Wow I am glad that I found your page. I am trying to get my body in shape right now. I am going to work out every day. I started seriously on January 1st and so far haven’t missed a day. I am currently 175lbs and would love to loose 20lbs. I don’t feel comfortable when I wear certain clothes especially when it shows up my stomach. It's all mental...and you gotta be realistic AF with yourself and embrace the fact that its gonna be a transition.. try out things as you go, and as you find healthier choices make them your new faves ..prep for your new journey way before your start date..pick a realistic to your life start date, and if you're clueless,about diet or exercise then research research research before you get started, so you're clear on what you're doing because diet and exercise is the only way....clean your kitchen of killers before your start date,tell close loved ones of your start date so they are aware and when they see you taking it serious, they will support you seriously.. If you're working out at home, have your gears and or workouts,and a time schedule planned before you start.or if youre going to gym make actual days,schedule to go before you start. Be over prepared for the life change! Because it's new and foriegn and you're gonna have to incorporate it into your Familie life, and if you're solo..then even better! Being prepared and realistic with my journey gave me the very best results, and the payoff is so rewarding, you begin to feel so fearless and Beautiful, it's so worth it !
styleswifebitch It does. The time that I was my skinniest it was because I didn’t have a car and I was taking the bus and walking all over the place. To and from work. I am eating healthy but I’m not losing weight as fast and that’s because I have a car now. And yes I have been going to the gym for like 30 minutes today. Walking does make a ton of difference! I think it’s because it’s not about calories is somehow boost your metabolism is what I’m guessing.
It just takes that one pic to make you realise that you really need to start loosing weight right...trust me I know. Hence my health & fitness journey that I’ve just started. @@christiana749 yes! I lost 900 grams so far in 3 days without exercise. Just by doing my daily stuff in college. If I loose 1kg per week that means I'll be down 20 kg in 6 months which also will be the time I'll graduate.

What I do is buy the halo top ice cream. It only has 280 calories for the WHOLE PINT. So you could have some of it and it very low in sugar and fat so that would satisfy your sweet temptations

There are calorie calculators online! Use one of those to calculate how many you need as a sedentary person and start logging your food consistently. Helped me!

Hey kiddo, did you feel like you grew more idk how to describe it but like saggy/jelly-like? Cuz ive seen a lot of people who lose weight but they have excess skin afterwards and resort to surgery interference
I'm not a professional whatsoever but I believe that usually happens when people lose a LOT of weight super fast (not that 20 pounds isn't a lot but I'm talking like 50-100 pounds or more) and if they lose it really fast, the skin doesn't have time to readjust and tighten so it stays stretched as it was before they lost all the weight. hope that makes sense

FAT IS NEEDED FOR PROPER HORMONE BALANCE. Now--if you imbalance your hormones your cortisol goes up, you store fat in the belly and thighs. Most women do not want that. So eat healthy unrefined fats. If your dr. has you on a low fat diet because genetically you can't metabolism fats well, or had your gallbladder removed, then reduce your fats. I reduced my fats thinking it would make me loss belly fat and it didn't. I gained more fat there, lost fat everywhere including my butt. Not at all what I wanted. So I started doing research and found out 1) I'm emotionally off because my fats are too low--I upped fats using avocado and unrefined coconut oil...I feel so much better!!!! 2) my belly started going down! yay! I can tell my thighs are slowly slimming down again, yay! So ladies, do your research and experiment. You don't need to do low fat. Women need around 30g a day on a regular diet. I'm also sleeping better and by the way coconut oil has medium chain fatty acids which help burn stubborn belly fat. :) You're welcome.
Once we understand loosing weight is 85% diet and 15% exercise....we can do it👑

Don’t pay attention to the scale. Trust me, it’s toxic. You could be losing fat and gaining muscle.
2 weeks is barely enough to reduce some bloating... Just focus on your lifestyle, you'll surprise others with your results in a few months
