That final fight was brutal solo. Took me 3 hours and over 50 deaths. Some tips: dragonsbreath can easily bring down both bosses with a couple shots, Golden gun with celestial nighthawk is a free phase skip, and the side rooms where you grab the shields are extremely safe, especially during the poisoned air phase. There are two darkness conduits you can shoot without leaving the hallway to juggle refreshing your protection from darkness buff. One conduit is on the outside but can be shot through the fence since its area overlaps into the hallway. Also only kill the adds that are getting too close. If you kill them all, more will continuously spawn so its better to clear a few and focus on the bosses. Good luck to anyone who does this solo, maybe im just bad, but that last encounter was brutal.
I used Red Death, a fusion rifle and a heavy LMG (my standard loadout for the campaign) but your advice to stand in the side section during the second phase helped me tremendously. I don't think you're bad (I consider myself above average Destiny player) and I struggled with that final fight. It was tough.
I feel like solo or two is the better way to play legend campaign. I did it solo just because my experience with three players on lightfall was frustrating due to limited revives and stronger enemies. Last boss isn't so bad since there's plenty of walls to hide behind, it's just the stasis spam that's hella annoying. Oh yeah and save transendence for the little weaver dudes and the husks. edit: gjallahorn went sicko mode for me the entire legend run.
Yeah. It sucked. They really got the difficulty wrong. The legendary campaign was relatively easy (don't get me wrong. I was happy with the difficulty) then it just went to bastard hard for the boss.
I love this community so much. Two hours of attempts and I just had to search up a video this time, it’s good to know I’m not the only veteran who struggled on this fight. Insanely well designed fight too, can’t get mad at it aside from getting one hit suspended MID super cast. But that’s mainly from the second boss

As for weapons red death for healing, the new rocket side arm and a good linear fusion. If ur fast enough u can use the shield blast to damage the boss before the witness attacks you. once shortly after u break it's shield before the witness attack does any actual damage and once after the witness attack is finishing up. This will do a decent amount of free dmg, but it's tricky since they have the same amount of cover u do.
I'm running solo using Revision Zero crafted for PvE, Luna's Howl and switching heavy. Taking my time enjoying the scenery and the cut scenes. Having a great time!!! I feel for those who went through hell the first day. I started last night and my experience has been much better with no issues so far. Watched Kackis and the other streamers the first day and it was brutal for them all.
Warlocks!! storm grenade with getaway artist exotic and bleak watcher aspect.. each time you consume grenade you get bleack watcher, arc buddy and amplified..and it come back quick asf
I've been using the matiatoxia a bunch, with some of the aspects you get melee and grenade energy back so its pretty much infinite suspend. And the artifact mod that makes tangles explode bigger with strand weapons turns them into mini nukes.
On warlock, with getaway artists and hellion as fragment, having 2 “allies” meant that I only had to concentrate on the bosses and only shot a couple of adds. Came to the video as I was stuck on the end part running with the relic, I hadn’t realised there were areas of light that appeared infront of you the whole way so just held down the shield and walked right through it first time.

Im doing this solo legendary with a scatter signal, Vouchsafe and Leviathans Breath. Using prismatic on hunter which makes everything easy mode damn near. I have combination blow combined with a fragment that makes me invisible after melee kills. On top of my repulsor brace/Destabilizing rounds vouchsafe which also makes me invis due to stylish executioner. Winters Shroud so when i dodge it slows enemies. On top of having my Stasis super. Plus Mothkeepers for constant overshield and the blinding effect plus the damage. This is crazy. Ive had no issues with any darkness zones or bosses yet. Going into mission 4. This is very easy and i wouldnt be surprised if they disable prismatic for the raid. Its very strong. Especially on hunter. Its hard to die.

