Day Trip To Flagstaff Arizona | Slide Rock State Park

- Hope you all enjoyed the short! This short showed me traveling up to Flagstaff Arizona for a day trip to Slide Rock State Park. I had some family visiting the Grand Canyon from Buffalo so we decided to meet up at the halfway point between the Grand Canyon and Phoenix. This ended up being Slide Rock State Park which is a really cool park with a natural water slide and some cliff jumping spots. I got to do a bit of cliff jumping and swimming before we drove into downtown Flagstaff for dinner. Overall, it was a really fun day trip! What other parts of Arizona do you think I should visit? As a local I recommend mountain biking. It's one of Flagstaffs greatest things(there will really only be locals)

I could tell u had fun!! Sliding rocks is amazing! I even found an underwater critter while I was there! Did you jump off of a very small cliff at Sliding Rocks?
Yeah I jumped off one of the cliff jumping spots while I was there!
The drive from slide rock to flag is the best. Oak creek canyon is amazing. Been in flag 11 years now and have never gone to slide rock.
Whole area is absolutely gorgeous! The first time I drove through there was snow on the ground and I thought I was in the wrong state 😂
How far was the hike there and back to the cliff jumping spot?
Not far at all! The cliff jumping spot is basically around the corner from the rest of the place
Was the water not cold?
Not really! Probably cold by most people’s standards but I’m from Buffalo and I take cold showers everyday so it wasn’t that bad for me!

Just pulled into the Flagstaff KOA an hour ago! Boys and I are goofing around up here all week. Sooo much nicer than the valley!
Agreed! Valley is fun for nightlife and events but if you want to relax then bring up North is way better! Hope y’all have a great time!!
@@Tex100 Ok , so I’m an unhappy and bitter person by nature, but we just had lunch at “ Sono Kitchen and Boba “ in Flagstaff! This place is absolutely delicious! Strawberry Mango Snow White tea and house noodles. If you’re hungry, do not hesitate to to stop here, you will thank me later!

My family is currently visiting there. They drove all the way from LA to there and they say it’s beautiful. I would love to visit there some day, to leave the LA urban scene and visit a peaceful looking town and enjoy God’s creation.
It's a great spot to visit! Hopefully you're able to make it out there at some point and get away from the city!

Yeah there were a lot of people. We went up stream a bit and found a more private area that was fun to hang out at though!

Slide Rock is technically in Sedona, but it’s at the almost the exact midpoint between the 2 cities and the restaurant was in Flagstaff. With Flagstaff being the better known city it made more sense to say Flagstaff in the video.
