I watched this again tonight but, with my 13 year old grand son... We had several LONG discussions about the right ways to sharpen knives etc...I appreciate your sharing all that you know. These kinds of "life skills" are priceless!
Your positive feedback makes me happy. Thank you!
Always an education, brilliant as usual. 👊👍❤️
Thanks a lot!!
As always, good solid knowledge. Thumbs up.
Thanks a lot my friend from Alaska :-D
Felix, you are incredible! You never cease to amaze me
Thanks, really useful.
Hint on the keyring - hook it under the corkscrew.
Mensch klasse. Auf die Idee kommen nur Maschinenbauer. Bin nur Elektroniker... top Idee.
Grüße aus dem Norden.
Danke Harry!
Good tip. It always helps to have a guide when sharpening any edge.
Very true!
This is very clever trick, which can be used for sharpening of all different angles.
Thanks a lot for your positive feedback!
HELLOO from youtube in NewYork! Glad I found you, enjoying every minute you give us. more more

We'll done again My friend, You are a true Teacher!!! Best regards from Goyolon , your friend from Chile!!!!

Thanks a lot my friend!
@@FelixImmler You're welcome!
Super Trick Felix, weiter so und bleib gesund.
Danke mein lieber Freund!!
The idea creates creativity!
Just proved a point to my friend that there is a way to sharpen the reamer/awl and you proved it to him just now , I’ve never had reason to sharpen my Swiss Army same model as in your video ...... I only use it on wood it never lets me down . Happy new year Felix ciaooooo
I really appreciate the knowledge that you share.
I didn’t know this angle 48. Now it will be more easy to sharp it. Thank you.
Thanks a lot!!
I have never tried that trick, but I will. Thank you Felix.
Dein Kommentar freut mich sehr! Vielen Dank!
Excellent as usual Felix and all the best .
Felix - you are a genius. Thank you very much.

Thanks a lot!
Love all your tricks and tips.

Slightly disappointd you didn't use the pen, scissors and woodsaw on a Swiss Army knife, Felix, but still a very good trick.
Many woodworkers use similar guides for things like spokeshave blades.
Thanks for another great & helpful tip, Felix! I have sharpened the reamer freehand & never got it perfect. Now I know what to do. The Fieldmaster I ordered from your Amazon site just arrived. I plan to make the spoon carving chisel mod you showed. Blessings
Thanks you so much! I like your Enthousiastm!
Absolutely amazing Mr.Felix! You truly are a blessing and I very much appreciate you sharing your experience and knowledge with us! I hope you are gifted blessings each and every day! Hi Félix, thanks a lot for this class,i wanted to know how to sharp the reamer, a hug since México
Great tip 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Felix.
Salut Nico. Merci bien!!

Basically what I needed! It always chipped when I accidentally closed it on keyring. Thanks and greetings!
Glad I could help!
Dino, perhaps you can use the corkscrew to lockdown the ring.
Good info ! Your shop is awesome too
Thanks George 👍
You Da Man !!! Awesome Tip !

That’s a very nice trick 😊
Thank you Henning! Cheers!
Coole Sache. VG. Rainer
Danke Für den Kommentar lieber Rainer. Viel Erfolg beim Schärfen!
Wwwow top👍👍👍👍danke felix und schoenes wochenende!
Danke Boris!
Nice lol I usually just freehand the reamer on a ceramic rod or fine diamond stone but this way seems quicker and more effective :)
If you allready have su a angle ceek... than you are quicker and more accurate.... may be :-D
Gracias por la explicación. 👏👏👏Saludos.
Muchas gracias for watching!
😁 felix the best !!!👍👏👏
Vielen Dank Karl!
Great thanks mate
Any time!
Cooler Trick. 👍
Freut mich!
Ciaoooo😄bravo come sempre..grazie
Hello Felix, really enjoy learning tips and tricks from your channel. I have many SAK’s that I have collected over the years but recently have been carrying an Alox Farmer. I was wondering why I have never seen you use an Alox SAK in any of your videos? Thanks again for educating me in so many ways of the SAK. You are like a SAK Jedi Master!
Very very good !!Good life!!
Thank you! 😃
You da man Felix
Love it
Thank you so much!
Super!
Great video my friend
That's good for begginers. I keep the reamer sharp, with an easier and faster way. I simply put the edge bevel, flat on a ceramic rod, until I fell the edge laying flat on it, then I drug it on, like sharpening a knife blade. After less than a minute, the edge is 2-3 times shaprer, than factory sharpness. Sometimes, if more work is needed and a burr is formed, I just do the same, on the other side of the edge, but I do only one normal pass and then I check sharpness with my thumb and I repeat the steps, if needed. Take care!
PS I always sharpen both my blades and the sharp tools, the first day I get them. Not only you can make them much sharper, it's also proper, to remove the fatigued steel, to reach the good heat treated steel, especially on our knife blades, where we have to sharpen them, at least 3-4 times, until we can reach, the "good" steel. Only after 4 or sometimes 5 sharpenings, you can judge a steel, on how it can perform, both in edge retention and on toughness!
Bro you are awesome
nicely done
Thanks for the visit
Every time a new idea
Thanks a lot Arthur!
I did this last week and was really not easy - your video came round about 7 days too late :) next time I know how to make it better, thanks!
