Great vid, really enjoyed this one. And fair play on calling time on those DLC bosses 👏👏👏 you can still answer the 'Can you beat' question with confidence!
I remember playing Dark Souls 1 and getting bombs and throwing knives early on. I used them and thought to myself "I bet you could beat the game with only these" until I reached a point where most enemies flat-out resisted the knives and the bombs became unreliable due to the weird throwing arc and them not scaling at all. Then in Dark Souls 2 they scale with your stats and are actually pretty damned good tools to bump up the damage, specially to huge clusters of enemies, add the elemental variety and you have these creative ways of dealing with enemy groups. Then I played Dark Souls 3.
11:39 I have! I was doing a boss weapon only run and went into this fight with the giant's greataxe. It was torture. Not just this fight. The entire run. The biggest problem with that run was that I couldn't upgrade my weapons that much and even when I could, I knew I'd just be replacing it after the next boss anyways so I never upgraded my weapons unless it was absolutely necessary.
I'm actually playing through DS2 for the first time and got through Shrine of *&%#! yesterday. Glad to see that my experience is not uncommon :D Well done getting through with just F-bombs!

Great job dude! Insane videos. Its just a matter of time untill you really blow up
Many DLC enemies/bosses do have high elemental resistances, but the real problem is flat ranged damage reduction which applies to pretty much everything ranged from spells and arrows to firebombs. Most enemies have pretty much double elemental resistance against ranged attacks. Ironically regular elemental weapons can work just fine as long as you work around specific high resistances.
Fun fact: acid in ds2 actually has a use in pve. So what it does is when the invisible acid bar fills on most enemys you'll here a noise and once that happens they take more damage i think around 10% more and it works for both acid surge and corrosive pots

Discovered your channel recently and i gotta say it's really nice . Keep up the good work!
That sonic drowning music brings back memories and immediately makes me anxious
I like doing Darksouls 3 and Bloodborne challenge runs, but I can never even think about doing the DS2 ones.
your channel's gonna grow so much King, these vids are fire!
and capitalized too! What a linguistic evolution.
I kept ignoring this video but now I see a new channel worthy of watching
"32 bosses, thats INSANE"
*elden ring cackling in the distance*
Great vid, really enjoyed this one.
And fair play on calling time on those DLC bosses 👏👏👏 you can still answer the 'Can you beat' question with confidence!
11:40 I feel attacked
And here I am watching these (again) and waiting for DS3 Firebombs.
I should probably watch these in order...
3:32 i will because i like to think that powder kegs are *HUGE* firebombs.
Lemon meringue pie sounds good
Sometimes I think about playing Dark Souls 2 again but then I remember The Shrine of Amana and decide to play something else.
Lifegeams may be slower to use than Estus, but I prefer them for how you don't stop dead in your tracks using them.
11:40 Oh, how little he knew, the danger to tempt the gods of dark souls
It took me some time to realize u were attempting ALL bosses... I already saw some shit about soulslike challenges, but that was crazy.
Throwing knifes only run?
11:39 I have! I was doing a boss weapon only run and went into this fight with the giant's greataxe. It was torture. Not just this fight. The entire run. The biggest problem with that run was that I couldn't upgrade my weapons that much and even when I could, I knew I'd just be replacing it after the next boss anyways so I never upgraded my weapons unless it was absolutely necessary.
Amazing show.. I’m rewatching all vids!
I'm actually playing through DS2 for the first time and got through Shrine of *&%#! yesterday. Glad to see that my experience is not uncommon :D
Well done getting through with just F-bombs!
Lemon: "Why do I feel like I swallowed a hive full of bees?"
Me: I once had that, but it turned out to be an entire bag of Takis.
"The most Dark Souls 1 boss in Dark Souls 2."
I'd probably say that about Raime or Ivory King instead lol.
8:50 I guess you could say that was a 'neGATE attack' I'm funny.
I just found your channel and your content is awesome! Don't worry you're gonna have a great Backlog for when you get popular
The spelunky music really ties it all together
Respectfully, I use your videos to help my insomnia. Something about your voice is soothing man. Keep up the great work!!
i legit watched today all of your dark souls video. It was one of my best days for a while. When i looked at ur sub count i thought u have 980k subs and not 98. And im a bit sad now because you deserve much much more subs. Or videos are so well made its insane. I really hope for some more dark souls 3 content and i cant wait to see some Elden Ring content. Great job dude! Insane videos. Its just a matter of time untill you really blow up
So glad I found this in my recommended as I didn't get the notification.
Captain Phillips!!…..
I understood that reference.
YOOOO NEW BACKLOGS VIDEO
I love the avatar designs man. 🙏🏽 Iconic
Watching this the 3rd time now,a year later still charming. 👍
Fun fact: acid in ds2 actually has a use in pve. So what it does is when the invisible acid bar fills on most enemys you'll here a noise and once that happens they take more damage i think around 10% more and it works for both acid surge and corrosive pots
