@@TenelenTheScrub I use collectables if the mats aren’t really expensive, then use the the gc turn ins, beast tribes, leves, and deliveries to supplement things getting out of sync. Everything is almost to 90 and I’ll hope to get to 100 by the end of July!
They help *SO MUCH*. Anytime I go to gather anything I start by placing them down. It just helps you turn your brain off a little and makes it way easier to put on a video and just gather away.
Been loving your videos so far, very to the point and they cover a lot of good info. Even as someone who's been around for several expacs now this was great to make sure I didn't miss anything. Keep it up!
Level 91 collectibles are by far the easiest / fastest method. It's frustrating needing to wait until almost 100 to open up the 2nd city to do these turnins, but once you can, the levels flow very easily, and you get purple scrips as a nice side bonus.
@@Vert_Vert yes, you can turn them in to any collectible appraiser, but as far as I know, they don't become available for turn in until you've visited the 2nd Dawntrail city.

Yes! Sorry I kind of spaced on putting a fishing section, but I honestly have never leveled fishing other than via Ocean. It's just too easy and fun to do!
I might be missing something. I have the level 90 scrip gear melded with the recommended Team craft melds, but I cannot do the timed collectibles as they just don't appear for me. Do I need to grind to 93 first, or am I just missing something lol. I do have the last city unlocked and finished MSQ
What level are you trying to gather at, and what level are you? I can't remember *exactly* how much of a level difference you can have, but I think at 90 you can do the 91 Collectables only (but you may need to be 91 to turn them in). Sorry, I'm drawing a blank on exactly how they work, but you should be able to gather up some of the level 91 ones and use the gathering to level to 91, and then turn in as soon as you hit there!
Hey! You have the best content. I was wondering, do you have any recommendations for melding the level 90 scrip gear to make sure I can continue gathering? I only hit 90% on some of the early materials with the gear unmelded.
@grantparajuli7115 Teamcraft has a Meld set for the 90 Scrip Gear here: ffxivteamcraft.com/gearset/02HxlyUc1up8RiXLdBUn That's what I would use in your position!
@@TenelenTheScrub Thank you so much! I was trying to find this but couldn't, only just started using Teamcraft because of your videos. I really did not think about collectibles for gatherers that seems much better than levels, especially because there still is a bunch of msq to knock out
Right! I actually only did the four collectables I listed for all the way to level 100 as well. I just turned my alarm on while I was doing the MSQ, and grabbed them while I could between Cutscenes. It was the easiest level 100s I had done yet. Even if you aren't able to turn them in, just gather them while you go and store them on a retainer for after the level 97 MSQ!
@@TenelenTheScrub Collectables can be turned in at the collectables person in Radz. I'm only 1/3 of the way through the MSQ and have been turning them in as I go.
@@sheerlux_ DUH! I didn't even think of that; even before you unlock the new hub? Welp, my poor retainer inventory, oops Do they have the new folklore books too?
I have the ilvl 590 gatherer set. How realistically can I use collectibles and leves to get to lvl 100? The goal is to level gatherer's to 100 then crafters then craft a decent set of 100 gatherer gear (I have scrip crafting gear so i'll just BARELY be able to do it)
I would bet you can get to them to 100, it just might be a little more time consuming than having slightly better gear, but to be honest I would just do it if I were in your position. I think replacing your gear *just* to level up to 100 might be too tedious to bother. I would definitely recommend looking at low level 90 materials and gathering those up while running as many EXP buffs as you can, and see if you can do Leves as well. The level 91 collectable *might* be completable, but I would have to check your stats against the minimum required. Don't forget to do GC Turn-Ins, and Custom Deliveries though, because those are way less gear dependent and can get you some fantastic EXP. Also, you only need to be level 95 Crafters with the ilevel 620 Scrip Gear with some melds to craft the level 100 gear! I detail it in this video here: ua-cam.com/video/91F7A4q6Y6I/v-deo.html
