connected in one of our spare bedrooms. All of that is still light enough and portable enough to relocate in minutes if needed.
Good to know about the kind of company Jackery is, not that i would have ever bought any of their products simply because they continue to use the 20+ year old battery technology (because it offers a higher profit margin). Eco Flow has "seen the light" and are switching most of their product line over to LiFePO4, which is great for the consumer. Thanks for your honesty and going out of your way to talk about the positive things the Jackery has to offer. I hope your station prospers in the future!
Thank you for your honesty , also about the vendors
Greetings from Germany
Without honest reviews, we would be wasting our hard earned money so we need people like you and I may add theses are not cheap items, thanks bro for sharing this 👍👊
Thank you for your honest opinion.
I had been looking at a few backup battery systems and came across the EcoFlow Delta 2 and was sold for the LiPo4 battery. One thing that you didn't cover or mention is that the EcoFlow Delta 2 has an EPS (emergency power system), though not a true UPS, but after the lost of power it will switch over to the EPS in 30ms and for what I wanted, it was perfect. I have it connected to my pellet stove and wanted to be sure that it was running in the event that we lost power while we slept or out and about. Winters in New Hampshire is unforgiving at times.
Purchased the EcoFlow DELTA 2 and the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Smart Extra Battery and worked as it should.
I started with a pair of Jackery 1000 units with no solar panels and have used them only for home power outage situations; no camping. I now have a Dometic car refrigerator as well as the EcoFlow Delta 2; EcoFlow River 2 Max and Anker 767 power stations primarily for the LFP battery technology.
I ordered the delta 2 before I even seen this video I did my research and got what I wanted I don’t like what jackery did tho glad you kept it honest in this review I will be using and testing my delta 2 out soon it came on April 1st 2024 I see this video is a year old still relevant to this day 👌🏾✅
Thumbs up and subscribing for your honesty
Appreciate your candor and honesty as it pertains to Jackery. I own an Explorer 300 which has been great for 2-3 day camping trips with light needs but wanted something a bit beefier for longer trips and general home power backup during rare power outages. I was torn between the Delta 2 and the Jackery 1000 Pro. I was leaning Jackery until I saw how unprofessionally they conducted themselves with you. Makes you wonder how many schills are out there. I, for one, won’t be buying anything Jackery going forward. Thank you for sharing everything you experienced and your honest opinion.
I was a Jackery fanboy until my 2yr warranty ran out and just 3 months later my 1000 Explorer decided to just turn itself off and won't turn back on. It was fully charged when I plugged in my 37 qrt ARB fridge to ready for a camping trip. An hour later the unit had turned off and no amount of resets, attempted charging, etc.... it won't turn on.
I contacted Jackery to see if there is any after warranty support in the way of a repair facility that I could ship it to and have it repaired (on my dime). Nope, and doesn't look like they plan to bother. So, now I am holding a very lightly used pretty $1000 brick.
A five year warranty would have sufficed at this point as newer technology would most likely be available by then and worth an upgrade regardless if my Jackery was still running or not.
Currently chatting with other brands (including EcoFlow) regarding after warranty product support.
Wish me luck!
Delta 2 has 5 year warranty
@@larryc1616 Yup. I went with the Delta 2. Great unit and better when paired with the app.
Can I ask you why you chose the .Jackery to begin with an Eco flowI has always been a better unit even blue Eddie is better than the Jacory.
@@joeglennaz Honestly, I hadn't heard of EcoFlow 2+ years ago. Jackery did an absolute brilliant move by jamming their products into every UA-cam channel that could possibly use a power unit like these. EcoFlow popped up later on in UA-cam channels, but I feel that they are still more selective as to who they sponsor on UA-cam.
Had EcoFlow been in my crosshairs in the beginning, and I were to do a cross compare between the two (and other) companies, Jackery would not have been so lucky with my money. I got 2 years, and a few months out of it before it decided to never turn back on. And after Jackery basically telling me to go kick rocks, I will not promote their product to anyone. I learned my lesson, and it only took one time.
