- Just a short video to show, in case you’ve never seen it before, how they fit a new windscreen. A bit nerdy but I found it interesting. 😁

Hi, I found it interesting anyway. 😁
Very interesting watching very skilled people do a good job.
I’m glad you found it as interesting as I did, sometimes I think I’m just a nerd 😂😂
Very enjoyable video.
Thank you 😁
Very interesting and surprising how much work went into changing that windscreen, keep the videos coming Sherralin always enjoyable take care and stay safe 👍
Thank you. 😁
Thanks again for a really interesting video. Really enjoying the varied content. I do love watching other people work.😂😂
😂😂👍🏻
First of all, a great video. Even though I'm not a lorry driver, I do find these videos very interesting. I have a conservatory which is attached to the back of the house, which has been up for just over 10 years. Anyway, at the base inside the conservatory, in the corner at the wall of the house, there's a hole appeared between the floor and the wall and slugs have been coming in🤑🤢, especially over the summer. I went to B&Q and bought a tube of cement type stuff, and had to get a glue gun (like the chap's using on your window), and thinking it was easy, it just went everywhere in that particular area. I did stuff some slug pellets inside the hole (which was about half an inch wide and 5" long. Not exactly as neat as the chap is doing his🤣🤣. But eitherway, it did its job. Its been over 12 months now, and not a single sight of slugs. Really hate those things. I know times have changed, but when me and hubby went on holiday down to Ilfracombe, we stayed on a large campsite, and we also needed a new windscreen as a stone had hit it and had a large chip in it. We contacted our insurers who organised a mobile window fitter, and the owner of the campsite was very kind and told us we could use his large barn to have the job done. The car had to stay under cover (weather was inclement) for 24 hours for the glue to set.
Yes they made it look easy. 😁
It is interesting. Seeing all of the parts just surrounding something like a windscreen does help to appreciate the amount of design that goes into modern vehicles and also why they are so expensive.
Glad you enjoyed it 😁
Interesting video. Remember some years a go had to have a replacement windscreen while at a delivery point. Know said @ 1hr wait afterwards but couldn't as journey back to depot
😁
didnt realize there was so much involved it was very interesting............
Glad you enjoyed it. 😁

Very Interesting And Detailed Video Please Keep Them Coming And Stay Safe Out There.
Thank you 😁
My 1st job when i left school, apprentice coach builder which covered that as well fitting windscreens side windows when they were fitted with rubber, doing the top deck was the worst 💩💩, back in 1979 giving my age away there lol ,is it good to be back. take care on them roads.
😂 It’s a long way up in those coaches with a piece of glass 🤦🏼♀️
Brill, this is in file, 'How do they do it' series. As an ex bus dvr I've had numerous bricks etc thrown at the w/screen, but none penetrated. I feel w/screen should be re-named cos it does a damn more than protect you from the wind!
I wasn’t sure if anyone else would find it as interesting as I did. 😁👍🏻
EXCELLENT TRAVAIL .
😁 Thank you
Those windscreen guys just love sun visors and stone guards. I was just wondering if you ever met Kay Phillips ?
Yes met her a long time ago. Can’t say we were mates but we got on ok. 😁
@@GBtrucklady I knew her pretty well from truck shows, and I was going to paint her Scania, but Keltruck and Commercial Motor got all political. Kind of using her as a woman truck driver poster girl, and painted it how they wanted it to look. If Kay had her way it was going to be black with a pink chassis, and Chippendale airbrush work.
@aussietruckphotosandmodels8510 😂😂 sounds much more interesting.
Enjoyed the vlog sherralin they certainly knew what they were doing!! Phew....stood so close were you a bit nervous 😅
😂😂 I didn’t want to get the blame for anything 🤦🏼♀️🤣😂
👍👍
😁👍🏻
Did I miss something since you got home from Ozzy land !!! When you left you had a yellow Volvo now you have a Scania ???
I changed just before I went on holiday. 😁
Yes...If its in the wiper line in Ireland it's a car test fail...☘️☘️
That’s it, same here. 😁

Same in AZ - but must be over
10mm for a chip.
Something new residents are advised
to have on their car Insurance.
