The White Witch Gypsy Queen of Rock !!!! I've been in love with her and her music/poetry since 1975... Not to mention her fashion !! Rock on, Gold Dust Woman !!
Stevie is the queen! Every guy wanted her to be theirs and women wanted to be her as she was mysterious and gypsy like. Stevie is a poet and master songwriter. She decided to do solo work because each member of Fleetwood Mac had songs for each album so she had material that couldn’t get on a Fleetwood Mac album. “Leather and Lace” with Don Henley is great! They performed it at her Hall of Fame induction. “Stop Dragging My Heart” with Tom Petty (RIP) is great. People do not mention it often, but Silver Springs (Fleetwood Mac) is beautiful. Stevie wrote it and it seems to be about Lindsey Buckingham. There relationship and breakup inspired some masterpieces. Also Landside still gives me chills. It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve listened to it.
Her voice is so powerful! I love Stevie Nicks. Very unique. A phenomenal talent! George is right. Talent like this doesn’t exist anymore, sadly. Immense talent…..her alliteration of the lyrics is so unique. Almost like she’s scatting or something.
STEVIE NICKS IS THE FIRST WOMAN INDUCTED INTO THE HALL OF FAME TWICE! WITH FLEETWOOD MAC. AND HER SOLO WORK!!! Woot STEVIE!! When I hear Stevie’s age, I think of Christie McVie’s age. At 53, I’m better looking than some, but I’m starting to hit the wall. HARD. But I had a few decades, I know what it feels like. And I happily pass it on to the next girl. I’ve been there. And youth is beauty. But I never had that kind of talent. None.
I think the biggest thing about Stevie Nicks’ voice is it makes you feel something. She sings with such expression and passion. Love the new set, but your background doesn’t really matter - I just love listening to your reactions. Thanks, guys!
Gypsi is a must. Live. She is so sexy, yet doesn't try to be. Her wardrobe is amazing. This coming from a chick from the seventies....she is the epitimy of cool....you go girl...
Boys, you NEED to see this LIVE!!!! (Official music video is of a live performance). Stevie is known as the "White Witch"("Good" Witch)... If she doesn't already, she'll have you under her "spell" after seeing the live performance!!! Also, check her out in "Gold Dust Woman" Live in Chicago(2009).... The performance is 32 years after the songs release and she's STILL able to put you under her spell.... at 60 years old!!!! The woman is truly MAGICAL..... Nice reaction guys!!!!
There is nothing like a Stevie Nicks song. She is still beautiful and sounds as great as she did years ago. Nothing like hearing her live. Stand Back and Gypsy are great too.
Your set looks awesome. Great song choice. Stevie is so unique. She is an icon. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-‐twice. Check out her duet with Tom Petty "Stop Dragging My Heart Around". Love your reactions! ❤🇨🇦
Yeah- and the WAY she looks at him around 2:58 in is CRAAAZY 🔥🔥Put it on 2:48 and jus watch her eyes and face CHANGE toward him... then she collects herself and switches back to “just singing”. It’s incredible. ua-cam.com/video/H5i7j0VhEHw/v-deo.html
Stevie Nicks has a voice like no one else on the planet! It’s so unique and haunting and powerful! Interesting side note...Stevie has said in interviews that a big part of her voice is due to a huge hole she has in the septum inside her nose. She said she did so much cocaine back in the 70’s and 80’s that the drug ate away a hole. She’s long since been sober but she has refused to have it repaired out of fear that any surgery on her nose could too drastically affect her voice so she just lives with a hole in her nose! She’s amazing!
I love watching you fall in love with the music of my youth. I was so lucky to see so many of these bands live during their peak; Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Led Zeplin, The who, Rolling Stones and on and on. Great time in music history. Rock on brothers
I have loved Stevie Nicks since Rumors came out in the 70's. She is one of the first female artists to be accepted by the industry, as a serious solo female rock and roller.
This is one of her best for me.. killer background vocals also. She also has a song with Tom Petty called Stop Dragging my Heart Around. If you haven’t already listen to it. You definitely need to see the live version. Live with Petty also.
Awesome, awesome live performer, solo and with Fleetwood Mac. They opened every concert I saw with The Chain. Just amazing. You seriously need to react to anything Fleetwood Mac live but especially The Chain.
