Mk3 VR6 Wiring Harness Pt.1 - Spaghetti monster needs a diet!

In today's video we are going to start working on the harness for our new VR6 project... no, not the Jetta... the other VR6 project. Wait, what project you say? The one I haven't told you about yet! It will be introduced on the channel as soon as it arrives. The logistics of acquiring it are still being finalized.
Anyways, we are going to remove the secondary air injection, air conditioning, and leak detection system components on this harness.
The purpose is to have a thinned down harness that will be just the essentials to get our VR6 running without excess components.
Did I mention the project car is blue? That should help yous figure out what it is right?

I’ve never stripped down an A3 vr6 harness, but I’ve done a lot of 1.8T’s.. It’s crazy how simple it becomes when you just stretch it out on the floor..
It’s harder to think about than it is to do

It gets less intimidating every wire you remove, and with a Bentley manual close by, there's no worries!
