Not to be too critical, but the blank pages for bleed through are a bloody waste and a cheap filler. If I’d buy it, I’d feel robbed. Because in reality it’s a lot thinner than it appears at first glance. Similar to getting a glossy fashion magazine where over half is ads. Again, not to be too critical, but a better route would’ve been like you said thicker paper, or what I thought was just include one loose bleed sheet.
I feel that it might be a clever idea if you left the blank page empty, but encouraged people to draw their own work inspired by the piece they just coloured.
All of these books are great, but I totally have to grab that one by KiraKira. It'll be nice so have something small and low stress to colour in at the end of the day. The other books are beautiful but looking at a lot of detail stresses me out a little lmao
QueenKrissu I’m so glad someone else has the struggle about high detailed coloring books! There’s so many “destressing” adult coloring books that are crazy detailed and it just causes me more stress to do than not at all!
That's exactly the reason i was put off with a adult coloring to help you sleep book. Some designs were just so detailed it wasn't relaxing to try and color it
As someone who does lineart and not really much of anything else, they are the legit level of coloring im on. Even if I create a really detailed drawing its not really made to be very colorful if in color. Im strictly lineart. So I love cute simple little coloring pages like that because I can color and not be stressed as much on how colors will look together, while also being able to have the freedom of experimenting with all sorts of color combinations.
QueenKrissu No kidding. Adults got shit to do. We don’t have time to color a thousand skinny lines. That’s not to say I wouldn’t buy Peter Draws’ coloring book just to have it though - I definitely want to get his almanacs first though. I’d really love to have one of his original sketchbooks, but his work goes for pretty high dollar amounts. He’s got a funny way of pricing his work too - you should go check out his shop on his official website. You’ll get a giggle out of it. If you watch him at all, it just makes sense as something he would do.
As someone who has worked in a souvenir in house art department for 15 years I can only guess that Kendall's book was made through a wholesaler. The unfortunate thing about printing with Amazon is that you don't really get to choose what paper. :( So for those of us who use them for our books, we're stuck with at most two options, but often just one. They also don't allow too much freedom with pricing. BUT it saves you from having to do any work yourself (building the books, shipping them, etc). I wish they'd expand, especially since it's becoming to popular to print coloring books with them. :/ That's why I tend to push my digital copy instead, so people can print or transfer on their own paper. draw with jazza has a digital coloring book, you should try it if you're interested!
I love coloring books! I hope you make one eventually. I enjoy the simple, cute doodle illustrations as well.
*Please don’t take this as hate because I’m really not sure! But why did Kendal ‘make a colouring book’ if she didn’t do any of the drawings? If it’s funds goes to the charity she supports that’s amazing!*
I know I'm way late on this but another artist I love has a lot of coloring books out. Her name is Mei Yu, if you haven't heard of her yet. 🥰 Escaping the real world with coloring books, or just coloring in general is relaxing.
Good information! I'm working on some coloring books, and this was helpful!
Wow I was speechless while looking at the art of Sakuems, it is soooo clean and beautiiiful
MissUpacey has a digital colouring book! She does some wonderful art, I’ve been following her for ages and her style is so captivating~
Christine Aldridge is absolutely amazing! Her work is so beautiful and calming. Please check out her books and etsy.
You should make a bun bun coloring book! 😄
Amanda Rose oh my god i would love that
gabriella lorenzi right!
Holy moly, the Sakuems coloring books are insanely gorgeous! All of them are super cute! Thank you for showing these. I might have to get a few. 😊

Thank you for this good review. I just bought the books of sakuemo. I'm looking forward to printing and coloring them. Really interesting video. 🤩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 thank you so much. Best regards from Germany.
I’m thinking of purchasing a kirakira book and the water color one. Thank you for the video Baylee ❣️
I actually have one of Sakuems prints on my wall, too! Well, she was a featured Artist in the March ScrawlrBox and I really LOVED her print :) I actually just used your discount code to get those two books with water colour paper. Never tried colouring with water colours, so I'm really curious to try it :)
I love Peter Draws! I bought an electonic book and was able to print them off as needed on the paper of my choice.
