Man no wonder this game flew under my radar. Sure it's the first that allowed the player to select their character and each had unique play style, but damn the number of music tracks are so limited, and that ending being "It was all just a dream"...
Thank you friend~! Just introduced my 4-yr-old niece to Super Mario Bros, and she wanted to play, but not having my console set up, this helped her see the game to the happy end. ^7^ Thaaanks~! (Next time, I'll be ready)
This game is slept on by those who dislike it because it is unlike the original. I personally like the movement of the characters in this game more than the original...especially floaty Luigi. The strange mystic music and vibe is pretty creepy and cool in the proper proportion. Wordo to Birdo.
I always liked how friggin weird this game was. I don’t know how many mushrooms were ingested by the creators of the original Mario game but they took twice as much for this one.
They were thinking that American audiences wouldn't pay for a sequel that was essentially the same game as the previous one. An attitude I wish more developers had today.
This and Zelda 2 are great sequels.
Enjoyed this one more than the original.
This is my favorite NES game, with Ice Hockey #2
So many close calls! Unreal. This game was a big deal for me as a seven year old child; in retrospect, it was a big deal period! LOL.
I love how when a bomb goes off, it just says "bomb."😄
I always liked, even when I hum it myself, the way the game... applies it's own modifications to the music.

Excellent job. I know it’s UA-cam and incredible is a search away, but still well done
Back when sequels weren't just reskins of the previous title (yes, I know the US version of SMB2 is different than the Japanese version).
Nicely done. Brings back memories. Thank-you!
It's a shame that in 3 parts mario only 1 character! Always in the second part I play for the princess. (The name of the princess I forgot).
@@Marialovesyoufellowhumans Peach, what does that mean?
Princess Peach
Its princess peach how could you forget such a rememberable name dammit

I never played this one, was hard to find for some reason.
