kind of annoying to me personally i know this is only a small minority but i personally have exams until june 14th so i miss out on a lot of the start of final shape and echoes release. but anyway great video keep up the good work :)

Yo Mr. Kackis… I’m almost certain that in the cinematic trailer… there was a sniper that Linda looked like no land beyond that a guardian was using. So either A. I’m the only one who noticed this. B. I’m crazy and It’s not. Or C. Others also noticed it but didn’t say anything for some reason.
Well again, in a twid a while back, Bungie said caster frames were the only ranged sword attack, and I quote “For now” and you read over it, said it in your own words, and just skipped over it like nothing happened. So… am I the only one noticing these things or am I crazy? Are we just not going to talk about some things and are we just going to ignore them?
Could care less really. Releasing Final Shape in summer is a real downer for me. Never play much in the summer because there are a million more fun things to do.
My guess is we weaken the witness in raid , wound him and we finish him off in the 8th mission that unlocks after the raid.
She literally said the complete story comes AFTER the raid. You don't need to do the raid, a team just has to complete it and then the ending of the story gets unlocked.

Play the story, do the quest "wild card" and the raid will conclude the entire story! How can you rad this at 03:06 and think oh yeah you dont need to raid lmao...
To those who are confused about the raid stuff happening in FS:
once the raid is complete a final campaign mission will be unlocked for everyone to comple. That final mission will conclude the Light and Dark saga. So no you dont need to do the raid to complete the story or to witness its end.
And non Raid players should not have to wait for a fabricated event 99.9% of players care nothing about.

for the non raiders i hope we get a mission to kill the witness instead of a cinematic cutscene from the raid.
I'd imagine they have a story mission setup that utilizes the boss room and mechanics from the raid for the linear story players.
We'd get the last mission after the raid is completed.

you don't have to do the raid yourself, once the raid is completed the ending is unlocked, however I would imagine those who complete the raid may have a bit more to it than the ending non raiders will see.
Paying for a game and not being able to finish it until some sweats solve the raid AND being happy about it

This is like Forsaken with The Last Wish raid then, where the First World Raiders unlocks the outcome to Dreaming City, so even non-raiders aren't missing out, somewhat. They're probably wanting to finish the campaign within the first week.
I hope the raid is so hard that nobody beats it in the 48 hour window. Imagine the headlines that the newest raid is so tough, nobody could beat the contest mode. That would be pretty dope.

She said the finale is the content after the raid. Not the raid in itself.
What this says from Bungie is that the Final shape is really “ Echoes” the first episode only with the first few days of it the end of the Light and Darkness sage ending with the Raid. So the Narrative of the end has already started and the last 10% of it will be shown those first few days when the new season starts and concludes with the Raid. Then the real Seasonal “ Echoes” starts
I really hope they don’t lock the witness behind the raid. Best be the last story mission. Many people including myself don’t have a full raid team to do raids with
You actually want a story mission boss a la Oryx or Calus rather than the grand raid boss? I'm not a raiding fan by any means, but Leviathan Robot Calus was much better than Lightfall Calus and don't get me started on Oryx. The story Oryx fight was featured in the Raid Boss Oryx which was significantly better.
I doubt I’ll even have a chance to finish the campaign by then. I don’t raid much but I really want to do this one, so I’ll see if I can get a group after contest mode ends.
If after the raid everybody gets a short video the next time they log in(like the last raids), it could totally destroy(spoil) the end, because players might see the conclusion(raid end) before even starting the final shape story, if they have no time to play the story in that time(because of work or other things).

I feel like its very quick, but thats the point. We're racing against time to stop the witness, so it builds a sense of urgency in the player
and also maybe to entice people to rush in and buy the expansion before players get an opinion on the quality of the expansion... kinda hard to trust them
My two cents on the raid I think Contest mode will be super hard but for non raiders I do believe they will do something in terms of Dares 6 player match made with toned down difficulty but not raid rewards as a result
According to the leaks the witness is killed in a story mission that unlocks after the raid
Got a feeling the rewards for comleting the legendary campaign might drop within 10 to 20 levels below contest mode
maybe later we'll get choices of atifacts to equip
They will do it like in forsaken, after the fist team finish’s it’s unlocked
Another thing i remember devs saying is that they were looking to kinda remove the grind for content, or reducing it as little as possible, and moving solely for "light modifiers", like static light level and enemies 10-20 light over, having this as the actual difficulty stat rather than having the need for you to grind pinnacle to be on level
They shortened it to slow down cheeses.

