I have crocheted afghans for 50 years and this is geniuses….thank you so much for bringing this to us. Your tutorial is really great. Thank you for your patience.
That back post is how I do some of my "lighter" posts on my beanies, when I make them for places where the weather isn't as inclement as WI's. I'm already thinking of the mandala yarn cakes I have in my stash that I can use to make this for my oldest. He's in San Antonio, but they get some use out of thick blankets. And he appreciates my crochet projects. ❤
I came across this video as a youtube suggestion and I'm so glad I did. What an interesting technique! I might have to give this a try. Thank you for sharing!
❤❤❤ I just love Interlocking crochet. There are so many amazing patterns available. So glad you are sharing it!!!! Your pattern and blanket is so beautiful.
This is a blanket substantial enough that I might not mind if somebody calls it a quilt , ordinarily, I might strain my milk over it lol. You need to enter that into the next local art exhibition er something like that ...where I'm from we have the North Texas State Fair and Rodeo which includes an Arts Exhibition, with cooking, baking, sewing, quilting, painting, canning and arts of every kind., even a chili cook-off. I've gotten three blue ribbons but I still have not won that elusive Grand Rosette and Prize Purse. . . But I am growing as a needle/yarn artist, I'm growing. My purse was for a simple rectangle granny blanket, but I didn't know how to do the middle so I created my own thing how bad I know what I am doing I think I'm a genius for coming up with that center I did. It is far off the wall and it is "rigged"... but I made sure it looks like it's supposed to be that way, so there's that.
Brianna, that is absolutely GORGEOUS! That’s an heirloom to keep forever….🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕
Thank you 😘🥰😘🥰

Would it not be easier to do the chain 4 before putting the stitch marker in. Looks fabulous & 1 I would like to try. ❤️❤️👏👏🇬🇧
Is it me, or are the double crochets worked on the back actually trebles?
I was thinking the same thing
I think it's dc + ch1
They are not unless you are UK then a US dc is a tr…?
It's a slip stitch, then a double crochet. I thought the same thing too.
It's beautiful. To make this how many skiens will be needed?
For this blanket it is 2 skeins of pound of love and 4 skeins of mandala
I need to try this. I craft to donate to homeless shelters etc and this would be nice.
That’s wonderful!
