Wiring a 24v VR6 into a Mk1 Rabbit

Covering in broad strokes how I wire a 24v swap in a mk1. The same principle will apply to a 12v (AFP) or a 1.8t. This is not a step by step DIY, but it does have some solutions for commonly asked questions.

Great to see some video content coming thru in the last few weeks mate with some small details we may have not thought of.
It's so hard to explain exactly how to build one of these as we all have a different point of view and each build is never the same, specially when it comes to wiring. Shaved bay, clean bay, etc...

so when i do this swap on the golf mk1 petrol engine ill remove the whole golf 1 wiring then use the 24v vr6 wiring and computer box on the whole car??

@@mUsKI_63 the wiring from the donor car only operates the engine. The rest of the mk1 wiring is the same as it was.
