Not to pitpick, but with 6s9 being left traffic, entry up the lake should be on the right side of the lake. Exiting the area would be typically be expected on the west/left side and NORDO is still legal along with the two a/c that mid-air’s at Johnson Creek, which still blows my mind.
Good point, but at this time there was a small firefighting TFR to the right side of the lake almost to the south end of the runway, hence the unconventional approach.
Stehekin is one of my happy places to be ….. gotta love the bakery and Rainbow falls
I'm not a pilot, but that looked like a pretty smooth landing. I've only flown in one small aircraft When I was a teenager, and I'm 72 now.
Pilot -- I know theirs an air strip around here somewhere -- lets go around again many this time I'll see it
Nice, but downwind?

Greased It Brandon!
Thanks buddy, I only upload my greasers haha. Lets go flying sometime.
Did they open it?
All clear now, on this day there was still a small TFR over the town and north side of the lake but the runway was clear.
