Basic MSFS controls for VKB Gladiator joystick

- This is a very basic explanation of how to bind the most important controls to the VKB Gladiator NXT EVO with SCG joystick. I show how to bind the aileron, elevator, and rudder axes along with the minithrottle. I also bind the flaps, brakes, parking brakes, and autopilot disconnect. Finally, I bind trim buttons for rudder, elevator, and ailerons.
You'll want to add more buttons to your setup but this is a start.
Thanks for showing the buttons on the stick. I've been looking for bindings nobody ever shows which button they are pressing, so "button 24" or whatever means absolutely nothing to me without knowing where it is. Sucks that MSFS doesn't have default controls for such a popular stick.
Great! Thanks do much for doing this, it's really a big help for a first time MSFSimmer actually getting into the air!
Thanks bud, this really helped me get in the air for my setup.
Thank you for this.
Thank you♥
Thank you for this!! I would like to know some additional mappings you recommend.
The vast majority of additional mappings are camera controls. I have an entire VKB Omnithrottle joystick just for camera control-from cockpit view, external view, and drone camera!
Thank you so much for this video. I was not sure of the compatility with MSFS and how to set it up.
BTW, Are you facing any rudder twitching issues with this joystick? I have had two Thrustmaster Airbus joysticks before considering Gladiator NXT Evo.
I use pedals so I have a profile with the twist axis (rudder) unbound. I've had "twitching" problems when two or more devices are both bound to the rudder and they fight each other in MSFS for control, so try to only leave one bound at any given time!
Thanks. I have got the Gladiator NXT joystick and it’s been great so far. Will surely keep an eye on conflicting commands but so far no complaints.
Are you able to actually use that mount on that glass table? I have a similar table and have been wanting to get a mount. Was unsure if a table like that could be used for mounting.
@@Radiant26 there's a 2x6 under the glass that provides most of the support
Cool video. But clean your desktop ffs...
