Yes amazing, his parents even forced him to go back to the philipines while he played at barca, there he studied medicine and then he came back to barca. Crazy times.
What about the other side of Asia? I know most of them did not play in Europe but players like afif from Qatar Omar Abdulrahman from UAE Also a lot of Saudi players from 1984 to 1998 who played 5 asian cup final in a raw and make it to round 16 in World club
Yes thats true, there were many excellent players. But we talked about the 5 best of all time and even thougg players like Afif were constantly good in their league it is hard to be one of the best ever if you didnt play consistently in europe at a good club.
I dont know what you mean. If you mean Ali Daei, of course he was great, but his career was not comparable with any of these players. It's just a fact that east asia produces the better players.
I can understand why you think so, but you have to see Son as a individual player. Of course he hasnt won anything, he broke so many records as a asian and that with Tottenham. If you look at these players individually, Son is the best.
@@Topcorner30 football today is a shadow of what it was in Park Ji-sung days, especially in Cha Bum-kun - the golden era is somewhere in between them. If either of those players played today they would be putting up better numbers than Son. The game is just much easier now, more breaks - less physical contact and better equipment.
@Kyle-uz1rp history bias. Son is far better, even Cha himself admitted it years ago. By this point Son has cemented himself as the best ever. Come on bruh, most Koreans disagree with you.
@@jayvaldez9295 Thats because they are biased, as a cacausian american I can give an unbiased opinion. Son is not as good if he playes in the 90s,00s era - park ji-sung would easily be able to contain son - in fact he is basically the only defender who was able to contain peak messi - which was not hard for him because the generation before Messi were just better players in general. People are disillusioned since modern play has less contact and more skill it gives the appearance that players are better but they just are not.
Son is also only 1 of 6 players in the history of Premier League to have 3+ seasons of 10+ goals and assists.
this paulino alcantara is a crazy guy, he was a doctor aswel lol

He's also soldier participated in Spanish Civil war 😅@@Topcorner30
Park ji sung and Shin ji kagawa. Because they play for man utd.
Accurate

Sunil chettti
Top scorer national
After Messi and Ronaldo
Lol 😂 Against Bangladesh and Nepal?
1 goal against germany = 30 goals against nepal , bhutan, maldives or bangladesh .
Nah wrong
Ali daei has more he has 268 goals 1 Bundesliga
2 German league winners
Runners up in champions league
Paulino Alcantara is also not unknown to Filipinos. Which is quite sad, they much rather invest to a sport they do not have talent with.
Park best won 4 premier titles, let Son proof and leave Tottenham en win some.
Titles are important, but you also have to look at the individual achievements. But yes he should maybe leave Tottenham.
change the title to Eastern Asian players there were lots of better players on the other side
Not really, who would you suggest?
@@Topcorner30 improve your knowledge you would find at first step cuz it’s too obvious at last in national goals

lmao son is not the greatest asian player of all time, bump him down to 4 and your list is accurate.
