Ronaldo did not have the best career but the 100% R9 is by far the most talented player ever and at 100% when he was a talent he did outscore everybody. This video is not the ULTIMATE COMPILATION. There are more player that reacted about R9.

In Germany, football is like part of our national culture. And I think it is fair to say, that German football is among the most established in the world. Back in the day, there was no internet etc, and ofc, through world cups and euro and uefa, you had a pretty good picture of what is out there. You knew Brazil, and ofc Argentina and Maradonna and you heard about Pele, etc. You knew club names like Arsenal, and Barca and Ajax and Man United and Inter... But, we did not care that much, because Bundesliga was providing enough really outstanding figures at the time, including the emperor of football. And then came R9. He turend the world around. Suddenly we cared much more, we were all amazed by Brazilian kids playing in the streets, suddenly, Brazil felt like this mythical place where world class footballers are forged, dont forget, R9 came along Ronaldinho, Carlos, etc.. Every kid wanted to play Brazil, wanted a yellow shirt, wanted to be R9. Suddenly, Bundesliga felt a bit boring in comparison. At that time the whole world repeated one name constantly: Ronaldo. The real Ronaldo. He was a phenomenon, the only phenomenon. Sure, Messi and CR7 are great. But experiencing the dawn of R9 in the world of football, and seeing him play, back then... No one can reproduce such jaw dropping moments. We watched to see him do magic, no one cared about the outcome of the matches, it was ALL about him, when he played. This kind of general mood and consensus and draw coming from one single player, was a thing of the century. And it will likely take another century, before anyone comes along, who can captivate the world of football again like R9 did.
@@104thironmike4 this comment is beautifully executed!!!! I love this! I can attest to that R9 brought a new wave of love, and appreciation to the sport. Literally brought people and nations together, bc as a whole, we were experiencing him together all at the exact same time. What a time to be alive, it was like a new beginning. I’ve seen hype around football and football players but never like that before.
@@OutRegisTV Thank you! After writing the comment yesterday I went back in memory a bit and rewatched some footage, and then I remembered: we actually did not care about his goals, we were amazed by his dribbling, etc. But what we were all constantly waiting for, was for him to go off like a rocket. Like, it is hard to describe nowadays, but just imagine, R9 is about 3-5m behind the 4 fastest defenders in the world, all of them are sprinting, fast, in the same direction, towards the defender's goal. The defenders are running very closely together to build a wall. And then it would happen. Suddenly, like a switch being turned, like someone pressing the nitro boost, R9 would take off. And I literally mean take off. It was unbelievable, not only would he catch up to the defenders, mind you, all of them being in FULL sprint, he would blast through them - all while dribbling the ball, in complete posession - overtake them, and then he would find ANOTHER freaking boost button, and get even faster and leave them behind. NO ONE, no other player on earth could explode like this. No one. This was the epitome of watching R9, his inhuman ability no one could believe, even when we saw it, right there, in plain sight, right in front of our eyes. It was alien, it was not human what he did. Dribbling, scoring, passing, playmaking, yes, all of that was crazy good. But him outsprinting EVERYONE in full control of the ball - was really what made you rub your eyes over and over again. R9, the forever GOAT. While others count trophies, points and goals, he will always be the one who could outrun them all, with 8 knee injuries, a desease and overweight, lol. At his lowest, he was still above the peak, of whatever the year's goat's peak it was. Even my girlfriend, who never cared about football, when you say Ronaldo, she will immediately think of R9, never CR7, and will say, "yes, Nazario." Just because she grew up in that time. If you did, no Ronaldo can replace that image for you. Even if you never cared about football at all.

I am 44 years old now I am a football fan since I was 10 years old or something. This guy made world class defenders look like its their first day in a human body. I remember seeing the 17 years old Ronaldo playing for PSV when PSV played against Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA cup. Must have been 1994 or 95. Less than 2 weeks later, I saw him score a Hat-Trick against their biggest rivals ( he played for Cruzeiro, and scored against Atletico-MG). I saw him go through the worst. @OutRegis TV, this is my only comment on youtube ever. I comment this, because what you said at the end of this video, is exactly what I think about R9, the greatest, best, most amazing, ever. No one hated him, no one disliked him! For all other players there were or are always discussions among professionals: he is good, no he is not so good, i like him, i don't like him, he is very good but.... but for R9, every living player loved him, he was loved by all. Messi is the goat but Ronaldo is the best football player I’ve ever seen. The world of football wasn’t ready you a player like him. He was a gift from God
Messi was a good player with a longer career, but if you ask anyone who isn't a tv pundit and older than 35, would you rather have (prime) Ronaldo or messi in their team?? 99% would choose Ronaldo.
The great R9 , words can't do justice to describe him , my GOAT for ever , new generation will never realize how good he was , I watched football since 1994 and I saw him before knee injuries , he was like a glitch from universe that had to be corrected by injuries , he was unplayable , I watched also the likes of Messi and CR7 but he easily outpasses them , Messi is naturally gifted also and is unique but R9 was different man he was like a super hero , an alien who took the ball and runs straight into opponents defense with his weird body feints and stepovers and while in full speed not while standing and this is a huge statement no one talks about , THE GOAT

