Good life? What's good about living in a place where there's nothing to aspire for, besides living everyday to just put food on the table. There's a big world out there and Ariam, as a child, shouldn't be doing hard labour to help his parents. Some might call it a cultural thing, I call it child slavery
Arian's father: "Every parent has to raise their children to be hardworking, honest and kind" Seeing Arian help his mum prepare meals, go fishing with papa, and chop wood to keep the house warm is heartening. Wish there were more kids like Arian and more parents like his in our world. Then maybe we wouldn't have so many of the societal problems that are deeply troubling us these days. What a beautiful family!
That's because even though Russia is a capitalist country this and some other regions there have a lot of autonomy and people kept their traditional ways. These people live unalienated lives, they're deeply immersed in their environment and in what they do. They can see and feel the result of their work, unlike most of us huge capitalist centre dwellers who only see fake richness (huge office towers, shopping malls, gigantic highway systems, consumerism, generic pop culture) they get real richness (a close knit community, family, tradition, culture, spirituality _not the same as religiousness_, good health, useful and great skills etc.)
It works both ways though. Parents can't just treat their children like free labour. In return for helping hand, you need to have patience with them and spend time with them and give them lots of love.
They learn three languages, how to be handy, how to cook, how to fish and how to survive in hardcore environments. This is absolutely incredible. Such a beautiful culture with such hard working people. I saw someone else say seeing this life makes them yearn for something else, and I completely agree. There is something about seeing such a beautiful community and how wonderful the people are and how close the families are. It makes the life we have, the 98% of us being glued to our phones, seem lazy and unfulfilling.
Because our ancestors have been living this way for thousands of years - hunting, foraging, socializing, building a community, raising children to be hardworking so the next generation will survive. Technology, industrialization and colonization destroyed everything "human" about us. We're no longer humans, we're more like robots doing mundane tasks over and over until we keel over and die. Meanwhile, these people live almost primitively with only a small community. For example, we as men, have this instinct to protect, to hunt, to forage and to conquer. It is in-built into our DNA. But we can't even "live off the land" nowadays due to slave labor. Now we have to work 9-11 hours at an establishment to put food on our table while these people can still eat for free by going outside and hunting fresh catches of food. That's the difference, because Yakutian people can still "live off the land" while we can't.

I’m watching from North Wales UK, when my husband starts complaining about whether, I usually said to him: “If you will complain about cold, I will send you to Siberia”😂😂
Good job of pulling the whole seasonal cycle together into a single video. Really enjoyed watching it again in a single format kind of completes the full cycle. 👍👍👍
This was one of the best documentaries I have watched in a very long time. So well done!! Narrated so well, and even enjoyed the music. I also really enjoying seeing the bloopers lol. What a lovely community of people.
Arian is the spitting image of his dad! And apparently, he likes all the same things, too: hunting, fishing and knife-making. It's so heartwarming to see ❤
For hardworking person like Arian anything is possible, they can go to Moscow for studies and have multiple career options but he choose to be around his family, nature, experience life to the fullest, what it truly means to be alive, away from the filth of this world.
Now this is how to live. Beautiful family and beautiful culture. Their entire lifestyle is based around love and family. Arian never complains. He knows he needs to pull his weight for the good of the family unit. Look how happy they are.
Seeing Yakutia in winter, spring, summer, and autumn is so surreal, and the joy of this family spending time together, fishing, cooking, and singing by the river is so heartwarming. I love your content ❤❤
Their parents look young............There is love in the family missing in big cities. Nature harsh but breathtakinginly beautiful❤❤❤❤❤❤Love from India
I live in Greece and frankly began to wonder if this is hell😂😂😂😂. I lived in Canada for the first 24 years of my life and can quite honestly say that I would chose being homeless in Athens rather than live in such horrid places
Nah, I'm still going to complain about bad weather 😊 When it rains for a few months straight and the wind doesn't stop, I will complain and feel sorry for myself. 😂
Meanwhile, in the concrete jungles of the Western world, people are racing to pay for the iPhone 16 Pro, the Mercedes E-Class, the mortgage on a big apartment or house, and all the unnecessary things we think we need. But here, in this video, you can see what truly matters-a loving family in a tiny home. When we respect ourselves, we can respect each other, living with love and in harmony.
