INGREDIENTS:
FOR POWDERED MILK METHOD:
4 cups of Water
12 Tbsps FULL CREAM Powdered Milk
(depends on the milk brand, refer to the instruction
at the back of packaging)
3 Tbsps Vinegar
1/2 tsp Salt, or it depends on your taste
FOR FRESH MILK METHOD:
1 Liter FULL CREAM Fresh Milk
3 - 4 Tbsps Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Salt, or it depends on your taste
YOU WILL ALSO NEED THESE TOOLS:
Cheesecloth (or any cotton cloth)
Food processor or Blender
Colander or Strainer

Guys correction lang, tanggalin natin yung term na "fresh milk" sa UHT milk na sinabi ko. Ang tawag lang kasi ng lahat sa UHT milk sa supermarket ay "fresh milk", kumbaga ginamit ko lang siya for layman's term para gets ng lahat. 😁
Ang "fresh milk" po ay yung mismong fresh na gatas na kaka-extract lang sa cow, carabao, goat, etc.
Sagot sa mga tanong:
1. If pwede ba ang electric hand mixer or whisk? pwede niyo pong subukan. Kaso bukod sa nagiging pino siya ay nagiging foamy or fluffy rin ang mixture niyo dahil ang hand mixer/whisk ay nag-iintroduce ng hangin, kaya magiging medyo "airy".
2. If pwede ba ang calamansi instead of lemon or vinegar, pwede naman po since acid din naman ang calamansi kaso alam naman natin na kahit pareho silang maasim ay magkaiba sila ng lemon ng "tangy" taste. Yung magagawa po ninyong cream cheese ay more on may kaunting lasa ng calamansi.
3. If pwede ba ang fresh carabao's milk? Sa mga nasa probinsiya or sa mga may access sa source ng fresh cow or carabao's milk ay lutuin niyo lang po nang mabuti para sigurado po tayo. Mas malasa or rich kasi ang fresh carabao's milk.
4. If kung ako ang tatanungin, alin sa dalawang ginawa ko ang mas nasarapan ako? Para sa akin, ok sa akin yung sa UHT milk (pero mas ok sana if fresh from the carabao or cow, mahirap lang ang access kapag nasa siyudad ka). Though pareho naman po silang masarap nung nagawa sa powdered milk.
Very timely, last night nagcrave ako ng Boursin dip na ang main ingredient is cream cheese. Try ko nga gawin to. Nagutom tuloy ako.😜🧀🧀 I am a big fan of cheese especially soft cheese and the funky the cheese, the better. Lol

This is similar to protein extraction, yung lab activity namin three weeks ago. Sobrang amazing and bango niya hahaha. Those curds are the casein, which is the enzyme found in milk.