Digital colouring book artists; Bennett Klein, Mae Klein, Rob Roskam. Other youtubers colouring book artist(s) you missed; Johanna Basford. I will edit this as I remember more.
I’m happy that in the Kira Kira colouring books they don’t have any patterns on the other side so that you can colour in pen as well as pencil
i actually really want Kendall's lol i love her! and Sakuems looks amazing too😭 too bad i cant affor any of them lol great video, all of them are great though!
Lol i think the highest quality here is kira kira's and peter's. Those are neat colouring books! That sakuem's one win on term of paper quality.
I actually laughed so hard when you said Peter Dinklage. I was listening from across the room and it made me snort 😂😂😂
Seeing you coloring the bears at the beginning is so satisfying 🥰
You should have your subscribers make coloring pages and then at the back of the book, you can feature some of their drawings. That would be awesome
Omg I love the Kira Kira ones! Never heard of her but I need them!!
Coloring Bliss has physical and digital books, Jennifer Stay is her name. Also, C. L. Aldridge does physical and digital coloring books. They are both UA-camrs.
Love her channel very informative love her drawings, she has different types of paper and she works on the same type of ipad as you. Worth checking her channel both on UA-cam and Facebook!
Thanks for the recommendation Terri! ❤️
@@JenniferStay You're so welcome! I love your videos and spend most Wednesday evenings with you.
I really loved the look of Sakuems' books. I wish I could afford to get at least one of them. Maybe another day. Great reviews.
I think you and drawingwiffwaffles should do a collab, it would be so cool!
I agree but I think they have very different styles, so it would be cool seeing how they combine the two styles
Yah, I think that because they’re both cartooony but sorta realistic but they draw in a different way so it would be very interesting
Tbh I'd love it if Baylee did coloring vids (coloring a coloring book page) with her copics. Its just so satisfying I'd spend a whole day watching them😂
Oh PLEASE make a coloring book!!!!
I was just laying in bed and watching random videos, came across this video and an now highly inspired to draw and practice with my copics. Keep up the amazing work!!
Coloring Bliss. Jen and Steve are an amazing married team. They have Facebook and UA-cam events weekly
Also, the "queen of coloring books" Selina Fenech has a ton of fantastic fantasy coloring books!! She's working on a cute new one now! She does have a UA-cam channel but she focuses more on her art, coloring books, and novels! (Highly recommend them all!)
I think you said bagel right..? Do I say it wrong ? 😂😂
Loved this! I was thinking of suggesting Create This Book but Moriah Elisabeth the first book is shown/explained in '14-'16, but this year is CTB2 with some great pages just starting.!!!!

I LOVED KENDAL RAE'S BOOK it is so aestheticly pleasing 😍 I loved it I can wait to purchase my own!
Baylee promoting more youtuber in one video than James Charles has in his entire career
😅
As the owner of both of Sakuems' coloring books I have to say that she has out dobe any coloring book I have purchased to date. I have over 100 coloring books. I purchased bothe the card stock and the water color versions and I LOVE them! I would also like to say that when I went to purchase the original artwork you have I was too late! I didn't even wait for the video to finish to head to her shop to buy it. I was still too late. I was so envious when I saw it pop up in your video. Even so I was happy to know that it went to a good home. 😄
Yes, her books are such good quality! Aww I feel kinda bad for snatching that original art from under your nose. XD
ooooh thank you !! from a colorist with such a big collection it really makes me happy to hear they are great quality :) ! sorry you couldn't snatch the original of The Seer, Baylee was hella fast ahahah
@@Sakuems she was indeed. I had to settle for a print. I also purchased several of your other prints. I simply love your work! I really enjoy your coloring books although I could never do the artwork justice.
I LOVE Baylee’s new avatar and I don’t know if this was intentional or someone else has already pointed it out... but.... doesn’t it look like exactly like that one type of Snapchat bitmoji?
Moriah Elizabeth has two create this books, there more along the lines of sea lemon’s but from what I’ve seen there quite fun