Everyone has the right to spend on what ever they want from what they earned. If they wish to help poor ppl or buy mercedes thats up to them. Humanity is on a person’s heart
Upon seeing it for the 2nd time, the following thought came cross my mind; this is one of a rare, intriguing documentary about how the people can survive in such inhospitably cold region. Btw, the fact that we are able to enjoy & appreciate its entirety w/o being interrupted its continuity by those annoying ads or adverts like those by BBC of the UK & PBS of the USA is truly our luxurious special privilege. Thus I can't be more grateful & so my heartfelt thanks to you for that!,,,,,(11/07/24)
I'm fortunate I can have it in my budget in USA to watch Premium UA-cam without ads. UA-cam is my favorite pretty-much ad-free channel. I love these documentary videos showing the culture of others across the world.
He is such a hardworking, great kid.❤ I love the strong connection of community and family… something that is Sadly missing from most of the world today. I enjoy these videos so much- treating Mother Nature with the greatest of respect, kindness and love… thank you ❤
Not a place where sinister passersby stop on their way to somewhere else, I guess. That is a huge reason for low crime in remote little towns. And I can't imagine that they have a drug problem there, either. That also helps. It's not an easy life, but it seems to be a good one! (Except for the insanely long and bitterly cold winters.)
@Boris-g7c Yes, Moving to the coldest place on earth is something that few people would be tempted to do. That should be a good protection. And the language!
Really impressed by the way the boy is growing. His parents have taught him all the good things in life, to be self reliant, hard working, sincere, nice to parents and grandparents. We guys are nothing compared to them.

Reminded me of living in a village in my home country Poland. Where everyone know you, fresh food no preservatives, river close to home for swimming and fishing lots of good memories the good old 80s. Rally good job, hart worming documentary!
Thank you for the beautiful video with friendly people. The family can be proud of their children, especially little nine-year-old Arian. All the best and kind regards from Germany 😊
How easy life we do enjoy here in Bangladesh. So lovely, a family and Yakuts village, though in harsh and extreme weather. The world should not have any boundaries. If people could have lived anywhere they wanted, it would have been great then. Take a bow, Kiun.
This shows the value of constant work. It creates comfort for the whole year, not just instant gratification. Their lives are full of pleasures which we have lost. They have none of our stresses or illnesses, it would seem. Love ,light and joy is what they have in their daily lives while we have different values, mostly based on money. Thank you for showing us your culture and sharing your lifestyle with us. With love from Australia. 🇦🇺🙏🏼🙏🏼 🌺🐝🌻🦋
I've watched these videos over and over again. I love the unity among the community members, the simplicity of life in the coldest part of the earth. Gives me a glimpse of something beautiful that I would never see with my physical eyes. Thank you for sharing.
Remarkable video collating the seasons. Something very simple and pure about the lifestyle - hard work, tasks, co-operation between family and community members, beauty of the landscape and having fun. Not many places in the world have a 100C+ temperature swing between winter and summer.
I love the tradition of autumn ice fishing where all participate as one and celebrate together. Community decency and humanity survives nearly anything.
It’s absolutely beautiful. I don’t think I could do it. I’ve lived in the desert all my life. Here in Arizona (USA) we have very hot summers, they average 115• to 117• F. But it’s only really hot for 4 to 5 months. The rest of the year it’s beautiful. Nov to Feb it gets cold in the mornings, as low as 30• F. Well cold for us, especially coming off 115• summer weather. But by noon we are usually in the 70’s F. I guess like anywhere you adapt and just get use to the climate you live in. The families are all so loving and the children so respectful and helpful. These people are definitely doing life right!!
Wonderful compassionate documentary of this coldest village in Siberia, Yukatia, highlighting one family, for sharing the cultural influences that are needed as a community to survive these harsh conditions! A long winter: around 6 months. A short summer: barely 3 months. With spring and fall the other transitional seasons of about 3 months together. What is important for this lifestyle is how to respect, love and share with Nature to survive, be self-sustaining. Frozen and fresh food sources for protein are fish, meat and dairy. The balance of the rest of their diet is freezing and preserving what vegetable, herbs, fruit, berries, roots and other plant sources that are grown, gathered or bought, to last through the long, cold months. Equally important is harvesting the ice for drinking and cooking at the right time of year, as well as collecting or purchasing lake water for bathing, laundry and watering. There is a lot to learn about the importance of preserving this lifestyle. The world needs to help support the crafts, oral traditions, techniques for survival in this environment where both ancient and modern behaviors can be useful and shared for a more long, healthier, respectful, kinder, nurturing approach to all life and Nature! Beautiful documentary that should continue to be watched, reviewed, to learn from and share!! ☮️💟👍🥰♥️♥️♥️
They simply combined two previous videos of the family in order to show the entire seasonal cycle of their lives into one single documentary-style video. I like that idea...but I'm hoping they will have a follow up video on Arian someday. I'd love to know how his life has progressed.
