I visited Sedona on a whim while driving across the country for a vlog and I couldn't have made a better decision. Sedona is more magical than Disneyland. The natural beauty of the town(day & night) can't be matched.
SO, funny story, that is. W Disney grew up on Thunder Mountain.
I agree Sedona is amazing
Hi! All of us at The Chai Spot send you a big thank you for including The Chai Spot in your video!!!
I just added the Chai Spot on my “must visit” list & I will be in Sedona this spring! I LOVE CHAI!😋
Too bad its not dog friendly!((((
Please be dog friendly!
Coming to visit soon! Sounds delicious!
Heading there soon thanks to this video!
Best place I visited on Earth so far after 36 countries! Sedona!
Agreed!
Be sure to never return, please and thanks!
@@kylef2937 WTF. why? you're such a weirdo.
@@kylef2937 returning with friends, all the time, forever!
It is beautiful , as all of az is.. seriously all of az is beautiful . never take the same road twice.your soul needs to venture
Should I go here or strawberry 🍓 this weekend or Montezuma 🏰?
@@facitenonvictimarum174 I guess I'm still pissing off my grammar teacher 40 years later . how do you write eat a bag of dicks in latin Mr victimarum
AZ is under rated
I'm from California im going to make AZ my second home you local zonies 😅😂
All of Arizona above Phoenix is beautiful. You cant say with a straight face Yuma is a nice place to go.
As a resident I look for the intersection of quality and value, otherwise I'd go broke eating out. If I have visitors from out of town I go for the best patio view dining: Mariposa, runners up The Hudson, Open Range Grill, Sound Bites Grill (warning during summer monsoon season a late patio lunch might get rained/blown out). For just eating out to get a good meal; best breakfast: Red Rock Cafe; best lunch: Pagos lunch specials < $10; best dinner: Golden Goose; best happy hour: Cucina Rustica. That is just my top choices, in my opinion Trip Advisor's top restaurant lists for Sedona are pretty accurate.
James Thomas thanks for the tips!
@@TinaAndRigden Sure no problem. I just had lunch at Golden Goose yesterday and I realize that I should have mentioned they are a really great option for breakfast and lunch too. It is my favorite restaurant overall.
I was so happy to find Josh’s on Sedona, but your comments are great! I’ll definitely go some of the places you recommended. I’m in this beautiful Sedona area.
Is Sedona more beautiful than Flagstaff? And does it snow in these areas in the November or December?
@@MusicLuv80 Flagstaff is in a forest and gets significant amounts of snow which can last all winter due to its high elevation. Sedona looks like this video and rarely gets a significant amount of snow other than during a big storm zero to two times a year which then melts away within a week.
I live in Cottonwood, about ten miles south of Sedona. Visit Old Town Cottonwood for better eats. Colt Grill has amazing BBQ all day, Crema or Red Rooster for breakfast, and Nick's, The Tavern, or Bocce's for dinner. There's also wine tasting and little boutiques. Merkins and AZ Stronghold are my favorite wineries. There's Jali Trail in Old Town as well, which is a nice little nature hike down to the river.
Robin WC no. I live in Camp Verde and Bobby D’s in Jerome has the best bbq in the valley
I lived in Cottonwood for a while back in the 80s and recently drove through there. It has changed so much and Old Town is now such an amazing area. It used to be so run down and ignored, but wow, what a transformation! Should have known that would be the area that would thrive too, it always had so many nice old shade trees.
Had a planned and unplanned stop in '16. The first place had a large courtyard that lead to the rooms. My wife loved it. I did too. Then, after our visit to the Canyon, we stopped back on the way to Phoenix. This time the place to check into the room was a bar. This was fine with us. I took photos of the old gas station while my wife shopped. We both loved Cottonwood.
Its fun to think what tourist think of my home state
I moved to CA in the 90s and very few people I talked to had heard of Sedona then. That changed after social media though and now just about everyone here knows about it and it's considered a very cool destination for a vacation.
Such a great and magical place! I just returned and posted some videos.
One of my favorite places in the world! My wife and I try to go once a month in the Summer to escape the heat(relatively speaking) from Phoenix. When hiking in Sedona and all its beautiful sights, take lots of water. Don't hike without it. A Jeep tour is worth the experience as is a helicopter ride.
I've been traveling to Sedona since 1991 and I always love the Coffee Pot restaurant with it's 101 Omelets!
