Thank you so much for all your hard work. I’m surprised that someone like yourself with such fantastic ideas regarding iOS music., hasn’t actually sat down and designed your own DAW!
Fantastic Paul! Your continued refinements make our musical lives easier.. the tone packets, chord/cluster track, anticipations, clipboard, mixer + CC updates/additions are great.. you’ve definitely been busy.. hope you are well.. thank you for the new tools..
This is fantastic, love this idea of the chords and tone packets. Love helium and it just got a heck of a lot better with this amazing update. Cheers Paul!
Wow! This is very exciting. So many cool updates and the new Tone Cluster feature is really interesting - can't wait to try it out with the other apps. One of my favorite apps getting even better - it's like getting a surprise check in the mail.😊 Thanks!!
Hello, Mr. Paul. This is the question: in the written instructions, you clearly state that when it is needed to stop a recording in Helium, the stop button in Helium must be checked, and this works fine, but… if , by chance, you push the stop button in AUM, Helium crashes and all the recorded work is lost. Is it possible to change anything in Helium to avoid so? Sometimes is preferable stopping AUM, to stop everything at the same time. Where do you stand on this? Thanks !
I wasn't aware there was an issue with recording this way, but I will take a look and fix the bug. I've just tested and see that I've introduced a bug in the last release. I will get this fixed this weekend.
There is a sequencing bundle I released around 2 years ago, which does have the latest version of Helium but only hasDigiStix 1, but all apps in the bundle are the latest releases. Sadly Apple doesn't allow us to remove the bundles or update them with other apps. I've attempted to do so, but it seems Apple have put restrictions on being able to remove bundles.
I love what your apps can potentially do, but in practice I rarely use them. The reason is that the learning curve for all of them is incredibly long and tiresome. It would help very much if you could use a mouse when you demo your apps. You show us all the wonderful things that can be done but often you move through the steps so quickly the “how to” gets lost. I get that all of these steps are second nature to you. After all, you’re the developer. I am not. I’m a retired truck driver. I could show you how to downshift without using the clutch but if you can’t see that I’m using the gas pedal and engine sound to synchronize, it’s just empty talk. Please, please, use a mouse with your iPad during the videos so we can follow your movements. I’ve purchased several of your apps. I would love to learn how to use them without feeling like an idiot.
I usually put arrows all over the place to show where I've clicked and I assumed this was easier to understand than a tiny mouse cursor. Point taken though.
A big update. Thanks Paul, hope you're keeping well!
Thanks Paul. This is a great update.
Incredible update. Thank you very much!
This is Genius. Love the new chord mode. Just updated will try later when I get back from bank.

Saw the update this morning, there’s so many new features I’m surprised it’s not a new version. Wonderful app, 🙏.
Very Interesting 🤩Thank you Sir Paul for your unstoppable efforts making your apps even better than they were 👍😎👏👏
Brilliant new updates Paul, can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with Evolver😀
Really cool update. Can't wait to see what Jade, Leela, Leo and Doug are going to do with this. Thanks, Paul.

Ahh, you've been busy😀😀😀
Yes indeed. It's been a while since I updated Helium, and I think I've added some nice additions and changes.
@@PaultheMusicMan Agreed 👍
Wouldn’t it be nice if Paul scheduled a weekend workshop where he could demo several of his wonderful apps for the attendees?

Does Helium have an option to randomize the velocity and humanize the chords drawn in?
No it doesn't, but that wouldn't be a bad idea to have this feature. I will add it to my list.
Does the 4Pockets midi bundle come with the latest versions and updates? I don’t think all bundles do.

Any love for us PC DAW users, any chance of a vst3 version?
I'm an iOS developer who loves the iPad. With only one of me I simply don't have time!
@@PaultheMusicMan That's a shame your apps look very inspiring, would certainly have bought them, all the best, and all the best with them.

The mouse does really help
@@PaultheMusicMan yes I prefer the arrows.