Hopefully others that read this, heed my advice.
Hey how do you like your Delta 2 compared to the 1000? Are the differences noticeable?
Nice review, I saw on another review testing that showed the Jackery will not combine the charging input of solar and outlet charging. It will favor the solar charging over another source of charging and will still max you out at 800w, unfortunately.
Really your videos on these 2 items. I have been looking at the Jackery brand for a bit. Thanks to you I am now looking at Ecoflow. Now that you have expressed what Jackery told you, I am almost completely sold on Ecoflow. That's some straight BS Jackery. This coming from Lil' Bubba, President of The Bubba's of America. Keep up speaking the truth Bubba!
Went to the battery store this weekend with the intent of buying a Jackery. Asked the store owner if I was a sibling which would he recommend. He said EcoFlow. That’s what I bought.
I think he forgot somthing ...dosn't Echo Flow Delta 2 have cable storage in the top of the unit??
LOL!!! Jackery asking you to sign a contract after the fact. You’re by no way legally bound to sign anything as there was no previous agreement.
This should be a wake up call for them to improve their product. They should be happy with your most honest opinion and side by side review.
Regarding competition, for some reason, this reminded me of Ford vs. Ferrari.
Thanks so much for your review, Eco Flows have an “On The Road Show,” at one of the local Costco’s this week where I’m at.
thank you so much for sharing and being someone with integrity
You are so welcome
Having LFP instead of NMC alone is a huge W for the Ecoflow in my opion. Let alone more many other features 😀.
Appreciate the objective review in suite of the response from Jackery.
New subscriber from miami thanks for sharing
I purchased the Jackery and am excited to get. The 1000 pro seems like the best purchase. Disappointing marketing moves but like it’s American made.
Oh and like the design
UA-cam requires them to disclose if they received free product, I wouldn’t get too caught up in these companies and what they do. I do appreciate you said what you experienced.
Also, could you include where the product is manufactured? I like buying USA made products and not Chinese. Well any country but China is preferable.
This type of “power supply” has been of interest to me for a while now but I don’t have an immediate use for one thus I’ve not purchased one. Let the technology improve with time…
Yes Jackery is a big name with this type of product. But because of their behind the curtain shenanigans I’d never buy one of their products, I won’t endorse them, and I’ll spread the word about how they want to write the “review”…
I did go back and way your previous video from a month ago and I’ve also subscribed to your channel. No I’m not a “prepper” I’m just interested in the type of products you’re reviewing.
Thanks for your honesty
Bought the Delta 2 in September when it was released in the UK, it isn’t charging to 100% now even when trying to charge from the mains supply. It’s currently reaching around 34% and its not been 3 months 😡 Waiting to hear from Ecoflow 🤔
New sub! Good review, I own ecoflow. Live in very rural area. Lose power often. Also portable in case of bugout. Solar panels first rate. Thank for video.
Welcome to the community. Thanks.
Thank you for the honest review!
I have now a Jackery 2000 pro and the new Delta 2! In my opinion is the Delta 2 better as the Jackery 1000 pro but the Jackery has 3 pro points! 1. lower temperature loading. 2. quiter AC loading. 3. more Solar input.
Great review. It should be important to all manufacturers to be willing to get reviews, that's how they what to improve.
I purchased the delta 2 and the extra battery and I’m very impressed. As far as accessories and space, my extra battery has a compartment on the top that allowed me to add a few cords to it, not all but most.
Great video! Nice comparison of those power sources. Both great products. New follower here. Crow✌️
Awesome! Thank you!
Much respect to you! Very detailed and honest review. Jackery… what a D move.
Two things....
1) SPEED OF CHARGE is everything in any power emergency! That's the game changer.
2) Be wary of using any solar generator wifi app! Those apps can be hacked and your solar generator is vulnerable to disabling, damage or being fried.
