Sniper EFI Install - El Camino / Monte Carlo ( G Body ) - PART 3

This is part 3 of 4 for the Sniper EFI install we did on a 1987 Chevy El Camino. This would apply to most G Body vehicles running a sbc engine. This video covers an overview of the gas tank and fuel line installation.

Very clean install, but I don't see a fuel pressure gauge or a fitting for a test port up near the throttle body. Trust me, you're gonna need one, we've all been there.

A fuel pressure gauge was added before final install. That will be shown on the upcoming Part 4 video. Thanks for your comment.

What tank n sending unit did you use?
I’m guessing from the 4.3L last few years. I haven’t found a source for them.

Hey Tommy. Yes, I used a new 4.3 EFI sending unit on this install that I purchased from Mike's Montes. Had to make a few modifications and eventually discovered that the vent valve was defective on my unit which caused my in-tank pump to fail. The link to the sending unit is below. I’ve got an 1981 super sport that I ordered new, running a 406/700r4 that I’m considering efi.
