It's the perfect place to live for someone who owns a plane. Where is this?

You make it look so easy, great job! I've been thinking about taking an introductory flight for $120

Don't think. Just do it. But it is addictive🙂

I'm not a pilot so I don't interact much at all with aircraft, but I find it very interesting that the steering wheels look like something a child would grab on at the amusement park. I see in the comments that this is an updated but older aircraft. The contrast between them and the updated, electronic dashboard instrumentation was what made me click on the link to this video. It looks so cool!

Ummmmm, we don't get to see the outside of the aircraft but that does not look like the cockpit of a Cessna 172. I have flown a Cessna 150 and a 172 years ago but I am pretty sure the 172 doesn't have a wraparound windscreen... I'm calling foul on this one!

It's a 1956 172, the nose is much lower and has a bigger windscreen than the later models.

@@rodstolaviation987 Thanks for sharing! I am up to speed now. Are those controls original? Has this airframe been restored-modified? Nice landing by the way.
      Keep the blue side up!😎

Do your research before you call foul! He says it’s a 1956, the C-172 came out in 1955. Panel looks very similar to a c-170, it’s predecessor with a few modifications.

@@KitYeeScott I got a reply from the guy. He was cool about explaining that it had been modified with a newer windscreen.

I had a chance to fly an early 172 with the low nose and johnson bar flaps. It was a joy. I always felt they continously made the airplanes uglier and harder to hand fly in every model thereafter. It was possible to grease a landing with these just about every time and the feel was superb. Gorgeous example.

That is not a 172. Enjoy your clicks.

C172 from 1956, you could easily search for a 1956 POH to verify that it is indeed a C172, this model has a great climb performance compared to other C172s.

    That's a 170 my guy, not a 172.

      No, it’s a 1956 C172 .
