Hey update. I did this exact check and sure enough I had a bad coil. I bought a new Denso coil online from some Toyota OEM place and I decided to change all spark plugs too with new iridiums. Perfect video to help me do this myself. I REALLY appreciate it man. 180,000 miles and running strong again.
Went to Autozone this morning and those codes came up so I made an appointment with Toyota this morning to look at my car next week. Then I found your video and went back to autozone and bought my coils and spark plugs. Even bought my own code machine. Will replace them all tomorrow morning and then will cancel Toyota appointment. I most likely paid for the parts what they would have charged for just labor. Thanks
And the sad thing is it wouldnt have taken them but 20 minutes to replace it, if not all. Then let it sit there to make it seem as if it was the necessary time spent before letting you know it's ready.
207,000 miles and just had 2 coils go litteraly a few hours apart. Felt it go from 4 to 3 to 2 cylinders. Still ran though lol. Took a few minutes to hit speed, and hills were no fun. Anyway, your video helped me diagnose which coils were bad.
