I got so excited with Pro Tools Aux I/O implementation for OBS purposes... until I found it was MacOS exclusive :( Then I found your video and got excited again, it worked perfectly. Thanks a lot!
You are the man! Thank you for this. 3 days of trying to figure out how to do this and your video was the only one that worked for me setup wise. Liked and subscribed.
Yo thank you so much man I was literally on twitch streaming learning pro tools with the chat but they couldn't hear anything on pro tools. Your a lifesave 💯💯
Might be a dumb question. I’ve gotten everything set up. So obviously when I stream I want people to hear my talking voice with no effects (to explain to them what I’m doing). But when I arm a track to record, I don’t wanna hear my talking voice anymore… I want to only capture the audio from my DAW (the audio in the daw that I’m recording live) . How can I go about that?
@ItsKontrast you can make a separate track specifically for your vocal and use input monitoring on that track. If you have metaplugin on your master that should work. If you end up getting feedback loop issues you may need to disarm your vocal during record. That might be a little tedious but an external board helps with that kind of workflow.
So I followed these steps a few days ago and everything worked great. Now when I open OBS and follow the same steps, it's not sending any signal to OBS. Wondering where I went wrong?
you have to make sure you open the plugin in both your DAW as well as OBS. Also make sure the routing is correct as it will reset after ever time you close it.
Did you figure this out? It should be downloaded to wherever your DAW scans for plugins. Pro Tools scans a few places but the main on is the Plugins folder in Programs/Common Files

thanks for sharing this mate but i was wondering if I want to play live via protools would there be any latency?
yes you'd have to sync your audio and video
FINALLY AFTER ALL THIS TIME!!!! DOOMER STUDIOS FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!
Glad to help 👉😎👉
Dope Video Bro thanks !!! Im up and running now
How do you get your plugings to show up on OBS? i have everything else set up but my plugins do not show up on my captured screen
Not getting audio in obs when try this
Make sure you have the filter on an audio input, not an output, and that reastream is set to input
@@DoomerStudiosTV so I need an audio input also right. I saw it in video just didn’t see you set it up
@@tonymaranzano add an audio input in OBS and put reastream on that. In metaplug put it as a local output

Brother is didn't work for me
Worked perfectly- thanks dude! I purchased it and the settings stays. Just wondering why you put it on the obs audio out capture?
That's what worked for me lol

Do you download megapluggin to any certain spot

rutracker instead of the official site to get DDMF is all i’m gonna say
It worked.
Guess this doesn't work for Pro Tools Studio 2022?
Hello, thanks for the nice guide but i cant find the plugin in my protools first. Is it only work with the studio version from protools ?
did you figure it out?
@@stripsbeats yes, it's only in the payed version from protools
trying to find mac version of reastream

"Plugin is regularly bypassed for a few milliseconds."
