How more stable is the wacom stand versus the vesa mount Xoot? It's still a single vesa mount on a 24/32 inch 29lbs tablet. Is there significantly more wobble with the Xoot?
Chris, the inventor here... I made a video that goes over the stability between three arm types (Wacom Ergo, Ergotron and XOOT) for a Cintiq 27 QHD. See ua-cam.com/video/S7crR8kI0sA/v-deo.html. Basically the Wacom Ergo stand is slightly more stable than the XOOT system. The Ergotron arm could not really be compared in terms of stability (its just too unstable).
I use the Ergo stand with my Cintiq Pro 24 and I'm basically happy with it as far as providing a good drawing experience. Agree that it takes up too much room on the desk. The Xoot is smooth and sleek. Would love to pre-order, but $700+ for a stand is out of my price range for now. Enjoyed your video.
Hello. I am writing through Google translator. Unfortunately, not very English. Thanks for the video. How much does it cost you not new? Can I buy it in good condition? 16 pro
Is the Ergo stand really super stable? I always work with the tablet a little bit above the desk to slide the keyboard under it, but I cannot stand it if the thing is shaking even a little.
Yes, it is. Zero wobbling and completely stable. At the moment, there´s no other option made with the same stability and quality. I was always against buying it because of the price, until I had the opportunity to try it at a store. Now I think is the best companion of my Cintiq Pro 24
I know! I was so bummed to hear it didn’t get off the ground. But…I just heard they made some changes to the stand and are going to reintroduce it at a cheaper price. So fingers crossed that works for them!
I just ordered the Cintiq Pro 27 but I just don't have the money to buy the 500 dollar stand. Can you recommend a sturdy vesa mount stand for the Pro 27 that is more affordable to me...? Thanks for your video and time.
The XOOT system is beautiful, but heavily over-engineered. No one needs a powered stand IMO.
By the time XOOT release their hardware 1.0 the Cintiq's will be completely redesigned.
They are advertising on Instagram and asking for reservations currently. Vaporware?
Heh, a new Cintiq 27 has been released.

Wacom Ergo Stand is clearly the winner here for me

Interesting that it is still not out
Dang, it's been two years. 😕
hey man can you tell me how high the bottom edge of the cintiq pro 24 stays above the table with the ergo sstand? like the maximum possible height?

2 1/2 years later and the Xoot is still not released. You might as well take down this video.