Don’t care if this is a compilation of various past videos - it’s still very interesting. Also - it’s NICE to see kids/parents NOT reaching for devices like cell phones to check social media.
@@richards8872 So what? It's like you saying 'you're hungry, yet here you are, celebrating people who aren't hungry. Have you considered not being hungry?' A large part of the Western world has electronic communications as a part of their daily life. Why can't they admire people and societies who aren't glued to their phones at all times?
I believe it can be emotionally dismissive to say such things. It's essential for us to cultivate empathy and understanding, as they truly matter. Smartphones provide a wonderful avenue for accessing useful and essential information, not the other way around, like you've mentioned, but i respect your opinion. However, I found the video a bit misleading. I have great respect and compassion for the parents, but it was concerning how infrequently they seemed to check on their son. Simple expressions like "I love you" appeared to be missing, which is pretty unforgettably daunting to hear. Ultimately, only God knows the full story, and I sincerely hope that their son and the family is doing well. My thoughts and prayers are with them all.
What a beautiful story to tell the world. It seems harsh living in such the weather but there are so many good things come out and lives can be enjoyable. Thank you for great story teller.
That boy Arian is learning how to live and survive in this harsh environment. He has wonderful parents who teach him very well. Meanwhile, our youth are playing their X boxes or PlayStations to pass the time. Who has the richest life, I ask. Me, I'd prefer to have a son with Arians attitude... who doesn't shy away from his daily chores, and lives an active life. It's also great that he's learning three languages in school... very different languages at that.
I feel alive again after watching this beautiful documentary, experiencing their moments of deep connection, family, hard work, joy, positivity, honest, kind, ingenuity, authentic life, survival and purpose.. despite all the hardships.. Amazing people
What delightful young person Arian is! His parents have raised him to know the meaning of responsibility. Beautiful to see. Arian is kind and helpful and respectful unfortunately those qualities are somewhat rare in many of the children in the West. The community is also wonderful everyone just living a rich meaningful simple life.

I admire these family and all the ppl who live in this village. I used to live in AK and I couldn't handle 10 degrees. But for this family showing us how to embrace, work hard, and have the right attitude to survive in such a difficult climate is amazing.

What an amazing society these people have. Hardworking, wholesome souls that have no crime and live in tough but beautiful conditions.
Stop with the tiktok trend of over using the word wholesome… sounds so TikTok
you should move there!!
How wonderful to see how the lovely people in the coldest part of the world live. They are such a beautiful heartwarming and gracious family, thank you so much for sharing this with us, it is greatly appreciated indeed! With lots of love and respect From Scotland UK ❤🤗xxx
I’m watching from North Wales UK, when my husband starts complaining about whether, I usually said to him: “If you will complain about cold, I will send you to Siberia”😂😂
From southern USA. Much love ❤
I like that they don’t fish the same lake for three years. That allows the stock to replenish. Smart fishing/hunting practices
Wow, thank you!
Arian is the spitting image of his dad! And apparently, he likes all the same things, too: hunting, fishing and knife-making. It's so heartwarming to see ❤
To be fair, there's not much else he can do lol. Career options are not that varied out there.
And one of the sister, the one that sing, (without guitar )looked so much like their mom.
Is that not what life is really all about,my heartfelt love to that beautiful family
Their parents look young............There is love in the family missing in big cities. Nature harsh but breathtakinginly beautiful❤❤❤❤❤❤Love from India
"There's no such thing as bad weather, just the weather and your attitude towards it"
Think I might start using that.
In sweden we usually say "there is no bad weather, only bad clothes"
@@100Predator We say the same in Germany.
I live in Greece and frankly began to wonder if this is hell😂😂😂😂. I lived in Canada for the first 24 years of my life and can quite honestly say that I would chose being homeless in Athens rather than live in such horrid places
No there is bad (dangerous) weather. Face it.😅
Nah, I'm still going to complain about bad weather 😊 When it rains for a few months straight and the wind doesn't stop, I will complain and feel sorry for myself. 😂
Such a lovely family!! Impressed with how Arian is a brave little man and learns so quickly. Blessings to you… 🙏🏾
2:06 Sweet Arian ❤❤❤
I love seeing videos about him and his family!
Please update us more often about Arian 🥰😍
Meanwhile, in the concrete jungles of the Western world, people are racing to pay for the iPhone 16 Pro, the Mercedes E-Class, the mortgage on a big apartment or house, and all the unnecessary things we think we need. But here, in this video, you can see what truly matters-a loving family in a tiny home. When we respect ourselves, we can respect each other, living with love and in harmony.