Even if you never cared about football at all.

im following football actively since the 1994 world cup. from the players i have seen r9 is easily in my top 5. he did exactly what i wanted to see ( at least i like to think that, because he did things nobody had seen before xD). he realms in a league with messi, dinho and zizou. for me he is only second to lionel. but all those mentioned gave me what i wanted and is hard to describe in words. the way they moved...

Messi is the goat but Ronaldo is the best football player I’ve ever seen. The world of football wasn’t ready you a player like him. He was a gift from God
@@ChasingRyou I can respect your opinion.
I can see why you say this 🙌🏾
He really was a gift from God 🙏🏾
Messi was a good player with a longer career, but if you ask anyone who isn't a tv pundit and older than 35, would you rather have (prime) Ronaldo or messi in their team?? 99% would choose Ronaldo.

@ highlight reels just don’t cut it!
@@Marco-jo7vc R9 is simply unmatched in my opinion!

@@krystouszappi1212 ABSOLUTELY!!
A man with talent so overwhelming that his body couldn't keep up with his game. There are players with better careers out there. But if we're talking exclusively about peak, there are not more than 3 players in history that could be mentioned in the same breath as him. And I genuinely think that he might be the best of them all.
@@_sstalker great comment!
I’ve always said that his talent level, and physical body couldn’t keep up.
That’s a lot to ask of the human body haha
What are the other 3 players you would put in his bracket…
I’m intrigued 👀
Sedorf described him to perfectly.
@@captainsparrow8435 he really did!
In my opinion, it’s the best description I’ve heard when discussing R9.
Desailly is so humble. He completely owned us in 98. Best defense ever. Poor Edmundo didn't know what to do...
@@ricardocima HAHAHHA
I hear you!
Desially doesn’t get the love he deserves
Everyone is talking about his 2 major injuries but nobody about his disease. If R9 was in a topteam on 100% he would outscore everyone. Before his injuries he did outscore everyone. And he did not reach his full potential so he could have been better that is logical.
@@gi0vanni220 I agree whole heartedly!
What we saw were literally glimpses.
But those glimpses were simple majestic!
I can only imagine what he would have accomplished without injury or disease.

Do you think his time at PSV cause the disease he would end up getting, taking those enhancements drugs because the medical staffed deemed him "too frail" ?
@@Via_Satellite it’s so hard to tell looking from the outside in.
Only those with the inside track will truly know what happened to details
It could be a possibility though…
I hate how people try to say Messi or CR7 are better 😂 it’s just ridiculous this man R9 was a genius! The fact he was known as the phenomenon in the toughest era in football full of top tier players (especially the defenders of that time were next level compared to todays) and having 2 career ending injuries and still won a World Cup is legendary
@@Imhighinparisbro to compare R9 to anyone is for entertainment Purposes only haha
I love CR7 & Messi.
All unique in their own way.
But R9 is on an entire different planet!
@@OutRegisTV I feel you man I just think football in the 2000s wasn’t as popular as todays so kids don’t know better they don’t even know who zidane is lol I get it every era has star players who push the sport forward but in my opinion the 2000s was speak football nothing but amazing goals I haven’t seen nothing extraordinary as of late these new games put me to sleep

It definitely lost some personality, and individualism.
Unfortunately…
@@Imhighinparisbro great comment by the way, thank you!
Please do not compare R9 with anybody. R9 is above Messi and CR7. Messi himself said he used to sit and learn from R9. Cr7 does not have the technique or skills R9 had! We all know that R9 is the true GOAT!
@@gilfernando7623 there is no comparison!
Not even close! 🙌🏾🐐🇧🇷🙌🏾
I just realized,
If i wanna play and enjoy much football i wud like to play with or against players like Messi, Ronaldo, Zidane, Maradona, Ronaldinho etc and
If i wanna play and win the game at most, i wud like to play with players like Cristiano coz he gives goals, and great stats ultimately….but rest of those players r natural, magician, n great players who aced this passionate game of football and mastered the game.
I don’t see those kinda players as great because of the trophies they won or the stats they contributed. It’s the way they play that hypnotized me and hypnotizes me always when watching them play. The pleasure i get watching their play. Winning trophy comes at lower category as many of the reasons for them being greatness.