Warlock main here, if you really wanna be strong solo without having good weapons just use bleak watcher with devour and a getaway artist, stasis melee. super doesnt matter but i recommend nova bomb until you get song of flame...which is probably the strongest warlock super now its insane the damage you can do. As someone who doesn’t raid it kinda sucks we don’t actually get to fight the witnesses in the campaign if that helps needs to be a raid boss but still
Anyone on last boss tips:Satis is your best friend in that last fight definitely if you solo on a hunter just dodge punch a enemy then dodge punch him until you have no more enemies then just use grenade and snipe him in the head also throw down your super for free damage
Do you have to do the campaign on legendary the entire time to get the legendary rewards or is it specifically only for the boss fight on the last mission?
The hardest part bout this mission for me is that the game doesn't tell you there is a particular spot to use the shield for the duration of the Witness AOE attack. After the fifth death I just knew Kackis had the answer. Glad I was right.😅
Alternatively threaded spike or withering blade proc facet of courage to buff your light ability damage (meaning radiant and a debuff for nighthawk, other people will probably hit a weaken on bosses in team content so prismatic ends up being a better nighthawk subclass
KackisHD baby, I enjoyed this video very much very informative it is. I have one problem with some of these videos, I have been trying to figure out to fire the Aegis, and use the super as well, and no one shows this can you help?
Rick, you apparently have not noticed this yet, but Xur's items for sale have been viewable on DIM since the launch of TFS. Another Bungie screw up with Xur!
I thought I was gonna have trouble with the puzzles cause typically bungie puzzles annoy me. But these seemed fair at least the first few. Though I guess got lucky cause I didn’t know there was a specific order for that one puzzle with the light and dark plates
I love the videos that are like "Solo blah blah easy..." Then they start off telling you you need Anarchy or Legend of Acrius and some guns that only drop from raids... Or you need to do some janky exotic class item combo, fully knowing 99% of players don't have one.
Really enjoyed this campaign. I played prismatic Titan and it was really lackluster tbh. The new ult was a highlight of the class. Once I got that i just played void prism and it got way more enjoyable. Can’t wait to see what the raid is.
Bro thank you! Every single titan I’ve talked to has said the same as me…. Prismatic sucks! I’m literally so upset I don’t even wanna play snymkre. Watching Hunter and warlock just destroy everything so easy and I’m like well I’ll just play strand bc prismatic is so bad. Like who the eff though this was equal? Yo thanks Rick. The finial boss is kicking my ass hard. I think I’ll get it now
I didn’t know we was getting a strand rocket sidearm so I was happy when it dropped. Def gonna be using that when I get a good roll
Well I didn't know that Light level doesn't matter in the Legendary campaign. Thanks KakisHD!
Requiem slapped me silly on warlock
As a titan main, i hate the warlock jump and accidentally turning myself into fine paste with spirit bomb
just finished this campaign and yeah it was brutal for me. When i talked to my ghost it didn't offer any exotics though so i'm wondering if i accidentally did a part on normal. Can i go back and just do individual sections of the campaign or do i have to do the whole thing over?
I have the season pass but I don’t know where to get this rifle I’d love to know
I found running the campaign in pairs is the easiest as the ads are not as beefy but you also get support form your partner
As someone who doesn’t raid it kinda sucks we don’t actually get to fight the witnesses in the campaign if that helps needs to be a raid boss but still
So you didn’t finish the quest? You defeat the witness in the campaign
Anyone on last boss tips:Satis is your best friend in that last fight definitely if you solo on a hunter just dodge punch a enemy then dodge punch him until you have no more enemies then just use grenade and snipe him in the head also throw down your super for free damage
Do you have to do the campaign on legendary the entire time to get the legendary rewards or is it specifically only for the boss fight on the last mission?
all of it
Ive given up on the campaign sadly . I wish i had the patience.
The hardest part bout this mission for me is that the game doesn't tell you there is a particular spot to use the shield for the duration of the Witness AOE attack. After the fifth death I just knew Kackis had the answer. Glad I was right.😅
I have not played it yet but I use the hunter what exotic do you get at the end of the final shape on legendary
Bit of a silly question but if you've already completed the campaign on normal and go back in on legendary, will you get the better armor and exotic?
Yes
Can you make a guide for all the campaign secret chests for prismatic
Celestial nighthawk and DMT. Done. Oh also snare bomb makes you radiant and weakens target
Alternatively threaded spike or withering blade proc facet of courage to buff your light ability damage (meaning radiant and a debuff for nighthawk, other people will probably hit a weaken on bosses in team content so prismatic ends up being a better nighthawk subclass
Totally worth it, last battle confirmed raid will be insane
Is there anyway to get more fragments after completing the light and dark side quests?
KackisHD baby, I enjoyed this video very much very informative it is. I have one problem with some of these videos, I have been trying to figure out to fire the Aegis, and use the super as well, and no one shows this can you help?
The two builds I used for warlock was bleakwatchers+ getaway artists on prismatic.
And then a briarbinds voidlock made stuff trivial on legendary.
Ya titans don’t have that luxury bc our prismatic is dog crap. Full on trash.
I managed to solo it on legendary with my Titan, felt harder than Elden ring!
Great campaign too!
Strand an quicksilver is god tier. Hard to put down with all these enemies
I'm having alot of difficulty trying to get a strong solo hunter build for the legendary campaign.
What’s step 32/34? I have to do raid or excision?
Crimson/Beloved/Retrofit Escapade was my loadout.
To get the gear and exotic do you have to complete full campaign or just boss fight on legendary
Full legendary campaign
if i did some of the campaign on legendary but then did the end on normal can i go back and do it on legendary?
SO tired of everyone saying oOoOoOooooo it's So EaSy. This shit is hard for those of us that don't no life the game for 8 hours a day
I love the videos that are like "Solo blah blah easy..." Then they start off telling you you need Anarchy or Legend of Acrius and some guns that only drop from raids... Or you need to do some janky exotic class item combo, fully knowing 99% of players don't have one.
I’m struggling hard lol😂 obviously I’m here watching this video
Really enjoyed this campaign. I played prismatic Titan and it was really lackluster tbh. The new ult was a highlight of the class. Once I got that i just played void prism and it got way more enjoyable. Can’t wait to see what the raid is.
Bro thank you! Every single titan I’ve talked to has said the same as me…. Prismatic sucks! I’m literally so upset I don’t even wanna play snymkre. Watching Hunter and warlock just destroy everything so easy and I’m like well I’ll just play strand bc prismatic is so bad. Like who the eff though this was equal? There’s not even any builds for titan prismatic! It’s like warlock got the best version of stasis and arc lock put together and we got the worst of all our subs put into one class.
