I noticed that time in the game lags relative to your switch clock. If I play for a while, I could save at dawn and restart without messing with the clock, and it would be evening.

You're not describing the method right, which is why you don't show ghosts spawning at night, and why ppl aren't able to replicate the bug you described.

This work for me in the regular game, but didn't work in the DLC for some reason.

Yeah for some reason this doesn’t always work with the DLC. That being said, it seems that when it’s night in Paldea, it’s day in Katakuri and vice versa so you do have sone control over things that way.

@@BridgeFourGames I tried that twice to se if I could do something about it. But nope. And I waited 30 minutes as well for the day to pass but nope. I got mad lol. So I ended up just playing bdsp quick to tranfer Illumise witch is my last none ledgendary from the dlc dex. So I got what I needed, but its sad for those who needs the day to change like for the dex. Just like Illumise they only spawn at night. Idk why it is like this. I just hope they do something to change it.

Yeah it's being pretty annoying all of a sudden. I want to shiny hunt applin and have an outbreak up but I only want to do it at night cause day in Apple Hills lags hecka bad and hurts my eyes. I don't know if gf finally patched it or what but I was time manipulating and now I can't 💀

Try again. If you're closer to time changing naturally like dawn or dusk that can impact it. You may also have to experiment with different time jumps like 15 or 45 minutes but I assure you it does work.

I believe this has been patched. This is an older video so Im sorry for the confusion. I do recommend trying all tricks like this without having any sandwhich buffs or timed boosts going on just to make sure they do work - especially if you haven't done them before.
