Interesting and informative as usual. I agree that going to London is fine for a few days but the rest of the UK has so many great historical sites. In the 10+ years I lived in Scotland I was fortunate enough to see a lot of England as well. York was fascinating..Stonehenge a marvel and I had to stop at Bishop Stortford just to take a picture of the name!! Keeping an eye on you from New Orleans, USA.

I used to drop the top bunk down for more storage.
I can’t reach the top bunk without standing on the bottom one so it’s better for me to put things in plastic boxes and leave it up…..until I get some leg extensions 😂🤣😂🤣

If you're looking for a 24V Hella-to-USB adapter, they exist. E.g. search "cliff-top-28w-motorcycle-usb-a-usb-c-hella-din-charger".
Re your rooftop A/C draining the battery, the low-voltage cutout may be adjustable. If so, setting it to the highest possible voltage should ensure that it cuts out long before the battery level gets dangerously low. Even if it's not adjustable you could test it in the yard to see what happens.

@@GBtrucklady The deluxe solution is, as you suggested, a dual battery setup, and this is a more affordable and realistic option than it used to be. A lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery would be the way to go (smaller, lighter and safer than lead-acid, and much cheaper in the long run). Prices have fallen since their patents expired. Maybe have a chat with whoever does the electrical work on your trucks and see if it's within what your boss would be willing to spend. You'll need to know the exact model of the A/C so that its power consumption can be found out, and to decide how many hours you want the battery to run it for (more hours -> bigger battery -> more £££).

Loving the videos Sherralin. I'll have to see if its my mate who lives in Arizona, Safford to be precise. Looking at the cruise ship in Portsmouth, I remember when I visited the States and whilst in Los Angeles, we visited the Queen Mary at Long Beach, and a cruise liner turned up. It really made the Queen Mary look very small🤣, and the Queen Mary is larger than the Titanic was, although not by much, about 15% longer and 28% wider. As you're describing what's going on with the reloading, I can hear my dear dad groaning, with his hands over his face, as you refer to it as a boat🤣. Should be ship. He was ex Royal Navy. Boats/ships are referred by the size of them, only a submarine, no matter what the size, is always referred to as a boat🤣. I've been on HMS Victory, and as you go down into the bowels, to where Admiral Nelson died, even me, at 5ft, was bent virtually in half because it was so low. My poor husband was 6ft 2inch, and he was nearly crawling on his hands and knees🤣. With 246 years of service as of 2024, she is the world's oldest naval vessel still in commission. I've actually just had a two day break to Grangemouth with both my step-daughters, and visited The Kelpies, and on the way back, we called in at Gretna Green. Both places worth a visit

Hi Sherralin, totally agree with you about the Dometic kettle I have the exact same model, my first one I got from Amazon, when that died after 3 years I struggled to find another in UK, eventually got the same again from a Belgian Boat accessory shop for €80.00, think you can still get them for MAN dealers in UK. One question and one comment relating to this video: Question, I once brought a fancy Scania from a lady,
When you were an owner/driver, I don't suppose you had a scania 400 2 x 4, full top and bottom spots, and factory sun visorspots. Blue(turquoise) cab with white pinstripe panel details, red lowers, also with white stripes, The reg was maybe S11 ?PD which you sold in about 2006? (I'd send an old faded photo but I can't work out how 😂).

Hi, no sorry that wasn’t me that sold you that. First one was a blue & white 4 series 400 ex Birds Groupage still with a BGS reg. After that was a Red bull blue 164 580, then a silver one the same but newer. After that a white R620. Non of them resemble the description I’m afraid.

Sooo, what model DAF were you driving and why didn't you like it? The new model XF with the PACCAR badged Cummins fitted seems like a good thing. Time will tell though.
No idea why Scania did away with the bed over the front of the cab, left fae more room to live and for storage.
I loved my 4 series.

You may be the only person buying their kettle and it's not profitable enough for them to continue making them. They aren't going to continue to make them just for you. All companies have to make a profit otherwise they go broke. They stopped making them for a reason you're not privy to and to be honest you're acting a bit entitled.
