- We are a core group of 4 players based in the North East of England. We all love Horus Heresy gaming and want to promote the system aswell as the fantastic community we have in the area.

Forgot how ridiculous the Cthonia secondaries were. Was glad to see that First Strike was removed in Beta Garmon since First Strike and Break Their Ranks were effectively duplicates of each other.
Yer, i always felt i was reading them wrong, but they were basically the same VP score! - Ed

I mainly go to the attrition events in southampton. We are hosting our own event in newcastle in september tho! -Ed

As an Iron Warriors player I feel your pain working out the number of shots for Bitter Fury. Technically they should be rolled individually as well because of how 'gets hot' works

i know you mentioned that those shields on the iron warriors breachers are from the Ultramarines. do you mean those from the 30k Ultramarine Praetorian kit?

The inner circle don’t get to wound jump they are not independent characters. Only the sgt is a character in the squad. I also fell victim to this. Loved the batrep though.
ill give it another look but i believe even as just characters they do...tis a terrible rule for all models in a unit to have - Ed
I loved this but i does remind my why i stopped playing 30K, so many return fires that are worse than the shot done, i dont like that in a war game its often makes more sense not to shoot and sometimes not to move
We were in the same boat.
But we saved 30k for our group by kicking reactions and adapting a simple simultaneous turn system.
Brought back the fun and turned it up to almost Bolt Action levels!
@@DimitriHarkov yeah we had tried something similar but didn't work that well, we have just moved on to MESBG and we will keep an eye out for 3rd edition heresy next year
To be fair it took me a while to come round to it too, but its realising you can do things to negate it like pinning and psychic powers etc, but yeah i get it man! -Ian

I am pretty sure that Weapons that are being fired as part of a Reaction can't cause pinning tests or Moral checks
They can't cause moral but they can cause pinning
Yarp, they dont cause Morale but do causing pinning!