I live in Phoenix and absolutely love it here. I moved to Arizona from New York in 2003. So happy I did. Sedona is absolutely stunning. A quaint little city in the middle of a beautiful desert landscape of red rocks and little shops. I've been all over the state and Sedona and Flagstaff are my favorite places to visit. In the winter the snow capped mountains are beautiful. So yes, visit Sedona. You will not be sorry.
I also moved from N.Y to Phoenix back in 2005. I frequent Sedona alot, especially when i have out of town guests. I also like the flagstaff snow topped mountains.
I love Flagstaff so much, we moved here. 😁 Personally I don't care for Sedona any longer. The traffic is horrendous. I prefer Oak Creek.
Mesa is a nice place too
more info, please! We need MORE INFO!!! can you sum up why you are happy to have left NY for AZ? thanks!
Thanks so much for all of the recommendations in this video. I know it was posted a few years ago, but I used it to plan a trip to Sedona last week. The Chai Spot and Wildflower Bread Company were wonderful. We stopped by Slide Rock State Park and hiked Cathedral Rock, Airport Mesa, and more. We stopped by Montezuma Castle National Monument on our way up from Phoenix. Really enjoyed our time!
I lived in Sedona for 10 years and just went there for a vacation and I still love it
I love Arizona! I left my heart there last year when I visited Grand Canyon 🙏✨
I love Arizona too!
Indeed, I went to a spring training game 7 years ago and fell in love immediately. I moved to AZ 2 years ago and still love it.
Peter Vitti 🙏
Peter Vitti wow amazing synchronization because I am tying up loose ends to move there aswell! Don’t know exactly where am thinking about Sedona but we will see where The Universe takes me. Am so freakin excited that I have remind myself to be patient all in Divine Timing 🙏✨
wildheart that makes 2 of us baby 😉
Loved Mariposa restaurant, especially the patio view as the sun set! Food is amazing too!
Best drive with view I’ve ever seen! Remember it with great memories.
I was just in Sedona yesterday for the first time. Now I'm stuck back in the Mid-West with snow and I miss it already. Not even 24 hours after leaving Sedona I'm online watching more videos of it. The most beautiful scenery I've ever seen.
@A.J. Ello I missed out on the airport overlook. I wished I would have gone there. There are plenty of views off the main roads. Pay for a parking pass if you want to stay more than a minute.
Thanks, please stay in the Midwest at all times!
@@kylef2937 Yeah, I'll make sure to isolate myself away from nature and practice safe socialism distancing. Noted.
This has been the best video I’ve seen so far on Sedona! Thank you!
Excellent tour video of Sedona! You kept every review, reference and comment short, sweet and to the point. Which means you were able cover a lot! Very informative without 'wandering chatter.' As a tourist doing my "homework" before taking my trip, your video was both entertaining and very helpful! Thanks
We followed most of your recommendations and were so pleased. Thanks!
Was just here last month and I loved it there! I did not want to leave. I hiked the four main Vortexes. Bell rock, Cathedral, Airport Mesa, and Boynton Canyon. The overall energy of Sedona as a whole is amazing.
I can't forget shocking impression when I saw amazing landscape first time in Sedona.
Man I have to tell you, I planned my entire 5 day trip with your video and it was an absolutely amazing trip. Only thing I would add is taking the ATV tour and hitting the ruin trail along with the Devils bridge trail. It was incredible!! Thanks
hi! would you mind sharing more info about the ATV ride?
The drive up Oak Creek Canyon is beautiful. Also Montezuma's Well.
The drive over Mingus Mountain too and seeing Sedona from Jerome.
Drove through this area during a cross-country roadtrip. The views of the red-rock are MAJESTIC. 😍
i’m moving from atlanta to sedona next year when i’m 18.. been wanting to live here since i was 13
Its honestly pretty boring to live in if you arent a tourist.
It's expensive to live there
@@christopherkipena850 very expensive.
