Your son will have fond memories of these specials times when you cooked together He may not know it now but he will. And he may just end up being a famous chef himself. Teaching kids to cook is the best thing a mom can do

I'm not Armenian, but I love this dish! I made it for the first time for a halloween party (because pumpkins and halloween go together so well) where I only went as somebody's date, so I didn't know anyone else there, but everyone LOVED the ghapama I brought and I became very popular. Now I make it every Halloween for my friends and it's always a huge hit. Thank you very much for all the tips!
I am going to give this a try! I love your sweet disposition. I hope you gave that boy a good smack off camera though. He will LOVE this dish one day and no other woman will ever make it like his mother! 💗💗💗
We were first introduced to this fantastic dish at World Vision in Stepanavan while in Peace Corps 2012-2014. We had it every year while there for Christmas or Nor Tari. Now I watch this show every year to remind myself how to make it. The video is so enjoyable because she is very patient with her teenage son. She sounds like an amazing mom and cook.
Abris, Heghineh! Greatly enjoyed your video, inspired my wife to follow your example and made a great Ghapama for Thanksgiving. Ampoghch hachoghoutyoun tsezi!
thanks Heghineh jan for your wonderful video. I plan on making this for Thanksgiving! :) You and your son are adorable. I would really appreciate it if you could make a video on how to make gata. Thank you. All the best. -Ani
Thank you Ani jan, Hope you like it, and I made three different kinds of Gata in my earlier videos, please check those out, this is one of them: ua-cam.com/video/t1RjohTIglM/v-deo.html
In english we call that stuff in the middle of the pumpkin the "guts", but it not very formal and may even offend someone, especially if that someone is accustomed to having their head up their butt. But otherwise, thats what everyone I know calls them. Pumpkin guts.
I really enjoy watching it & prepare of course for my family, but is it possible to give the whole recipe-measurments while you prepare it. thank you ☺
Thank you for watching Anna jan, I really like spontaneous cooking without mentioning numbers and exact measurements , but I always make sure to write a detailed recipe on my blog , link can be found below each video :)
What a beautiful and delicious looking dish! Thank you so much for sharing. My sons are the same way... I'll just love the smell and taste of something and they're like "no". Hahaha I just love em!
I loved the video... and your son was very entertaining! He looked just as excited as my son looks every single day he is with his parents!! lol I have only two comments. There were too many adds, during the short video. Too many interruptions. Also, I would have liked for you to announce the measurements as you are cooking, and type the measurements at bottom of screen. That would have been helpful! Other than that, it was great and thank you.. and thank your son. He should be in more videos!
Эгинешечка, смотрела Хапама у Лилит и выплыло это видео))) Сижу улыбаюсь, Арнак ещё подросток, а Бек совсем малыш такой сладенький💋У вас очень красивый дизайн получился у тыквы💞💕💞

Heghineh jan, should we cover the pumpkin with foil while its in the oven? does the skin burn?
No Anahit jan, no need to cover
Bake it open at 350° it won't burn
