My previous Sparkling Gourami tank was aquascaped nearly 9 months ago and needed a big reboot. These tiny little gourami are a great fish so I wanted to give them a nice new fresh home. I love a good low tech nature aquarium and is my favourite to build. So that's what I've done and hopefully you like it. People are often asking me to do low cost low tech aquarium builds....that's all I do to be honest 🤣. As you can see here. Cheap light, cheap filter...and actually, given that it's low iron glass, the aquarium is cheap as well. Now obviously, this can be done with any aquarium and if your budget is really tight, go for a used tank. There are some great bargains out there 😊

Don’t know if you saw my comment on a previous video, but apparently politely nagging is the way to go…
      So, by that logic…
Would love to see you do a hardscape with no plants, silver dollars and a medium South American cichlid as the feature fish… since you have a couple 4 foot aquariums sitting around empty…
Love the channel, look forward to seeing what you create next…

The thing is guys, the analytics show that more people will watch the video when they know what they are investing their time in. That's why the thumbnail shows the result. Hi what is the glue you use to hold wood together and I presume it’s fine for fish ?? Also where do you get your wood from and cannot be placed straight into a tank ??

Gorilla glue, Superglue, Krazy Glue - most people use the gel formula, but he's doing a bit of an advanced thing with the bits of cotton pad and mentioned that he used the regular runnier formula. Please do your own Google research about the cotton and superglue thing! But anyway, the key point is that the glue should be cyanoacrylate glue.

You are a genius with nano type freshwater planted Shrimp/fish aquariums. Won’t this back gravel buildup topped with wood going to need to be vacuumed ? If not won’t it determinate the substrate and make it smelly with detritus?

You said good, every aquarium needs to be the balace, the fish (frogs, shrimps, snails and any animal you keep) must to be balanced with tha plants an the benefial bactitrials on the ground and in the filter. they could live in harmony, they have to live in harmony. Otherwise they will die all.... It's an art to you choose how many and which type creature can live on that enclosure what you made.... I found it so intresting....
