want to use some dish soap and as you can see says instantly custard grease that's what you want to do on your hood so when you're done washing then you want a clay bar the surface so
we got a clay bar here after we wash out the dish soap clay bar the whole area after we do that we have to put some wax on it luckily the Maguire's comes with a kit so we have a little sponge to put
the wax on a little towel to put the wax off but the turtle wax didn't come with any towel or anything so we're gonna use
this little sponge here it's really soft
it's really good doesn't make any
scratches and a really good microfiber
towel also you'll need a brush cuz if
you get some wax into the gaps just
brush it out that way it's gonna make
your job way easier so let's begin so
first you want to get the surface wet
and then put some dish soap on it okay
now I just want to spray it down and get
as much dirt off with the hose if you
have a pressure washer you can you want
the pressure washer
take some of the dish soap and just pour
it on the car like that now just take
your microfiber towel and start
scrubbing the hood making sure that all
the hood is covered with the soap set
all the grease and wax to be off the
hook the reason we're doing this is to
get all the wax that we put before off
the hood now just wash it off make sure
you wash all the soap off
now I just want to wipe it with a it's a
microfiber towel it's really good for
soaking up water so yeah I was drying
I'm gonna take a piece of masking tape
and mask it all the way in the middle
so now just clay bar this side on this
side so I used some soapy water just
straight on start clay bar
what the clay bar does is it gets all
the dirt that's stuck deep into the
paint out of the paint it makes a really
really smooth surface
now wash it down and to the other side
okay so I have finished washing it
there's no grease or wax on it so it's
ready to put the wax on this is gonna be
the McGuire side this will give me the
sugar wax I'd pop the lid get some the
wax
on the flying pad then I would start
spreading it all on the car make sure
you're doing it in straight lines so
just apply it all over the hood
so this McGuire's wax is synthetic wax
so synthetic wax is supposed to be
better than normal carnauba wax now just
give this about 10 minutes to dry ten
minutes later the wax is dry and ready
to come off
now we're going on to the next side
which is the me our fruit a wax side so
let's put the wax on this side just pour
some on the car and start smudging it up
with the pad
you about 10 minutes dry and we're gonna
use a microfiber towel to wipe all the
wax off guys after I wiped it off I'm
already noticing a difference in the
shine so look at this corner here see
how shiny it is
look at this corner here it's not as
shiny as that side so now let's see if
it's smooth well they said it's
extremely smooth wow I didn't expect
that this side actually isn't as smooth
as that side so that's another plus for
the synthetic wax now for the moment of
truth the water test we're gonna be
pouring on water and looking which side
the water slides off faster okay that's
fine pretty good that's pretty good it
slides off now I'll see this side moment
of truth oh this side way better that
side kind of tends to stay a little more
this time flies off right away that is
so cool
and also you're noticing the difference
in the little drops on this side and the
little drops on this side after about
five minutes as you can see the trigger
wax did way better on the water test it
slid right off didn't leave any water on
it but this one the synthetic wax did
but it was shinier on this side it was
smoother on this side but this side did
better on the water test so if you can't
worry about the protection the shine and
the smoothness this is the one for you
if you care more about water spots not
leaving on your car this is the one for
you so see the difference here this one
left a lot of water marks this one all
the water slid off if you guys enjoyed

I gotta give it up to you kid! You're clearly aren't old enough to drive, but I respect your hustle! Don't let any negative comments ever discourage you. And remember you will get better and better with more experience and time. But you're already off to a good start! Good job kid! 👍🏼
Dude that was the right comment to make.
Geez, our country is going to hell
I approve this message 👍🏻
@@borismcgillicutty3042 In a hurry I might add.
This kid is the BOSS! Much respect to kids who hustle! Good job, young man!
Jr Chris Fix .. 👌
I think just the same!!
As much as i can see i think that turtle wax is giving a deeper shine
Shake the negative comments off lil guy. This is the first video I've seen from this poster. First min watching I said the voice sounds a little young. I would love to see this kid in 20 years if he keeps this up. There's a lot to learn lil guy and your off to a freaking awesome start. GET EM!
better than most YT videos with wax comparison... good job man.
Also straight to the point.
Thx
This kid is awesome...reminds me of MKBHD when he was a kid back in 2011 when I first saw him. Way to go ahead young man !!
Thanks, Just as thought. It's Turtle Wax for me.
You did a nice job lil dude I can see you making future car videos 👍
maybe there is not that much difference between these 2 products however respect to your time and effort to let us know how it works, thanks
A hard working kid not on video internet. You don't see that a lot these days.
Why would anyone leave a negative comment? It's refreshing to see a young man doing something practical on UA-cam rather than playing Fortnite and eating surf pods!
just a heads up be careful with the dish soap you use because it can damage the clear-coat. Trust me I speak from experience
The soap itself is good to strip the whole clear coat and then using the clay bar. In my experience it's good to use for a full vehicle strip followed iron contamination removal, playing, compound, polish, and finally waxing
Im a professional detailer dish soap can be used for deep cleaning or when applying a new coat of wax or sealent
Washing your car with dish soap will not damage your clear coat but there are other factors that that will dish so will only strip wax it will not penetrate the clear coat
Love to see fans of Chris fix, good vid bud.