All the parents care about is producing a hardworker.
which Iphone, which Mercedes my friend...Wea re struggeling to pay the rent !
Everyone has the right to spend on what ever they want from what they earned. If they wish to help poor ppl or buy mercedes thats up to them. Humanity is on a person’s heart
The problem is capitalism, my dude. We can all shake it off if we try.
Then move pumpkin pie
It just shows how much the kids are spoiled today 😢 and on the flip side how much we should love and appreciate our families ❤
Thus I can't be more grateful & so my heartfelt thanks to you for that!,,,,,(11/07/24)
Thank you so much for your kind words! 🙏🏻
I'm fortunate I can have it in my budget in USA to watch Premium UA-cam without ads. UA-cam is my favorite pretty-much ad-free channel. I love these documentary videos showing the culture of others across the world.
Yes, indeed It is the best to learn and aspire to other's way of life and kindness ❤@@DolceFarNienteJoy
He is such a hardworking, great kid.❤ I love the strong connection of community and family… something that is Sadly missing from most of the world today. I enjoy these videos so much- treating Mother Nature with the greatest of respect, kindness and love… thank you ❤
"No stealing, no murders, no police". Wow! What a place to be. They all know each other.
Away from the filth of this world hopefully this exposure to outside world don't ruin it, being in a very cold Republic helps a lot.
@Boris-g7c Yes, Moving to the coldest place on earth is something that few people would be tempted to do. That should be a good protection. And the language!
Population 20 lol
they are in russia, i wonder if the men there are conscripted to fight in ukraine
Such great kids, without all the technology and distractions! Also the time with father in the workshop is priceless. Kuddos!
Really impressed by the way the boy is growing. His parents have taught him all the good things in life, to be self reliant, hard working, sincere, nice to parents and grandparents. We guys are nothing compared to them.
grandmothers are everywhere the same, they give their grandchildren gifts
i’ve gained so much appreciation for a place i have never once heard of, since watching this video. what a peaceful and happy life this seems like. happy family, happy life. being in nature, eating together, hunting and fishing together. this is a beautiful life, wow.
The "B's" (Kiun) Yakutia trilogy. A beautiful display of human natural habitat,; a break from the current chaos of the world. Thank you.
Arian is such a good boy. Most children yell or cry when you ask them to clean their room or do the dishes. Such a beautiful family.
Those children are too spoiled...
Children are a reflection of their parents.
spare the rod spoil the child
Only in Western cultures…. These guys have it right. Great video diary.
Children don't just yell or cry out loud on their own. They only do so when raised by bad parents.
Thank you Kiun B for sharing this adventure through the seasons. Пожалуйста, передайте мою благодарность и наилучшие пожелания Ариану, его матери и отцу, его бабушке и дедушке. I wish many more generations continue living a hardworking and beautiful pure life. ❤
This is the best video I’ve watched on UA-cam. It makes my daily City life of work and over priced Supermarket foods seem lesser than life. I would love to visit this beautiful place and these beautiful people. This is human in its simplicity and true nature. Love and much blessings to them all ❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It's a truly special place.
Travel always widens the mind and makes for better understanding and education and simply brings people together.
Absolutely beautiful family with incredible parents and wonderful children, The country is stunning! Thank you for sharing your life with us all❤
This shows the value of constant work. 🇦🇺🙏🏼🙏🏼 🌺🐝🌻🦋
We all had it in the past, but lost in in the 20th century when stuff and money took over our lives.
They ran out of content and re uploaded a video 2 years ago , cause i swear I already saw this video 😂
That’s what I said!.. I’m like I know I saw this video already like at least a year ago 😄
They simply combined two previous videos of the family in order to show the entire seasonal cycle of their lives into one single documentary-style video. I like that idea...but I'm hoping they will have a follow up video on Arian someday. I'd love to know how his life has progressed.
Feeling a little less nuts now....
I mean... It's a channel dedicated to the coldest town on earth with 9+ months of winter. What do you expect?
Yes I saw a part of it last night 😂
Don’t care if this is a compilation of various past videos - it’s still very interesting. Also - it’s NICE to see kids/parents NOT reaching for devices like cell phones to check social media.
Yet here you are on a device commenting lol
@@richards8872Right!😂
@@richards8872 So what?
It's my first time watching.
Amazing people! Beautiful display of a culture who knows the real importance of life & their family time together.
What a beautiful story to tell the world. It seems harsh living in such the weather but there are so many good things come out and lives can be enjoyable. Thank you for great story teller.