I also moved here from Atlanta several years ago. I'll be moving back to Georgia next week. My partner and I have lived here for 2, very long and transformative-to-the-core years. If you are feeling the call like I did to this magickal land as I did, then just know to prepare yourself for a very self-intensive process of culling away at your ego and all that is not you. The energy of this land will beckon you to go deeper into yourself like you have never done so before. It will be intensely stressful. You will grow through enormous adversity. You will have moments of relief followed by seasons of emotional torrents to rage on through your souls dark nights. You will discover your truth... and you will lose all identity of who you think you are now. You will be made anew... at a price of ultimate suffering of the human condition. Make no mistake, it is a most advanced Spiritual boot-camp! You will be tested in every way humanly possibly. If self-realization/soul-awakening is what you're after, then please, step forward into that brave new dawn of yours. And if your heart is truly calling you here, then there is much for you to remember and much to learn. Thank you, kindred soul family for being willing to be so strong and have such a daringly beautiful journey of the most human experience. Come now. Be.
@@RadomKidsareme000 it's an expensive, controlling city filled with psuedo spiritualism and con artist gurus selling rocks and hogwash.
Much like diamonds, the only things special about Sedona is crook mysticism they've cultivated to stimulate their economy.
BEAUTIFUL, thank you.🍀
Those rock cliff dwellings of the Hopi natives looked a lot like one of the places we visited when we took the Pink Jeep Tour. Also, Jerome and The Grand Canyon are both close enough to visit and return to Sedona on the same day. There is so much to see and do there.
Wow! I can't thank you enough for making and sharing this video! We are traveling from west coast to east coast, and I wanted to see/do something special in each state, and it was this video that determined where and what in Arizona. And it was amazing! We love Sedona! 😍 Again, THANK YOU!
Going this month! Looking forward to it! Love your recommendations!
Thank you! for sharing and making this video.
The beauty of the area, the rocks are amazing. I am glad that my husband took me there too.
Josh, thank you for all of your videos !!! I cannot tell you how many memories we’ve shared because of your recommendations. #1) point MUGU hike..... I would never have done this hike without you. We spent a month in La Jolla and truly made memories to last a lifetime and we enjoyed it so much we decided to spend a month in Ventura for a month... and now Sedona ...!! I’m so excited...!!!
Cathedral Rock is an AWESOME hike! We just hiked Devil's Bridge last weekend as well! AWESOME!!!!!!! Your reflections of Sedona are SPOT ON!!!! Nice post!
Thanks for the tips, we were just talking about going here for vacation, now you gave us some ideas on what to do.
Creekside Bistro in Sedona is a favorite! Right in the middle of the arts area of Sedona, across from Tlaquepaque, this place is a gem! Chef driven menu and excellent service.
Get vid dear. Love Sedona. Been there many times. I love the one souvenir shop uptown with all the gems, crystals and rock stuff.
Great video. Loved seeing Sedona. Thanks from the UK xx
One of the greatest places on earth!
Sedona is one of my favorite places to go in Arizona! If you prefer not to hike, you just might find some really beautiful, exquisite shops! Thank you so much for posting this! It truly is an amazingly spiritual place!
I’ll hit those places next weekend, thanks for sharing.

Canyon Breeze Bar has the most beautiful views & amazing drinks❣️

My wife and I just spent our honeymoon in Sedona and you definitely hit a lot of the best spots! Cathedral rock and devils bridge were fun hikes! We tried the Mesa Grill at the airport which was actually really good! Can't wait for our next trip back!!! Such a beautiful place!

Sedona is beautiful. I love those red rocks. It’s our family to go for a road trip. We’ve been there many times. Stay Safe
That’s beautiful. Thank you so much for the hard work.
great video and good choices. I have lived here for over a year now and think what you picked was a good representation of our beautiful city
Oak creek canyon trail! And the restaurant, Javelina Cantina. It has one of the best patio seating and delicious of course 😋
Omg what nice, straightforward tips. You lay out some very nice options!
For omelet lovers, the Coffee Pot restaurant has over 100 varieties to choose from. It's an area institution and has an old-timey feel that the newer places lack.
I love that place!
I love the coffee pot restaurant!
Coffee Pot is iconic!
Yes! It's awesome!!!
I'm going to visit this year on a weekend! I live in Arizona and don't even get out much but thats going to change in 2022! 💯🙏
Absolutely loved Sedona.. stayed at The Cozy Cactus. The Bell Rock right outside the rooms. It was a BB the ppl were nice and the food was great..2005
From Boynton Beach and hiked the BOYNTON Canyon. I was out west for one week. Hiked the whole time.. beautiful. Everyone should go at least once in their life.

Great info. Your video has me so looking forward to my upcoming trip - thanks
You left out Mariposa restaurant not only is the food amaizing but the view when you sit on the patio is beautiful highly recommend especially during sun set or when it snows my wife and I went when raining and the clouds on the red rocks are just mesmerizing.