I really like your reactions! Just right. Not over the top like others. Listening to you both feels like I’m with my buddies enjoying the music. Thank you both especially in these days with everything else going on. 2 thumbs up!
From the Songfacts website: Nicks wrote this song about the death of her uncle and the death of John Lennon. The line about the "Words from a poet and a voice from a choir" refers to Lennon. Speaking about the song in commentary for her Live In Concert video recorded on her Bella Donna tour, she explained: "I was in Australia when John Lennon was shot. Everybody was devastated. I didn't know John Lennon, but I knew Jimmy Lovine, who worked with John quite a bit in the '70s, and heard all the loving stories that Jimmy told about him. When I came back to Phoenix I started to write this song. Right when I got to Phoenix, my uncle Bill got cancer, got very sick very fast, and died in a couple of weeks. My cousin John Nicks and I were in the room when he died. There was just John and I there. That was part of the song when I went running down the hallways looking for somebody - I thought where's my mom? Where's his wife and the rest of the family? At that point I went back to the piano and finished the song."
Beautiful wall behind you!!!💜🎵🎼🎶🤟 Stevie Nicks will always be one of the very best and you'll never get tired of hearing her voice!!!! By the way...she's 72 now!!🤟🤟
EXCELLENT SONG👍 A song about a mixture of things: a boy in an affair with an older woman, Tom Petty’s first wife speaking a one- liner about Tom Petty being depressed over John Lennon’s death when she told Stevie”He seemed broken hearted, somethin was in him”, and the “17” was the age Petty’s first wife was when she met Petty- (Petty, his wife, and Stevie were lifelong friends)- this was all explained by Stevie herself in an interview many years later.
You guys should check out Stevie Nicks Live at Red Rocks concert from the 80s. I saw it when I was in High school in Hawaii. I Love the way she and her band and background singers perform.. Bad Ass concert..
The GREAT studio and touring guitarist Waddy Wachtel came up with that amazing riff which introduces the song and drives it forward. He and Stevie have remained close friends and Stevie has said that Waddy always makes the stage feel like a “safe place” to her....she always feels safe with him sharing the stage with her...
There was a concert Stevie Nick's live at the red rocks where she performed this in the 80s at the end of her concert .It was long but it was impressive.
Thank You,Thank You Thank You for your reactions and reminding me of when I was growing up listing to all this unbelievable wonderful fantastic music!!!!
Great to see you back, guys, and love your new set up - really cool, you must have spent a lot of time on it and it looks great. I'm going to spend a lot of time seeing how many album covers I can recognise! Anyway, Stevie Nicks is brilliant, she has a fantastic voice and this is a super cool rock song which she does such justice to. You certainly can't go wrong with her music and it's fabulous. Thanks so much for this reaction, guys, I love it. The covers I've spotted so far, are Fleetwood Mac ( Rumours), Jethro Tull Centrefold (I think it's the This Was album) Deep Purple (Machine Head and In Rock), The Who (Tommy and Who's Next), Pink Floyd (Wish You Were Here and Dark Side of the Moon) Led Zeppelin III and Queen II. They are all albums I or my brother had. That will do for now - not bad for a first go! Cheers guys.
If you can find it watch this live from 'The White Wing Dove Tour' It was the final song, last day of the tour, she was on it & emotional! She's still great, 'Live In Chicago' any song great. Love our Stevie 😁💖
That while album bella donna is perfect. Even the album cuts. After the glitter fades and leather and lace ( with eagles' Don Henley will give you a different slow version perspective)
Love the new set - so many familiar album covers from my teens & twenties 💕 Stevie is a powerhouse! Great duets with several singers including Don Henley, Tom Petty, and others 🔥🎼⭐️
You've fallen under the spell that is Stevie Nicks! No one escapes it!
Literally no one
The White Witch Gypsy Queen of Rock !!!! I've been in love with her and her music/poetry since 1975... Not to mention her fashion !! Rock on, Gold Dust Woman !!

She’s the only WOMAN ever to be inducted into the ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME TWICE!!
