I honestly feel like he didn’t need to even apologize. Christian or Not. His discussion between his son was THEIR business , not OURS.
He apologized to the fans, for what?!? His son needs to apologize to his father for making him tht mad.

This was a conversation between a father and a son who's probably had a pretty good life provided by his father, so for the son who seemed to provoke his father into saying something that he could get on tape and put out to the public was a Busta move in the sons part. I’ll always have respect for my parents but they taught me to stand up and take no shit from anyone. That includes them. If you want respect then give respect it’s literally that simple. You talk to your son like a man and see how much more he will respect you. You talk to him like a slave or piece of property and see if he won’t turn on you. I pray that Kirk repent for what he has said and make it right with God, but he is HUMAN and I will not sit back and allow another HUMAN to crucify another simply because he sinned. Who are you God? I honestly feel like the reason people are defending Kirk is not just because they're fans or industry friends but because the son recorded the rant and posted it. It created empathy because NO ONE wants to be exposed in their vulnerability like that. Not condoning the words. Just an observation. Without knowing their history, I don't know how anyone can honestly take sides. He's certainly not right for recording and sharing their argument with the internet, but whether Kirk's right in cursing him out is something thats hard to judge. Plenty of fathers are emotionally unavailable to their children while they're kids and then wonder why they have strained relationships with their children when they're adults.
Not saying that's the case, but neither do I think its likely the case that Kirk (as a busy celebrity) was this great father who really took time to bond with his son.