If i remember correctly the same thing happened in beyond light. Season of the hunt didn't really start until a week after beyond light launched

I cant see any reason the raid would be small/easy as they stated also that for those not doing the raid you'll also get to progress/end the story in a different way later. So sounds like the raid will be a standard raid and likely 'another ending?' will be introduced as part of the 'season'/chapter (or whatever they are calling them, as I forgot already) still seems kind of disjointed though?
They should have just added a strong sub plot onto the story and made the raid around that sub plot, and then carry elements/fallout of that into the chapter/season so it would feel more cohesive, I guess we'll see how it plays out.
It makes sense to launch the raid 3 days after the campaign especially that the story will close with the raid.
I also have a feeling that a lot of people will be able to finish it even with contest mode.

The content map implies that there will be no artifact for the first week of the Final Shape...the new Artifact won't launch til Episode 1 launches in Week 2. That's kinda wild. They haven't done that since Beyond Light.
They said that the raid is what unlocks the final mission aka we don’t kill the witness in the raid and it’ll be like an all out attack that we launch after the raid to finally defeat it
i'm guessing we lose in the campaign, weaken the witness in the raid, finish off the witness in the post raid mission.
@@generalowen4344 not confirmed but it was from the leak that said about prismatic and destiny 3 so spoiler below if you don’t want to know.
But in the raid we learn that we can’t kill the witness because it is just the darkness not an actual living creature like the combination of that species into one so the only way we can defeat it is by pulling the darkness out. So after the raid a 12 man mission happens where we go in and rip the darkness from its heart and finally defeat the witness. But the statues we see are not the witness they are the actual darkness enemy’s and that is what destiny 3 is about we have 2 years worth of episodes which will be ending story lines for like xivu so destiny 3 can be a unique story on its own and not have to worry about bringing these characters back in place
Well only one person needs to be light level ready in the fireteam everyone else will match the high test light at that point
I just don't understand why they're telling us who the raid boss is and how it's going to turn out. i'd rather not have any idea why the raid is very early than know the witness is not getting dealt with for good in the raid/campaign. since the first vidoc that has been bugging me on why reveal such a massive plot point. i'm still hyped for it but would've loved if they didn't reveal THAT much. never before have we known the conclusion of the raid a year before it's released.

The final mission that starts after the raid was leaked a while ago (considering lightfall was meant to be the main ending before it got split into lightfall and final shape). Not guna spoil it but if it follows the structure of the leak which most of the marketing looks to be confirming then it’s guna be crazy as shit.
This might be the first raid that i attempt and actually finish. Pls bungie make this raid solo friendly.

I couldn't find any information to my question- can the Witness only be fought (and defeated) in the Final Shape raid, not in the campaign? I don't raid because they're just too long for me. The answer is make or break for me.
The ending of the TFS will show other universes where there are multiple travelers and other guardians. Thus setting up D3 to come out in early 2026

They never said they'll be multiple raids. All they said is that raids is where you usually fight the big bad guy in expansion. So having the witness in the raid has to happen.

I actually really like that the Witness fight is part of the raid. Hopefully that means that they won’t hold back in the fight. Was worried it’d be a disappointment like Calus.
How was Calus was a disappointment? Which Calus fight? Raid boss or story? I liked both, but story Calus was a bit disappointing compared to his robot.

Nah, Last Wish was like 16 hours to finish and if the raid is significantly harder, then I highly doubt more people will want to do it. I know you probably want a grand finale to the 10 year Destiny project, but if a raid is going to be replayed, its got to be fun. I hear a lot of people don't like doing Vow of the Disciple and Last Wish always bogs down at the Vault and then they just cheese Riven because normal play is just too crazy.
Wouldn't be nice of this next raid. Be so hard where you have to spend 10 days to even beat it.