Great video, one of the best tour videos i've seen.

I will definitely go it looks amazing and blows UK
Hola desde Texas, USA✌❤
In 2005 I was living in Tempe, AZ. I went to Sedona to attend a Spanish AA convention or gathering. I went to the Catholic Church and it was beautiful. I would like to go back and visit the energy vortexes. I hope you get to visit one day. ANIMO👍
You always share great spots, our vacation home is in Sedona and we still haven’t seen or had the chance to see all the great finds you listed. Sometimes just taking it all in is enough and we leave more to see for our next trip. Thank you for all your great videos!
Great video! I had the chance to visit Sedona a year ago and loved it. Such a unique destination to visit. I went out to Scottsdale this past year for the first time and really loved it. Arizona really is a great place to explore. Thanks for the great video, and see you in our travels.
I've been there multiple times with my wife. Beautiful place to visit. And if you're a mountain biker like myself, one of the coolest places to ride. Miles and miles of technical riding. Amazing place.
Planning a trip there in August. Thanks for the video & tips!
Super informative and love the scenery. Great video all in all. Thanks! :)
I was in Sedona in May many years ago, loved it, high energy place to be, see all the vortexes, wondaful place to hike, as no humidity. The huge rocks do radiate a lot of heat, so I would avoid summers there. If you are from Phoenix area, then it may not be that bad in the summer for you, it's all relative to what you are used to.
Excellent video, thank you for doing this, really appreciate it!
Recently returned from our Sedona/Grand Canyon trip, Sedona is beautiful with the Red Rock beauties and the amazing hikes. I consider myself fairly fit for my age and I hiked all over Sedona with my 21 year old daughter. After hiking the first day with my SLIPPERY NIKES, I went out and purchased Altra gym shoes with the rubber sole, it made all the difference gripping the rock without slipping. We did Doe Mountain which was lovely. We also did the devils bridge hike which I found a little more challenging because of the long walk to even get to the uphill climb. I would definitely recommend going to the Church and also Antelope Canyon was worth it. The Grand Canyon was nice to see once. We also went to slide rock and I have mixed feelings about it, it was a beautiful creek BUT very very slippery almost everywhere you walk, I kept thinking that someone was going to fall and hurt themselves, many people had the water shoes on which helped a little but not much. I couldn't enjoy myself there because it was so dangerous, so keep that in mind if you want to visit. My family and I found the food in Sedona to be below average, we did go to Hideaway House and Picazzos, but I can't recommend, and Javelina Cantina forget about it, 2 dirty glasses! Enough said.
Go hiking everyone!!
One of the best places on our planet
Went there on our Honeymoon. Loved Slide Rock!
Thank you so much for those quick and insightful recommendations. I've only been to Sedona 2 times and visited some of the places, hikes and restaurants, but didn't know about many of the others. I may be going there this Sept of 2021 so this is perfect to give me some good suggestions!
Shopping in Sedona is always fun for me! Crystal Magic and Mystical Bazaar on 89A are my favorites.
Thanks for the great video, Marna
I just discovered crystal magic onlineand going to phoenix for 2 weeks in January. Looking forward to go to Sedona.
I love the Mesa Grill up on the airport mesa. Great food and spectacular views as a lot of the restaurant has large windows instead of closed in walls.
Awesome, I wanted to get there but I didn't make it on this trip!
Loved it there! Excellent food! Steaks and burgers are off the chart! Wonderful and very friendly staff!
Wow what a fantastic menu; what did you eat Denise?
I loved this video. It was so helpful, insightful, and informative. I thought all of your choices were fantastic and really interesting. The food looked so much better than what is served in my town, Ashland Oregon. You were a great presenter and explorer, and it was great to be able to explore with you. You have a personality that is open, friendly, kind, polite and grabs your attention. Good luck and abundance. Make more interesting videos! I subscribe. I thank you for this video.
Your video was very helpful, went to a few of the spots u mentioned and had a great time hiking and spending time in town!! Thanks so much
I saved every one of these suggestions in my google maps! Can’t wait to see them all!!

I love this town! I’m a Utah and Arizona gal. It’s been way too long since I’ve been there, I miss it.
Miss you AZ and especially Sedona ,I felt like I was in the wild west :)
