The Vorbaks issue with the Contemptor shows that the 1 in 5 Power Fist upgrade on them is basically mandatory. Those S10 hits with guarenteed AP2 are invaluable
A new target for Dark Bretheren is made at the end of the turn. So when Contemptor died in DA Turn 2, there couldn't be a new target for it until after the WB 2nd turn
New target is picked at the end of the turn. Contemptor dies DA Turn 2, at the end of that turn (DA Turn 2) a new target is picked.
They are very weak compared to all other elite in the game. 3+ save is ridiculous, with 5 fnp, not invulnerable save! Also, you have to run 2 Mahara'Gal to be not too weak, not three not to be OP.

This is by far the best word bearers list. I run mine as imperial heralds but some galvorback ...themed like rifht before they went full chaos just bfore calth

Great report, thanks guys. Gal Vorbak and Mhari Gal (sp?) probably MVPs. Knights Cenobian didn’t seem to do much for their points.
Word bearers have some very good units. As well as the models having loads of flavour
Knights Cenobium almost always worth taking tho. Compared to almost all other WS5 termies they're dirt cheap and incredibly effective; 50 points a model for Thunder Hammers, 3 attacks a model if they take Reapers of Hosts, and WS6 sergeant. Their only competition for cost effectiveness are Deliverers, Varagyr, and Dominators (Varagyr are very expensive but they're stupidly powerful).
@@DeusExMachina10001 Agree but they didn’t do much this game, spent half of it sitting in their land raider.

Pretty sure Phosphex is just Dangerous, not Difficult..
Dangerous follows the rules for difficult as well as the Dangerous terrain test

Orlunu is correct. Lingering Death is only Dangerous to models with a T value so vehicles would ignore. Graviton is flat difficult/dangerous for next turn though.
