You guys are hilarious! From throwing shingles off the roof for the trash man, foggy video, camera work that makes me dizzy and Oh, the content! Loved it.
The cut and nail to start the ridge-cap. What keeps that nail from leaking. It didn't get covered with the next shingle. I understand wanting it to lay flat so the wind doesn't catch it. But without some silicone over that nail. It will leak, eventually
I'll tell you how to do it. Put the first cap on. Don't blow the nail all the way through. Chalk a line from one end to the other. Start lining your cap with the Chalk line. Don't shoot the nail all through way through or it will blow off in the wind. Time saved.
hey there fellows. all day everyday roofer here myself.. not tryin to sound like a dick but ur capping upside down,, there is a reason u use the side with the corners cut of facing down. If u look at the cap it has what's called a shadow line if u see what I'm talking about .. ur suppose to line the next cap on top just past the tar line but ur suppose to see the shadow line cause it blends it in with the shingles.. try it out u'll see wat I'm talking about.. cheers😀

Simple and straightforward , you guys keep up the good work ! Stay tough and keep it pro !
We always cut the first one in half for the tar strip and use it as a starter. It helps with wind.
great work needed to install a ridge at the start thx just needed a repair done thank you 🎉😊
Why are you putting the cap on upsidedown?
Thank you Sir, it's so helpful!
you snapped a chalk line fuck yea! i hate seeing bad hips and ridge caps. good job

Freaking great video. Proper roofers. No fuss.
Nice video. Helpful or my garden shed. Greetings from The Netherlands.
Very good! Always enjoy watching! 👍👍👍👍👍
Should have doubled up the first shingle at the bottom of the hip. Only single coverage the way you installed it.

Terrible job from the brothers! Upside down, should be using 4 nails, the work site is messy, no tool belt, otherwise wonderful job brothers!
Hopefully thats a pro bono job your doing for charity
Doing it right except for there upside down, it’s probably brighter out than it looks and he just can’t tell.
If your cutting them front regular shingles vs the high dollar singles.
It would be easy enough to see.
Yall good .
The cap is upside down bud
i do two nails per side. High and middle.
More wind perfection