A simple and very rewarding way of life due to hard work and self sustainability. You can’t help but feel pride when you do the work yourself.
Kiun, your videos are wonderful. They are enjoyable and informative. Please keep them coming!
53:30. Nice. A very long episode. Can't wait to watch it tonight.
That kid is a beast!!! Well done mom and dad!
In other words you’d prefer to go back to the dark ages? With that kind of life it takes on wrong step to lose it all and die.
So you want a mini adult , or raise them to know they are kids and mom and dad provide for them . Many ways .
There's something magical about it. I love winter
Thank you for pulling the whole series together into a single video. Really enjoyed watching it again ❤️
Cold outside but warm inside. i love the way Arian's family being so close each other even on the hardcore environments. Arian's grows up with good fathers education to comunication with nature. hope this family always healthy any way!!!
That stick she uses to whip around with is an incredibly good thing. Going to make one and take it to my cottage by the river next summer because I don't have electricity there. have a good time far away.
The poor guy who lost his vision but still finds ways to help his people warms my heart.
I admire these family and all the ppl who live in this village. I used to live in AK and I couldn't handle 10 degrees. But for this family showing us how to embrace, work hard, and have the right attitude to survive in such a difficult climate is amazing.
That looks like paradise on both winter and summer.
How I love watching your videos about this village. Please upload more❤️
It’s tough but also fulfilling in so many ways. True human resilience
As I always say with every video you post, I love these people!! It is what people should be, kind, loving, hardworking, caring about others as much as themselves! xoxoxo
It is certain that Arian is a future star who will lead his community. What a perseverance! What a resilience! Truly guided by pure human values.
My parents are from siberia but i grew up in germany. Always so fascinate about siberia, wanna travel there so badly. will do so in the coming years, beautiful documentary. Love the culture, people, traditions. Keep up the good work
So a pure life does exist, amazing how they just simply enjoy everything no matter what. Priceless ❤
It's yt , they don't show the bad .
The coldest I have lived in was -4, I don't think I would survive long in this extremely cold land. This has been a very enjoyable video and I really enjoyed seeing how these people cope with what is normal life for them. They are truly exceptional
This little family is so idyllic, it's almost hard to fathom. All 3 members are stellar. What a stark difference to most families in other places which are considered 'advanced.' If I get reincarnated, I want parents like that, in a small town.
What a wonderful life and education, the skills Arian learns are so important for any man to know. The community spirit seems wonderful, I think it gives reason to consider is western life really so good.
It honestly feels like I’m sitting with them and I’m apart of their family. Thank you for this wonderful video of this beautiful family ❤️
I find her voice very soothing
❤ beautiful❤ , is video has touched me. Incredible how they live , they give full respect through everything they do , they work in harmony to not destroy the land the relationships with the wild life and other families. If I would have to do my life over again I wish I would do it with them. Working together with Harmony and in nature bring so much blessed happiness. Thank you so much for showing me your special ways of doing things opening up your heritage to show us how we could be better in harmony. I love you all❤❤❤
American children and teens could learn a lot about work ethic from this young boy. Wonderful family and community!
That is for sure. But if parents did this in many parts of the USA,the parents would be charged with child abuse. God forbid you make your child have any responsibilities. That is one of the reasons this country is falling apart.
Supporting each other and appreciating them for the honest work is what the greatest thing which binds family together ❤
Such a fantastic video. I was so intrigued and entranced with this beautiful families life! And omg what a cute little boy! So respectful, so hard working, such a cutie pie
Thank you! Arian is a special young man. 😊
These videos have a comforting warmth that’s hard to put into words.
I like the feeling of being warm inside when it's cold outside or raining heavily. It makes me feel safe.
panzy!
and happier
Very interesting to see how it is to live in such a cold environment. Amazing landscapes. Thank you so much for sharing ❤ love from The Netherlands!
This is the best video I've seen and it teaches us to appreciate what we have. They little boy spends lots of time with his family and helping out. I don't subscribe to channel however I hope I contributed by watching. Thank you for your video.
Something about the simplicity is so beautiful and calming to watch.
Thank you for this wonderful video.🙏🏽😊
watching from Nairobi, Kenya🇰🇪
Thank you for uploading this video. It has been a delight to watch. ❤️
Little Arian is quite a little man. Wish him the best of luck in his life. He reminds me of my little brother, whom i miss a lot.
The beauty of a simple life with all the love and happiness you can ask for. Thank you.
I noticed dogs don't seem cold. Thanks for the video. Well done.
Siberian huskies- born and bred for this weather, they do worse in places like the states it’s too hot
