I use a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro joystick and Logitech flight pedals. Thankfully there is a cyclic trim in the sim, so the heli can be flown level and with speed without having to keep pushing the cyclic forward.
I have some parts coming in for my Winwing joystick that keeps the tension on the stick, but if you let go it stays where it is. Can't wait to install and try it out.
@@IvanSkyFlight Thanks. I think most people have a basic throttle and stick (Thrustmaster 16K) setup but I can't figure out how to make the throttle work like a collective.
Hit the link in the description. I go way more in depth on how to set up the controllers. Let me know in that video's comments if you have any questions.
help a few of us out and explain settings cause nobody has it right and or the pc version of the base game is garbage. When I payed for the H145 the settings are way different and way better. And in my opinion MSFS base game is the biggest money grab of a joke that has no detail for settings that work
Very good explination for a new starter.
Thank you!
Just found your video explain it well for a newbie here
Glad to help!

I have the Thrustmaster HOTAS ….. definitely going to remap the throttle to the control lever 👍🚁
Nice vid man.. that's makes me comfortable to transit to MSFS choppers 🚁👍🏼👆🏼
Thanks! I am super stoked about the big update!
I read somewhere that on some of the joystick controllers the springs can be removed so the stick doesn't snap back when you let go?
Yes. I have a Winwing joystick that I have set up in this fashion.
I like how one person expected it to me thank about a ball of air is under the chopper. Roll forward, roll backward ext…
I don't remember so much trouble with throttle and collective assignments in any other sim.
I think they have improved since this video came out. I do really like the per aircraft system that X-Plane has.
Thank you but could you make a video with the exact binds to use in game for someone with a basic sitck/throttle setup?
Let me see what I can do.

@@IvanSkyFlight Much obliged Sir, that vid made all the difference that I've recommended it!✌
