Your video is the only one I’ve found that honestly shows the struggle getting that 13mm nut off the driver’s side. Going to give it a shot tomorrow using your suggestion of the universal joint. Thanks!
It worked! I had to use a universal joint sandwiched between (2) 3” extensions to fish in between the washer fluid reservoir and the frame where the headlight is attached, but I did it! Thanks again!
Thanks for the video! Made me laugh when the new latches you pulled out were the very ones I just received to install on my jeep. Should have shown the harder one to remove first though. That way if you’re going to give up you’re not halfway done already. I didn’t have the universal joint adapter so I pulled the plunger for the hood light and was able to use a 6” extension with 13mm, seat it on the nut and then attach my socket wrench. Took some trial and error but still completed the whole project in around an hour.
What a PITA to get to those 13mm nuts! Also wanted to point out without the rubber spacers being reused you’re putting metal hood to metal fender which will rub off the paint eventually. Definitely want to have a barrier between the hood and fender!
Tip - adjust the music volume to a level that matches your speaking volume. It's annoying when all of the sudden the LOUD music comes on after you are speaking.

I accessed mine by pulling the grill forward. Take the clips off the top of the grill and pull forward. Still tight, but easier.
Thank you! Thank you!
Your welcome! 😀
TY - I was wondering why my hood bounced.
What size is the wobble head?
I used a universal for this video, attached the socket to the end... so it was a 1/4" adapter/wobble
@@JeepingForBeginners thank you

I am working on the sound on these... getting better as I go.... small learning curve. 😉
Thank you though, do appreciate the tips. 😀