Thanks For 100 LIKES!!
you did a great job, of course some things will always have differing opinions from people.
Finally a video comparing the two waxes I want to buy. Thanks for the video!
Turtle Wax is the best because its stays longer and has better ultraviolet protection. You can't really compare normal wax with liquid wax. The Meguir's package design looks better though...
Very good instructional video, I would go with the synthetic, never tried on. Good show !
Props young dude, keep that motivation and build up that knowledge base!
How could anyone give this little man a thumbs down? Keep up the great work kid!
Hmm 🧐
Wish I had a kid like that.
Great comparison video
Your the man dude. Excellent hustle.
Wow. You certainly have a knack for this stuff. Keep it up dude. You're going to go places!
I think I am going to use that Ultimate Liquid Wax this weekend. Cheers!
Well done, I learned something from a smart young man.
Great kid! Thank you for showcasing the turtle wax. Will be waxing mine this weekend!
Good Job little buddy!!! keep going on!!!👌🏻
i wouldn't claybar unless you want to polish afterwards, claybar always leaves fine scratches behind. On this light color you probably won't see it that much but on a black or dark car you will
Keep it up!!! Good job
I was looking for this difference
Amazing review I use turtle wax and it’s amazing! Leaves my car super nice and shiny! Great video kid keep it up!!!
Great video, keep up the great work and you'll achieve so much in life!
You did better than the pros. Good job.
Chris fix ?
Antonio Lopez no its Chrisfix 2.0
FixBroz More like, baby chrisfix. Or chrisfix mini. Chrisfix Jr.
Exactly what I was thinking
Ikr these are his old videos 😂
Excellent video dude! Not too long, you got right to the point quickly. The Meguiar's is slightly better but a little more expensive. If you want to make a little side money, then sign up as an Amazon Affiliate and put an affiliate link in your description. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the advice, I will look into the amazon affiliate program.
Good comparison. Thanks
I love wax comparisons!
dope video homie, keep making videos and never give up on what makes you happy, always keep it real!
Great video little dude 😃🤙
I was looking for a good comparison video between the 2 heavyweights of car detailing
Like the enthusiasm and the effort. Keep it up.
it’s a young chrisfix! i love the tips you have, saved me time and money. Thank you
Polished my car today with turtle wax, didnt get the shine i was expecting. I am pretty sure i am older than you but you have taught me a lot through this video. Keep up the good work!
I don't know why but i get better results with the paste version instead the liquid TW. Been using it for years i moved on to spray sealants but i love using the old school paste waxes from time to time or maby i like spending more time with my cars lol. Bough the liquid TW once and after one run i never used it again.
Start them young into the automotive community 🤘🤘
A very good product review comparison
Great job Paul. A young car enthusiast! I prefer Turtle Wax.
Good Job Boy, keep uploading more videos for us.
I dont use that method anymore, I use three applications:
First: Compound
Second: Polish
Third: Wax
I got that idea from Chris fix, but still this is very useful and affordable. Thumbs up 👍
What brand do you use?
Thanks for comparison, great video
Tell your dad, he’s a genius! Great job kid!
I told him but he said he never taught me to detail cars.
@rc_ champ07 not even joking today is my 16th birthday
FixBroz HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Nice video! Few tips to get a better result next time 1. When cleaning the car use the two bucket method. Use a PH balanced soap formulated for degreasing (pretty sure chemical guys makes it). 2. Use iron X to remove the iron then rinse. 3. After you clay bar the car, wash the car again with a PH balanced car shampoo . Don’t go crazy. Also one more tip. Put microfiber towels under the bottles so they don’t scratch the paint. Enjoyed watching your video! Keep it up! I like that you cleaned the car out of the sun. Can’t wait to see what else you are going to post!
Thanks for the tips. I didn't use the the two bucket method because I was only washing the hood and I didn't need to dip the microfiber towel in soap again. When I wash the whole car I use the two bucket method. Check out this video where I detailed a whole car using only the chemical guys bucket kit. Also I didn't know that chemical guys has degreasing soap thank you for letting me know. Link to full car exterior detailing video ua-cam.com/video/nC3S-GEyFhE/v-deo.html
FixBroz it’s called Chemical guys Clean Slate. I think is like 15 dollars. But well worth it when you want a degreased car. Dish soap is super high in PH and causes many water stains and will actually stain plastics and Rubbers.
Yup might have to try it out. Dish soap is not the best.
Buen video, creo que me decidiré por Turtle Wax para mi coche, Good Video, I thing I will take Turtle Wax for my car, greating from Patagonia Argentina Kid
Thanks, welcome Argentina!
Meguiar's all the way!!!!