What an ICON!! ♥️♥️
I loved watching her being inducted second time. I grew up with her and she is part of the fabric of my musical life. ❤️
Her voice is so powerful! I love Stevie Nicks. Very unique. A phenomenal talent! George is right. Talent like this doesn’t exist anymore, sadly. Immense talent…..her alliteration of the lyrics is so unique. Almost like she’s scatting or something.
This song has always compelled me to drive fast and mad.
I think this is the best song she has ever written - you need to see the live performance.
And she is still beautiful! I swear she doesn’t age! ✌🏻❤️💙🇺🇸
Stevie Nicks just rules the Universe of women in rock. Period.
I have been in love with Stevie since first time I saw her perform July 4, 1976 at the Eagles Bicentennial Concert
It’s her fast vibrato and a slight rasp in her voice that sounds like an enchantress , sorceress, witch.
"She flirts with you with her music"
It's true!
This song is empowering!
Impossible not to move when listening to it!
Stevie Rules !!!! ♡
I cannot express how much you need to do, Leather and Lace with Don Henley. Drummer and singer of The Eagles. It's so beautiful!
STEVIE NICKS IS THE FIRST WOMAN INDUCTED INTO THE HALL OF FAME TWICE! WITH FLEETWOOD MAC. AND HER SOLO WORK!!!

I’m glad to see Queen right in the middle of this new background.
I have loved Stevie Nicks since Rumors came out in the 70's. She is one of the first female artists to be accepted by the industry, as a serious solo female rock and roller.
Her voice is mesmerizing
1:52 "She's different, man." Yeah, dude. There is NO ONE like Stevie Nicks. The real goddess, indeed! ❤

Julie, Yes this was also written at the time of her Uncles death and the John Lennon Murder so, it was a tribute to those guys.
You guys should check out Stevie Nicks Live at Red Rocks concert from the 80s. I saw it when I was in High school in Hawaii. I Love the way she and her band and background singers perform.. Bad Ass concert..
You boys are fun! Stevie? Legend. All if the Mac are legend.
I love this song live. She blows me away every time I watch it 😍
Love that Rock album wall guys ! Thanks for another great reaction 😊
Exactly!
How can you not just love these 2 goofball guys. And I say goofballs in a positive way.
If you really love Stevie, you have to listen to Silver Springs. Truly one of Stevie’s best songs.
Check it out live from The Dance concert.
Susie, you are SO RIGHT I watch that video all the time...chills...
Crazy how the lyrics from silver spring sound like more of a curse on Lindsey then and now it sound like a premonition
Great song.
How cool is it to see two guys hearing (and loving!) a song that I've heard and loved for decades. I enjoy your sincere reactions every time.
She has a huge solo career outside of Fleetwood Mac. She had some great albums and a few live ones too.
Love the new look of your background! Nice work guys, keep it going!
Great to see you back, guys, and love your new set up - really cool, you must have spent a lot of time on it and it looks great. I'm going to spend a lot of time seeing how many album covers I can recognise! Next should be ‘Gypsy’ or ‘Stand Back’. 👍🏻🎶❤️
Or ‘Gypsy’ AND ‘Stand Back’. 😁❤️
I said leather and lace.
If you can find it watch this live from 'The White Wing Dove Tour' It was the final song, last day of the tour, she was on it & emotional! She's still great, 'Live In Chicago' any song great. Love our Stevie 😁💖
The bass is classic.
That while album bella donna is perfect. Even the album cuts. After the glitter fades and leather and lace ( with eagles' Don Henley will give you a different slow version perspective)
You REALLY need to watch the live version of this! Like Rhiannon she goes off and is fenominaL!! Please please!
She's in her seventies and still performs like it's the seventies, she has barely aged or slowed down
Her vocals are great. That riff is challenging also!
Every time I hear this song, I can't help but think of the bar scene in School of Rock. Joan Cusak and Jack Black are hilarious!
Love the new set - so many familiar album covers from my teens & twenties 💕
Stevie is a powerhouse! Great duets with several singers including Don Henley, Tom Petty, and others 🔥🎼⭐️
I feel like I REALLY need to set-up a meet and greet with Stevie and George.
Great reaction!! And great new set!!!
Brilliant Bros.
Looks great
Such a great song. I turned 17 just a few months after this song came out. I suppose that would be the edge.
Classic