Good deal for telling Jackery to go get buffed. Your picture's on the piano!! 👍😀👍
Videos like this get my instant like and sub
Thanks for your video. I have one Jackery 500 and one 1000 (1st editions) and i'm quite satisfied with them. But for me, Jackery is now dead. I'll never buy a Jackery again. You're right not to play such games. I also have a Ecoflow Delta Max with 2 extended batteries and the Ecoflow Smart generator. With them i am really happy, great products.
Thanks for staying true to principles! Any business that needs a guarantee doesn’t have faith in their products. Prob would’ve gone with Jackery before this video just on name recognition. Jackery just lost a sale.
Thanks for your honest comments.
keep up the honest review...we appreciate it
Thank you for honest reviews
Good for you for not selling out to the corporate brain washers! good 4 you man!!
Yes I have seen a few videos saying Jack's are great but no mention on how many cycles the eco is the one I'll poss invest in.
Jackery can send me the 1000 and solar panels and I wouldn't ever post a disparaging comment about them bec it would be far better wattage than what I have now!
I sure hoping you rec'd your panels before this vid.
Thank you for this comparison.
I'm searching for a powerstation for my RV and I want to pick one brand to stay in that ecosystem. I'm stuck between Jackery, ecoflow and this interesting company Runhood. Runhood has battery's that can be taken out, charged and used as separate banks.
Great honest review! Thank you for putting this out there. Honesty is the best policy. 100% of the time. Thank you!
The problem with the damn things is that for every good review there are bad reviews by people with nightmare stories about faulty products and terrible customer service… for all the brands I’ve been looking at- 😅 Bluetti Jackery and Ecoflow. Sometimes seems like a case of which quicksand you want to dive into.
Jackery seems to have some issues. For a short while you could order Jackery through Canadian Tire in Canada. You couldn't buy it in-store but you could order one in. Then suddenly after a few weeks it wasn't available. That made me wonder about them and I chose the Ecoflow. Glad I did. I don't know what the issue was but for a huge company like Canadian Tire to cancel their contract, it would have be pretty serious I would think.
Now I know which one to get for my light bulbs! great review.
Straight forward and honest review. Thanks! We've been using a Jacker 1000 with 2 panels, mostly for camping. I do find it useful for powering our router and wifi when needed.
Thank you for being honest I only used jackey 😮 I am shocked 😮 I have them light .👍
Your honesty is greatly appreciated.........Thank you....
The fact that jackery doesn't want people to be honest about their product has convinced me to not buy one.
Like the design of Jackery better. Outdoor looks!!
If you run the Jackery to empty it can degrade the battery rapidly if it`s left uncharged and it`s the same if it`s stored fully charged and in the heat.
Wow thanks for the video i was planning on getting jackery 1000 now that u explain i will definitely go with delta 2 1000 thank u so much
Subbed because of your integrity. Plus, good video!
Thank you for your stance.
I purchased the Delta 2. At this time I am happy with it. I also bought a 110-watt solar panel but had to purchase the cable to connect it separately. I would like to see a comparison of Ecoflow Delta 2 with the Bluetti 200 P. Thank you for your videos. I would be leery of buying a Jackery product with this response to your review. How does one make a comparison without explaining all + and - of the products. 👍
Oh jackery, naughty naughty. I'm glad i went with ecoflow. I now am dubious about other reviews with the jackery in it.
Thank you! Great honest review.
Atleast they stand by their name! -Jackery indeed
Respect! Too many shameful shills on youtube. Thanks for your honesty!
Good honest review.
Very informative review. Has helped me a lot. Looking to purchase a system for Motorhome , off grid use, by April 2023. So looking around a lot. Key for me is lifespan, want something to last over 10 years. Also noise... i use a cpap and oxygen so a noisy fan is a no. Comparing price per kw , these kind of batteries seem to be overly expensive compared to batteries for house solar systems ... whose prices are falling. Many thanks.