Yeah man
Glad to see passion on you, keep it up, you got my respect👍
Very cool, thank you, a polisher and wax from the leading company Miwarkz, it is very excellent👍👍👍
Keep up the good work young man!!Start your own business one day!
Excellent video ! All the best for your future endeavours !
Excellent job young man! Thank you for sharing 🙏
Nice job kid, thanks ! Love your drive !
My dad used to always use turtle wax on his 67 chevy c10, and I do too, best bang for your buck. Keep up the good work man, this video was really helpful.
Good presentation and lots of enthusiasm. 🎉😊
I loved your way of review , so detailed and very honest , its helped me a lot to decide which one better for me, thank you
cool test, thanks buddy
Nice !! But you do not need to use a lot of wax, actually you should apply a small portion...
Not to critizise, but dish soap is actually a compound to degrease. Formulated Car wash soap is a concentrate that is made to be gentle on your cars paint. Dish soap like you said is a degreaser which means that it will DESTROY your clear coat. Although you may notice a good shine now. In the future you will have damaged paint and NO clear coat. Not to be mean but your on a bad path :(. I recommend buying a cheap car wash soap like Big Orange by turtle wax. these products are not much more than a bottle of dish soap and they will keep your car looking nice and your clear coat intact. thanks for your time just wanted to let you know.
I used the dish soap to degrease the paint so I have NO wax on the hood for a fair comparison. I have bunches of different car soaps including Meguiar's gold class, Chemical guys snow foam, Chemical Guys citrus wash and gloss and much more. I only used dish soap so we have no wax on the hood for a fair comparison.
FixBroz Correct you are, but without a dilution of the dish soap you will have no wax which you want and also NO clearcoat which you don't want to take off. Only because you aren't properly sealing the car.
y
I love washing cars and detailing, even though I’m only 13. I thought no kid would love to wash cars, but you do. So good job. I also have my own channel (Jose Pastor). Keep up the good work.
Congratulations kid keep the good work going you are in the right direction.
this kid is going places! lol
Good video. Good on you lad
What a tough kids! like your video! Well done!
This video hands down one of the best ....respect ....
Good Job Bro thumbs Up ;D
Thanks kid, Exactly what I was looking for.
Good Job. Really well done video. I brought the marquises based on your review.👍🏾
Good choice. You'll enjoy it for sure
This kid has amazing presentation skills best of luck for future and yes video was pretty informative 👍👍
after using many different and expensive waxes,i am back to turtle wax hard shell, there is not any big difference.
I like the Meguiar's Ultimate Wax more because the Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell is hard to rub off after it dries.
yeah its true meguiars ultimate is synthetic wax and very easy to work with but i dont mind to spend a little more time and effort, the most easiest wax i used is turtle wax ice liquid wax, anyway you are doing a good job,i wish you luck and will be waiting for more videos.peace
Super Hard Shell also has cleaners, which is good if that is the only product you are going to use on your finish.
It's not surprising that Turtlewax repelled the most water, he used most of the bottle on the hood. I've used both and have found that on pristine paint jobs Maguires gives you a competition liquid mirror finish but Turtle wax is an excellent more economical alternative.
Thats right :)
I can’t imagine how cool / shiny this guys car will be when he turns 16
Raided by Samcrac subs..... nice vid, well done!!
Kid, No DO NOT use dish soap on your card. Car wash solution is formulated for automobile paint unlike “dish soap” also you should use something more like meguiars Iron removing clay spray or another type of clay bar lubricant . I’m not trying to be negative, I’m just trying to give you some constructive criticism to help you out down the road. Also when feeling your car after waxing use the back of your hand. But pretty good job
NEVER put dish soap near a car 😂
Gary Mckinnon nothing wrong with it dude it strips the wax and other grease agents so you can have a clean surface for clay bar , other wise you’re just gliding over the previous layers of wax when trying to polish
Turtle wax world famous
Great job kid! You’re the next Marc Cuban!
Need to know how many washes each will hold up.
About 6 months
Impressive review kid, you’ve got talent for this. Keep it up!
Nice work my dude
Great... tried a lot of products including these things u used on your vid.... but turtle wax hard shell is better for me... twax hard shell resist dirt more than other waxes...👌🏻
It's like Chris Fix Jr!
My Choice Is Formula1 Premium Liquid Wax... Never Brand Are Like Formula1
You are too very good. Kepp going, u can be better. I like your video and very interesting.
I'll go with Turtle Wax for the value, plus it still has the original formula75 years ago
circular overlapping motions while applying wax, not straight lines
jimmy roberts ahhh.. no. 🙂
Awesome review👍
The turtle was super hard shell can also be used on boats, so they designed it to be water repellent I guess
Keep Up. Good Job.
thank you
Amazing Job young man.
Chris fix will be surely feel proud of you
I showed Chris my channel. He wanted to send me some of his keychains
You and chris should have a collab video.
Good video youngster.
Fine job young man
